wait i have a genuine question. do y'all ship miji cos you want ji pyeong to be happy? or do you actually see chemistry between the two characters? cos i want ji pyeong to be happy but i don't ship them cos i dont see any chemistry.
dal mi keeps saying her wants to becomes the next steve jobs and goes and drops out of college. all the successful people who dropped out of college had a passion for what they do. as far as i can see, dal mi doesn't have a passion for AI, right? she only wants to start a business to keep her father's dream alive. she only wants to be a CEO to one up won in jae. she's only gotten this far because do san is a genius and ji pyeong is willing to help her since he loves her. i just can't for the life of me understand her motivations behind her actions. she's not passionate about AI, so why did she choose to start a business based on something she doesn't even know the first thing about? she could've chosen to do what her dad was doing and done smth food based since her grandma owned a corndog shop. why AI lmao? that's so random.
Why make such a pitiful character? They could have shown HJP to have a good relation with the SST boys. There…
yo at least hjp has grandma. won in jae is really truly so alone. she has nobody rooting for her, nobody helping her, and no one who cares about her well being.
Dude I watched it 2-3 days ago and I had the same thoughts and I even expressed it in here... A bunch of delivery…
omg that was you!! i knew i saw someone write a comment about SD here. girl frrr. start up just gets me so frustrated. it's like the writers did no research on how a business works ;-;
im on ep11 of strongest deliveryman and i keep comparing it to start up. like "oh this is what it feels like to watch people running towards their dreams with their friends." it makes me sad honestly, to think about all of start up's wasted potential.
honestly idk why i thought i would like this drama. i dropped i can hear your voice and i didnt like pinocchio so why did i think the writer would make this good? maybe cos she also wrote while you were sleeping? but ugh, i should've known i wouldn't like this ;-;
Just reading the comments, I can’t figure out whether this is worth watching or not. If I understand correctly,…
hmmm. i would say that this isn't a necessarily bad drama. if you go into it expecting a romcom with a major love triangle, i think you will enjoy it. just don't expect a heartwarming story with character growth. you can probably forget about the business aspect entirely. also this is just my opinion, but i don't feel any romantic chemistry between the female lead and the second lead. njh isn't too much better but i still feel some sort of romantic chemistry between the two. i don't ship her with either of them though.
...okay but hjp is their mentor. of course he's just going to guide them. nds is dal mi's partner. of course he's…
that's true. they shouldn't have made her the ceo :(( but for what it's worth, at least both nds and hjp did their best to make sure sdm wasn't completely lost :'))
I was just thinking, loving someone as intense as NDS can be tiring. It is clear to me that NDS loves SDM more…
...okay but hjp is their mentor. of course he's just going to guide them. nds is dal mi's partner. of course he's going to give her the correct answer. in all honesty dal mi is in way over her head. she is not qualified for this. sure she has the conviction to be the ceo, but she seriously has no real knowledge of AI, technology, or even how business works. i think the problem here is not hjp or nds, but sdm.
This drama isn't something amazing or never seen before, but I must say it's solid. It has very good characters and decent development of them. It has an interesting plot that doesn't get very messy. The acting is very natural and it has a really nice OST. Even though it's not the best thing I've ever seen, it does everything it needs to very well. There's nothing wrong with it and I honestly don't believe they could've made this any better. I guess the only complaint I have is that the last episode was quite rushed. But other than that, it's a drama that was very quick and easy to watch and it kept me interested the whole time :))
Guys I read spoilers before starting this drama and the end episode sounds frustrating AF- do y'all recommend…
yes. the story basically ends there. after that they add too many cliches and random plot points that don't fit in. it ruins the vibe from the first half.
Question ~ Can you watch this without watching the prequel?
honestly i think it will be okay if you go into it, though it might be a bit confusing at first. but the first season sets everything up really well and i really think it would be worth your time to watch the first season before this. you'll be able to understand the plot and the dynamic between the group better that way.
