Though the rating and reviews are nice I'm still not sure if I can watch this one, because I don't think I can…
HELLO SAME HERE LOL. I actually don't really watch historical dramas but I was thinking about watching this just for Ji Chang Wook after watching Healer.
Is this drama good? does anyone finished all 76 eps ? is it happy ending?
I feel like daily T-dramas always have a little drag. It's more about: are you emotionally invested? For me, I became emotionally invested maybe after 10 episodes so I began to want to watch their lives and what happened to them. I definitely don't think 70% bad things happened though. Haha I completely get it. Danson was one of my motivators to watch.
I'm so late to this drama but I'm glad I'm watching this. I haven't been compelled to binge watch a drama in a while but Healer is just that addicting! Ahh the feels between the leads-amazing.
Aaron always take on these kind of typical roles. Someone, tell me if it's worth it!
I think it's worth it! Honestly, if you're in the mood for some lighthearted and fluffy drama, it's right up your alley. It's just so cute and if you like high school flashbacks (romance?) intertwined with present, I'm sure you'll like it. Personally, I really enjoy those storylines when the otp knew each other in the past and they meet again.
is this worth watching? i mean Aaron is literally a CEO...again...? another Lao Ban role...?
hahahaha same! Like you, I loved Just You. I liked the first half of FILWM a lot because Aaron's two character performance was phenomenal. However, the second half's plot was so bad that even Aaron couldn't keep me from dropping the drama :( I think Refresh Man will be much better, especially since Joanne is the lead and not Tia.
Thank you ^_^; unfortunately I watched it raw. It's very unpopular internationally. I didn't even know about it until I suddenly came across it while stalking Chris Wu LOL.
Why would you need to go to America? If you were already healed from the surgery?
He went to America not because of the surgery but because his family wanted him to have a fresh start in the States. As said in the movie, he was about to get kicked out of school by Director Chen because he was caught fighting so his Dad sent him to America. After he went to the States, they lost touch because in those times there was no Facebook so "12,000 km is like parting for good". As said by @oyaji they drifted apart because of distance.
I usually wait until half the episodes are out but I caved and watched the first episode. It was pretty good actually. It gave off a similar vibe to Office Girls. Yeah, it's a cliche storyline but I really liked their high school backstory part. I'm looking forward to how that aspect of the drama is going to be explored. And of course, Aaron is as handsome as ever. Joanne and Aaron have good chemistry right now, and I hope it'll get better with each episode!
oh i meant the biological dad of his daughter. Everyone's trying to guess who it is loool. But hey are you watching this too? I haven't started it officially since I want it to be almost done before I start haha.
I gave this a 10 but you said it all so well! I just have so much love for this drama. It's just beyond amazing!…
Aw thanks Marian! I definitely enjoyed this drama (and it introduced me to Mark Chao <3) and I'm thinking about watching the movies (prequels) now after seeing your review on them on skimmedmilkdrama.
