the way i see it, it's all on minjoo. like what kind of grand act of rejection are we supposed to have? even minjoo herself had said that she keeps getting rejected but she continues to pursue and seduce him anyway. I think that's a her problem more than a yoonjae problem, but still he is a red flag?
Was definitely shocked with that ending. I thought we were going to get real Yi Heon back. But I wasn't disappointed with how it went though.
I think that no matter who actually died in the end, it would have been bittersweet.
Real Yi Heon deserved to live that new life, without all the suffering and challenges that he had to go through before. But at the same time, I also do recognize what he said at the end where he just felt so tired and just wanted to rest. If anything, it was a silver lining that he got to see his life get turned around, and that perhaps the justice he sought and couldn't get himself was fulfilled by Deuk Pal. He was there as a wandering soul, seeing it all unfold in front of him.
But Deuk Pal too, deserved to continue on living, and perhaps fulfiill his own aspirations in life too. So, after all the hard work he has done, I'm glad that he's having that chance too, getting into college and all that.
Several points could be made on why YH or DP should have lived on, and both are equally valid. And if an alive DP is whag we're gonna get, then I'd gladly take it. :)
Overall, it was really an amazing story, discounting the omitted BL angle. We've seen so much growth in our boys, SeKyung and Jaemin, and it was so satisfying to see Deuk Pal's checklist get fulfilled one by one. Haha.
Only wish is to see character growth for SeKyung's dad, and for the secretary to have a more severe punishment than just being abandoned by the chairman.
Can't this be more than just 8 episodes? T_T I want to see some more slice of life scenes with DP adjusting to college student life too!
i finally got around to watching the final episode last night... :( and i cried... for akk. i wanted this best boy to be happy, but gdi theo is too much.
From the trailer, we hear Yeon Seok say "He's not elegant and he's a man. It's like a different person, but I like it."
Seems to me like he'll fall in love with Ha Yeon as he is now, a man, and not simply because he's the reincarnation of his love in the past lives? Here's hoping that this line also means we're veering away from the 'I dont like men, I only like you.' trope. :)
a breath of fresh air! really enjoyed the 1st episode. back story and character intros i think were done particularly well despite the lack of minutes (20 still isnt long but is definitely already double than what weve been getting from recent kbls so far!). funny and lighthearted. yeon seok and sin bi dynamic is entertaining af. Haha. And of course my cutiepie hayeon. Been following Chang Ha for a while now on tiktok and IG so it was a pleasant surprise for me when i found out he'd be leading in a BL. Really excited and looking foward to how this goes!

the exaggeration works i think because that was also how it was executed in the manga. like aoki hiding in the curtains, putting himself in the trash, the iconic hashimoto slap, haha. all of these add to the lighheartedness of the show and i really enjoy and love it <3
TK realizing that he might be catching feelings for DO! I can't blame him with all the niceness and attention that DO is showering him with. My gosh that cream on the mouth thing is so cliche but Im honestly living for it! Haha. But!! Still on the same boat as probably everyone else, we dont really know if this is DO just being his usual people pleaser self or he truly does like TK! Guess we'll find out next ep when SH confronts him about it!
Also TK's confusion about SW's actions. Haha! I guess we're getting there for this ship? Loved the development from SW but we would need more than that now, SW!! Better act fast! That moment he had to calm his heart down after having a talk with TK was cute! His tsundere actions when they were cleaning the room was so adorable too. Haha!
NG (Namgung, because Shi Woon would be too confusing for if we use initials lol) putting SH in her place?! That was brilliant! I have a feeling they'll end up together. Anyway, he's such a brilliant person and a joy to watch. He made that dinner so much fun was so cool as well. Guess he didnt expect it to backfire on him, but the rest of the table really wouldnt laugh at that moment because they were al having serious feelings even though some of them may not have realized it yet, and then there's the teacher too. Lol. So it's bound to be him who loses the game.
Im so loving this series, to the point that im dreading having a weekend that's keeping me apart from the next episode! Haha!
I was completely fine with TK ending up with either SW or DO until ep4. The way my heart felt so gutted seeing SW crumple that box of bandaids made me realize that I was rooting for him all along.
SH is a bit much, to be honest, but damn DO, did her real dirty there. I assume he'd eat or walk with TK for a bit and then go back to SH, but that's a pretty long time to keep someone waiting tbh.
Cant deny it anymore, Im really hooked with this series and I genuinely do like the characters. Obviously, theyre not perfect little angels, having their own struggles and worries, but I do hope they get to develop a whole lot more as the story progresses.
