Bevause this is the new Love Alarm Max Pro. And I wish I was kidding. This drama promissed so much and gave us…
We don’t review shows for the producers’ sake; we do it to prevent giving false hope to viewers who might think a drama is promising. The goal is to share the truth and help people avoid wasting their time. Ultimately, it is up to each individual to decide whether to watch or not. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and is free to share them. However, rating a show an 8.3 when it is worse than "Love Alarm" is simply criminal.
Sorry to say but what can we do ....this drama is already trending
The only thing we can do is write reviews to manage the expectations of those who think the drama is promising. The trailers were really misleading, so we need to provide honest feedback. There’s no way this drama deserves an 8.3 rating; it should be rated at most a 6.
The problem is not about her figuring things out with the SML; it's really about the number of episodes and the amount of screen time it takes to do so. What do you mean we are at episode 9 and he has been here since episode 3? The main plot revolves around navigating life and career while managing the challenges of being new parents. So yes, it feels like it's taking too much time and is executed poorly.
Can we talk about how illogical it is for a drama with so much potential to include a CEO/tea manager, AKA rich man, in the storyline that has known FL since college... It could have been someone simple... like a simple worker in the company, but the rich team manager trope is so dragging... Lord, I hate this love triangle
second male lead has to be a nepo baby or related to production why tf is he taking over the drama????? him and…
I didn't want to say this because I didn't want to get jumped, but you're absolutely right. Every time I see this guy in a drama, he brings nothing to the table yet keeps getting cast in good roles. I’m sure he has connections. No hate toward him; I'm just trying to figure out how it's normal for this guy to have so much screen time.
Honestly, I had some expectations for this drama because the concept seemed fresh and original. However, those expectations quickly faded when I realized the main focus of the drama was the love triangle trope. It's disappointing to see a lack of imagination and originality, especially when artists should strive to create something different rather than just chasing fame or success.
I don't want to be dramatic, but for years, watching dramas, movies, and reading books have been my refuge whenever I wanted to escape school, workloads, and responsibilities. I remember when producers and authors managed to create something incredible out of very little; when the budget wasn't solely spent on casting visually appealing actors but on talented individuals. It’s hard to understand how it’s now acceptable to compromise the essence of the main story for an unnecessary love triangle.
Yes, I understand that the drama is about two young adults navigating life and finding themselves. However, they suddenly have to take on the role of "parents" as they adjust to welcoming their nephew into their lives. In the midst of that, there is love. And yes, love is complicated... The FL confronts her first love and must navigate those emotions. What I don't understand is WHY ON EARTH the SML gets so much screen time for insignificant moments. This indicates poor direction from the drama’s directors and producers.
They could have conveyed the message they intended with the second male lead in just 2 episodes AT MOST. As if that weren't enough, there's also the father trope, which could have been interesting but was poorly managed (so far).
So far, I'm disappointed, and frankly speaking, I would rate it a 3 out of 10. Why a 3? Because they attempted to introduce a new concept but ultimately failed. Not to mention, the AI-generated intro threw me off completely. We are truly losing the art of creation, and I'm starting to believe that the film industry is no longer pursuing passion but rather fame and success, which is a real shame.
Just started this drama and I'm currently at the beginning of ep 6, and I must say: the FL English was WOW From years of watching cdramas/k-dramas the English parts sometimes make me cringe (Keeping in mind that even I, myself, first language isn't English), and when you finally find some actors with impeccable English, it's just refreshing
I did my research and found out that she actually did her studies in the UK, which explains her mastery in English
As a neuroscience major with an exam coming in a week about retrograde amnesia... THIS COMPLETELY DESTROYED ME... I watched this to de-stress before the finals and, ironically, tested my knowledge for the exams. ALL THIS WHILE, I WAS COMPLETELY HEARTBROKEN BY THE ENDING.
This was such a beautiful movie, and it pleads for how amazing yet mysterious life is. I'm IN LOVE with this movie... lately I was feeling down because I kinda lost myself in my major and kinda questioned my choice, but this movie made me realize why I'm pursuing this branch. THANK YOU for this masterpiece. Yet my heart is broken, and I have cried a river.
Extra long solar panel advert.. that’s hit the nail bang on. Also heavy local tourism promotion.. - when it’s…
So happy to see that I'm not the only one to see those hyper direct propagandas! They were so intense and clumsy.... like WE GET IT you love your country and it is the best😭💀
Thanks to everyone who persuaded me to watch the entire show!
At first, I was skeptical. I didn't completely understand where it would go, but after 10 episodes, I got the hang of it.
There is so much to say about this show, but at the same time, I can't seem to find the right wording.
It is fair to say that this show was INCREDIBLE. The way they depicted love is just- WOW... Never in my life have I been able to describe in the correct words the way I perceive love between 2 people... The words never seem to be right. In this drama, Love was shown so well to the point it kinda made me depressed (cause I really doubt that guys like Li Yusen exist). It gave me de same depression (In a good way, may I say) as The First Frost, WIFTY, Hidden Love and The Best Thing.
It was definitely worth the time! 8.7/10 (Only because it was a bit long and clumsy sometimes, but otherwise AMAZING drama)
I'm at episode 4, and I can't believe that the ML spoke like 3 times at max with the LOWEST screen time that history has known.... since there are 36 episodes, I presume he'll eventually speak.
I kinda find it scary how, after the accident, the man is all mysterious and smells ''villain and danger'' in some sense.... It feels like he's resenting the FL for what happened to him ( I think he lost his surgeon career). I can smell all the miscommunication and misunderstanding from MILES AWAY ( and honestly, I don't know how I feel about it, **proceed to roll my eyes dramatically while violently ripping my hair out of frustration**
I could totally be wrong with my predictions, but this is how I feel (with all the experience I have in watching dramas)
