Same! 😭 i don't know how many amount of time ive rewatched it and i still can't get over everything abt this series

the manga is not bad 😭 but yeah, I can't feel the romance and I felt like it was rushed after reading it and it didn't leave a long-lasting impression on me. I also can't even feel Minoru's admiration there which I feel more here in the live, the adaptation really exceeded my expectations

Ngl, I don't want to ignore some of the people who are saying that it has dry chemistry because tbh it is. But to be fair, as someone who has read the original, it was already as it is (lacking of chemistry), and the live adaptation even has a bit more chemistry than the original. But one thing that I can say is, it's perfectly captured the manga, and the LA is a lot better (for me).

I think the reason why the romance is dry is because it is not the main theme of the story and it really focuses on its family love storyline

Still can't get over it

It's more than 5 months since I've watched this and it still hurts me

No worries, the more viewers will reach this work and success of this series, and knowing that you love this show as much as we love this show is already a big return for me. Also, I did just annotate the previous subs from Viki, and the additional monologue was translated and refined by my moot Rei (@nanidanist) from twitter, this person was a really huge help to this whole project.

Yeah, saw some confuse with the timelines but yeah, if you will carefully look with the monologues and details, it was stated from last scene from ep 2 "there was once a time that I got scared from Koichi"

I'm excited for their comeback

I just finished watching the proper English subs from Gaga. I would rate it as 9.25/10. An honest personal opinion, I think what is keeping me from giving it a higher score was maybe I just wish I could feel the amnesia more from the story (like moments where Ritsu gradually remembers some from his past from time to time) also some of the dialogue, I think it could be improved more. (in short, it's just that I want more angst and drama, I guess). But other than that I really love the series overall. It's a beautiful story, and the acting, and chemistry are impressive. It's also not the type of ending that I'm expecting but somehow I still feel satisfied in the end

PS. I also prefer if they acknowledged their other mistakes not just the thing about the secret but also their shortcomings like if Fumiya addressed that he is too hot-headed and Ritsu that he really became complacent with their relationship
