I watched this because of Dew primarily. I am drawn to him in spite of feeling his acting skills is not strong. He has this two-dimensional form of acting which I noticed in F4 and Burnout Syndrome. he’s very good in a very flat affect role but drawing out anger and deep emotions is hard to follow. yes he can get angry like any actor but he doesn’t draw me into his world. I am glad he has a diversified experience and not “ship” with another man or boy as that would be unfortunate. Look, you may not agree with me if your a big fan of Dew, I’m not saying he’s bad, there are some roles which he could stand out. Safe roles. On that note the script is i treating enough as a psychological thriller to keep me invested.

I was hoping more romance but on the final stretch I feel there’s not enough character development for the love story. or maybe it wasn’t suppose to be a love story.

for a show title Royal Bethrothal other than some light touching on the face and skins gliding I’m not sure who’s being betroth.

This is the Thai version of Romeo and Juliet…a love so intense and true, yet tragic. And a song that is so haunting and beautiful to match.

oh that engagement moment is golden. together they will just get stronger. loving the slow burn of the show from the beginning and reaching this point.

just the premise of a Prince and a former slave falling in love in a time when Thailand was going through drastic change already tells me where this is going. maybe it will have a happy ending but with so many series typically having their down saddest moments on the last third before ending in a high note I need a break. I decided to watch light thai and Japanese BL’s instead. don’t need all the gay drama hitting me all at once, life ain’t that bad. so…campus crush crisis sounds more promising.

I understand that part but for Meng to flatly go against him seems extraordinary. anyone else would have their heads cut off. The women appears strong but only be killed, almost raped, drugged. After 20 episodes when does change happen? maybe you know more about the story than I do.

I can’t believe it’s taking me 6 months to make it to episode 9. I’m so bored with it but I keep going back because once in a while I enjoy watching how they c*#k tease…the scene where he’s drawing and Mr top rubs his hard d*#k on his back made me laugh (because I had a similar experience). Then I’ll wait another month to watch episode 10.

indeed. it does get tiring. time for the brother to lose all his investment and the family learn their lesson but that’s fodder for prolonging the series.

I know for us watching VIKI this is several shows behind, I really liked this show but I’m getting tired of Meng going on her own and opposing the Emperor. I felt like the Emperor is powerless toward his subjects, against the chancellors and the censorate. maybe he will gain strength later and that’s too late. And the huxia gang should have been eradicated by now.

even before this Bo started rewatching Lichi Island” the movie is on Gagaoolala so it easier to watch the whole show

This show was so well written it’s hard to predict exactly where or how… and episode 13 was so difficult to watch…I had a feeling based on the conversation something was going to happen…it was done so beautifully but I wanted to deny myself the truth…I wanted to skip to the end and tell myself this was just a dream but I couldn’t do it…I felt like I too lost someone and keeping my feelings from exploding was tough and I sat quietly watching alone how this story unfolded. I ached and cried…its show a TV show, he’s just another character…no…I felt like we grew up together and I lost someone I love. Damn you Zelia…couldn’t you have written this differently…😭😭😭

It’s not as fast action as the first season but this season goes deeper and grabbing me emotionally. sadness. anger. hatred.

I ache for XF to grow his wings and free himself from the bondage of the Bei’s and his family. If he manipulated this relationship in the end with LQ then he’s no different from the rest of his parasitic family. Fly Icaru, fly but don’t get to close to the sun.
