Please help me understand I’m catching up on episode 6 why the two misguided college interns to play detective. I can understand investigative reporter completely but for inexperienced students what is the writer implying….thai girls are dumb and dumber? Maybe my understanding is off…

In previous episodes a police officer allowing her sister to see confidential police photos doesn’t make sense either. I feel like the sister is made the scapegoat even to the point of sharing information with the newscaster/reporter.

With only 10 episodes it took half way to even get them to get their chemistry juices flowing…they could have gotten away with much less episodes and dedicate time for Sing and Chimon. They’re maturity and acting experience definitely shined.

There we are left making assumptions. Thats what happens when lacking context. But enough overthinking what episode is the NC scene 🤣🤣🤣

I did notice that and also made me think supernatural. The whole scene either wasn’t edited well of the Directors missed some scenes.

And I am beginning to believe that his character is being depicted as someone hesitant to change even after 200 years passed. I’m surprised he even knows how to use a laptop. Be that as it may I can accept that reasoning

oh no your not rude at all and thank you for clarifying. I can forgive a 20 year old who refuses to use a smartphone that’s plausible, but one who lived through Indistrial revolution from horse buggies to cars would know where thing would go. I don’t watch previews so for people like us do not have context this is a vampire story the episode will not make sense. and maybe he’s one of those vampires that walks in the light hence “nour”. That makes sense. Andnif he’s a vampire then you’re right he is stronger and faster but why would he need a gun to shoot a teen holding a rock?

oh I’m a all for kissing on impulse. absolutely so much for it. that was an awesome kiss. The show just leaves us kind of viewers wondering. asking more questions. but really thank you for your great explanation. much appreciated

I always believe for a storyline to be flowing smoothly there has to be context, this scene lacked context. It was to show that they previously met but why and how?

Episode 1 had me sitting on the fence. Episode 2 made me fall off. The episode finally gives us some context about our two leads, but instead of clarifying things, it creates even more inconsistencies. The QME scenes raised questions about forensic procedure, Dr. Ken suddenly pulls a gun and shoots a suspect with a rock, and somehow the younger, more athletic James is the one left behind in a chase. And our 200+ year-old immortal doctor doesn’t know what a smartphone is? Seriously? What has he been doing all these centuries besides finding 200+ ways to kill himself? Sleeping?

Then came the kiss. Golden… but what triggered it? Attraction? A vision. Give me more. It’s called context. I don’t need the writers to explain everything, but I do need the characters’ actions to make sense. The tonal shifts between mystery, comedy and romance aren’t quite working for me either. Manner of Death and Spare Me Your Mercy showed how to maintain that tense romantic chemistry without losing the mystery. Right now, NOUR has an intriguing concept, but I’m starting to wonder if the writers have thought through the details as carefully as they’ve imagined the premise.

Was on the fence with the first episode and other than the kiss, fell downhill on the second episode. How can a 200 plus year old not even know what a smart phone does? Was he sleeping all the time?

Dark, mysterious and definitely giving me Highlander vibes. An immortal who wants to die, a rogue cop who seems to have his own rules, and two completely opposite characters whose connection we don’t yet understand. I’m intrigued, but I’m also asking a lot of questions and the writers better have some very good answers.

So far, the production looks promising: strong visuals, atmospheric music and an excellent OST. I also like that the two leads aren’t coming from the usual “ship” background, which makes their dynamic feel fresher and less predictable. One episode in, I’m curious enough to continue but I’m watching you, NOUR.

I was chatting with another member and I had the same question and maybe some knows the answer promise miss the multitude of clues and bread crumbs Zelia loves to entice her viewers….but on the first scene of the final episode …Changyang was gettin an advice from his father (sitting behind the glass) while QL sat next to CY, and then as QL leans away there is an image of another person across him that came out of the shadow. Who is he? And what is the reason CY’s father ended up sitting behind the glass?

Just like the song “50 ways to leave your lover”, this series begins with “how many ways can you die” is turning out to be a very interesting premise for a BL. I hope this show keeps its momentum going unlike other Thai BL’s lately.
