Finally caught up with all released episodes...This is one of those rare cases in cdramas where it didn’t go…
well said…it felt like a sailboat picking up wind. glad the story addressed these matters at the right timing.

It took me two hours to get through this episode 😭 I completely understand why a lot of folks are scared to…
I waited another day to prepare myself emotionally for this episode…and I’m glad I did. this episode had so many emotions and pulled the skill of many actors, obvious and subtler behaviors.

WHO would have thought that one day BLs from china of all places (the land of censored "bromance") would…
so true. the artistic skills of the same team from the Secret of Lichi Island does it again. not rushed just artfully tasteful

This was a depressing episode.I too, would've liked SOME indication as to how much time has passedQL's mom is…
yes this was a sad episode after the highs but the show needed that emotional dip to get us deeply emotionally more pulled into the show. surprising a main character passed away so soon but if that’s what it takes

I love how the top is played by a tanned manly guy in crewcut. It’s different from the leading men type in China:…
yes that has been my issue with a lot of BL’s only highlighting light skinned men. this is a refreshing look at browned skinned Asians.

episode 6. The heavy rain. The black umbrella. These symbols of grieving, foreboding and emotional death. Every frame seems to whisper that something precious is coming to an end.

But it was the bathroom scene that truly left me speechless. The use of mirrors, not merely as reflections, but as visual metaphors for fractured hearts, emotional distance, and unspoken frustration was breathtaking. As the camera captured their images separated by glass and angles, it marked the beginning of their emotional separation long before words could.

This is filmmaking at its finest, where the cinematography tells the story as powerfully as the dialogue. Every composition had purpose; every reflection carried meaning.

Damn… this wasn’t just beautifully shot. It was magnificent.

one must be getting old when after watching this movie I realized I already saw it. it didn’t have much impact on me then but for some reason it has more meaning now. maybe because it was during the pandemic that the loss of life resonated but this time, it’s the value of friendship that truly hit me. beautifully told, and enduring story of determination in spite of life’s losses and challenges. and being based on the history of China’s Qin dynasty it even had more significance.

finally caught up with episode 34 and her trauma from all the loss, the PTSD caused her neuroses which was her coping mechanism, understandably. so remiscent of our losses during COVID19. so tragic. beautifully told.

oh wow... that's exactly what i was thinking.. i lovee the chemistry they're having, both as actors and characters..…
exactly…relations just don’t build overnight and specially one this deep should at least have a little more story or history…makes it more meaningful and relatable for us viewers

They are not best of friends, they are soulbound. There's no explanation needed for that. They are soulmates bound…
oh and if I did misread and misunderstand what you wrote then my apologies in advance.

I’m sorry but I don’t think a PhD is needed to understand “soulmates” so please don’t be condescending for us who may not agree with your level of education. not everyone can be served with relating to a storyline by just being told to understand a soulmate….and don’t assume others who don’t understand or relate as a no brainer. comprehension and understanding will always vary by individual. there is a better way to express your thoughts nicely so people can comprehend your highbrow mentality since my MBA doesn’t equate to you higher level of education. thank you and peace.

On Love Class Season 3 16 days ago
it’s my favorite of the Love Class series specially adding a multicultural component and using a real-life K-Pop group, the story is interesting to keep you pulled in though chemistry is lacking. my biggest issue is the stories are very focused on the pairs but the editing to compress in 30 minute shows makes the storyline choppy. as a result it is hard to relate to the couples, it’s like trying to root for them each episode but falls flat. they should follow the thai Bl model like Fourever You and focus on a pair.

Hey I feel it too. I dropped the series after 1 episode. I think they made great mistake switched the characters.…
I followed through with the series as it started well but I agree with you thoughts on this.

I liked the series so far and I do like these two actors, their bromance was amazing in High School Frenemy, don’t need the chemistry since it’s not a BL for me anyway. my issue since the dream sequence as I call it is the relationship felt forced, not evolved. maybe there should be more episodes to build their relationship and deep friendship. it’s almost sudden that they are best of friends and other than a string that ties them there was no history at all. that’s the part that lacks credibility. their acting is not the best for this series but blame heir roles. if there is no past how does one act as if there was one to build on a very deep friendship. for this kind of mystical storytelling I prefer Khemjira storyline.

I've been speculating that this is a simian-related disease that's why she was so frightened of them lmao
yes the reference to monkeys was a hint…our last simian epidemic was HIV but this looks like a fast acting virus like Ebola. makes sense but still leaves me with questions why or maybe they were isolated for a reason…TBD
