they never really said it was 20 but everyone assumed it was since that's usually the length unless they announce that it's extended or cut. so yeah they cut it down to 18.

Yes, they become friends again! The ending for Sheng Nan and Qian Yao was a little ambiguous. Qian Yao leaves for South Korea but he gives his phone number to Sheng Nan. It's like if there is really going to be a movie version of Marry Me or Not, their ending would be resolved, like In a Good Way (except the movie was never made -_-)

omg i had the same thoughts when I was watching the episode. The only explanation I could come up with was that she really wanted a future (marriage) so when they were arguing hao meng was just asking to get back together. Thus, the "do you know what I really want" from huan zhen.

Agreed. Although I liked this drama as a whole and most loose ends were tied up, I still felt the ending was rushed. Every episode was amazing, except for the last 30 minutes of the last episode! I wanted some more closure to the relationship, especially after so many obstacles. I also hoped for Qian Yao to show up and really redeem himself but his departure to S Korea in episode 14 really was their relationship's ending :/
