is it just me or this series has more placement products than commercials in a Super Bowl game.

finally we have Dark Rover on Viki and loving the fight scenes. When it comes to non-CGI hanging on a string fight scenes the Chinese perfected it. however when it comes to storytelling, they have so much to work on. I mean watching Blood of Youth, Dashing Youth and now Dark River all from the same author should be cohesive. Even Disney who messed up Star Wars are able to stitched stories. maybe each production is separate and each actor has their own way of portraying character but at least stitch them together. it’s not always like that I saw better storylines with Ultinate Note. overall I will give this show a thumbs up for the superlative action and a thumbs down for confusing me as to who is whom. reminds me of Journey of Legend where characters were mashed into each other.

sometimes I just don’t care abo it the storyline when chemistry is this electrifying.

the storyline of this series by far exceeds TJOL with a much better script suited to CY’s strengths which is that cold stare and character. episode 12 was a great metamorphosis.

is it just me hallucinating or am no watching a CDrama every month with CY in it? How long can he sustain this before his body gives up it’s very physically challenging.

I’m late in the BL scene and this was one of the first BL’s I watched and simply can’t recall the storyline but rewatching the uncensored version will definitely make me remember this series and those beautiful peaches. ok I’m really here to watch the serious storyline. thank you IQIYI for showing a better version.

it’s rare that I watch a Thai BL where I don’t fast forward episodes but this four had me glued all the way. I am looking forward to their next series which I hope is equally great or better.

I just started watching this and it’s definitely a significant improvement from Cheng Yo’s recent series The Journey of legend. I hope this will have legs to maintain an interesting storyline

you’re right. he was stoic in the past and this time he’s right for the role. but the chemistry of these two is ripe for the picking.

it’s good to see Ja again and yet this time he is showing so much maturity and restraint in his acting, rare from a lot of Thai BL’s. and their chemistry is spot on.

wow. episode 5 is one of the best episodes in a BL. the relationships feel so real and Winny and Sayang I believe just did their best acting. no sad story but just from the heart.brought back memories of my youth and the si gulat experience with my best friend on the island. I am really missing the island life with this show and specially Thailand. no CGI. just pure acting and fireworks with their chemistry.

I like that analogy of citrus in Antartica as I just came from Antartica and you’re right incident find any citrus. I was only comparing the red wedding scene where every one practically was killed not the whole series. None would compare to the whole series of GOT, nor Harry Potter. but when it comes to storytelling and generating a script I do compare a lot of shows against those two if I were to rate them.

I agree given the right script and the right role he would be good in these type of series. it will test his acting versatility. it’s jsut some actors are so much better in roles that demands emotional scenes

I agree and avoid what I don’t like but there is a such as thing as second chances. it started great and I wanted to see if the writing could be saved…so I just did a lot of fast forward to the more critical parts of the storyline.

I may agree this is better than Hidden Love though that is ahead as a singular storyline yet at times dragging. he acted simply as a moral person which is harder to do that the excess emotions he tried to imply in Fated Hearts. again it’s subjective and some like that kind of over emotional acting. to each his own.

I’m sorry if I offend anyone specially the serious fans but let’s be honest, this is the worst imitation of Game of Thrones specially the Red Wedding where everyone practically dies. The acting is superfluous and the script is ridiculous. and hey, when everyone is gone let’s leave the empires to be ruled by the…oh don’t even get me started on that. another ending like Shadow Love makes it feel like watching Cinderella with an ending where they love happily ever after. Amd again I am sorry but this is CZ least favorite acting. he was more natural and likable in Hidden Love. the good news is it ended. now to move on to the next.

just completed episode 31 and I feel like I am getting deep into this rabbit hole and I don’t want to be in it and that’s in a bad way. do they really need these new characters who first of all there wasn’t enough development on their history. yeah they saved the prince who in my opinion could be doing something else more beneficial to the storyline. it can’t be that lame. I must love torturing myself to watch this til the end.
