why does everyone hate nam do san? y'all out here talking about how he's a boring character and how you cringe…
and do san only started this for ji pyeong. and every time he went to tell her the truth, he was stopped by something else. do san doesn't want to keep this a secret. like he's hurting because she's still in love with old do san. i feel that he desperately wants to tell her the truth so that she can start loving him for him and not for the letters that weren't his. he's not benefiting from this in any way in my opinion. more than wanting to continue to receive her affection, he is terrified of losing her and of breaking the company apart. it's not like he doesn't want to tell her the truth, there's just a lot at stake if she does find out the truth.
why does everyone hate nam do san? y'all out here talking about how he's a boring character and how you cringe every time he's on screen. you say he's not dorky enough and has become a main stream male lead. but listen here, nam do san has changed. BUT IN A GOOD WAY. he was a total dork and nerd at the beginning. that aspect hasn't changed one bit in my opinion. he still takes everything and makes it techy and is very awkward around dal mi. butttt, he's finally started being more confident. his parents never believed in him and he was never taken seriously. his self esteem definitely took a hit when ji pyeong showed up and told him he'd never make it. but now look, do san finally has something to fight for. more than wanting to look good in front of dal mi, he's started to want to help her. he wants to help her grandma. he wants to make his parents proud. he's started to become more greedy. he's working harder than ever to achieve his dreams. why is no one talking about this? everyone is just talking about how dal mi has better chemistry with ji pyeong. to that i say, ji pyeong is the main stream male lead here. he is cold to everyone but the female lead and is rich and has a sob story that has everyone feeling for him. he is so predictable in every way. how is nam do san the main stream lead here??? do san is literally the opposite. he is such an ultra soft softboy. he's dorky and goofy and yet his character is already growing so much as he becomes more comfortable in his own skin and has found his motivation to succeed. give him some more love smh.
omg this was a really good drama. why is the mdl rating so bad? i would definitely recommend you give this a go. there were some plot holes, but all in all, i felt like everything made sense in the end. it was a really funny and exciting show. i'm so down for a season 2 if they ever consider it.
i suspected they would use the amnesia trope in the last episode, but i feel like they pulled it off masterfully. i liked how we got to see hyun su finally accepting and forgiving himself, because this is something that we wouldn't have gotten to see had he not lost his memories. he's able to restart his life with ji won without all the guilt of having "lied" to her and "using" her.
definitely one of my favorite dramas of all time and i'm 100% gonna go into a slump now that it's over :(
Only a quarter of the way through. This is my first exposure to Nana, and I am very impressed. The character in…
i felt like park sung hoon got better as the drama progressed. he really is a good actor though - his performance in psychopath diary was near perfect sososkosk
