If we're just talking about looks, I preferred Original Pi anyway. The "makeover" was a downgrade. :P
See ? :) That's what I'm saying, there is always someone who's going to like your real style. I have a female friend like her, not a scientist, but in terms of style, pretty similar. Her bf loves her just like that.
I totally enjoyed this drama but I was quite disappointed in Pi's evolution due to the underlying message. I'm into makeup and style, but she's a "comfy nerdy" girl, the type who is not into fashion and makeup, and dresses comfortably. And there is nothing wrong with that! She was never "repulsive" / undatable. There are girls like her who date and get married. So why couldn't they keep her as she was and still date Baek Gyun? Sure people can change a bit, but so much for one person's attention (she asked him out after the makeover) ? There is a strong message here : She had to change her hair, style of dress, wear heels and contacts to finally "deserve" a man's attention. Had it been one thing, then I wouldn't mind, but her whole image was changed for her to date. Meanwhile Baek Gyun and Hoktal didn't have to change a frigging thing about their nerdy self, to get a girl. Can we say double standards ?
The ratings dropped dramatically WOW! I don't even know if I've dropped it yet, all I know is that I've been focusing on Money Flower and I'm Not A Robot lately so I may have missed 2 weeks of the show. Still debating on whether I should watch it again or not though...
Struggling with Sandara's acting. SIGH. I selected this drama for Kim Young Kwan, and though it was short I had to drop it. I was irritated by epi 5. Sandara can't cry to save her life. This drama has a few qualities (cinematography, theme of pyschology, KYK), but Dara is really bad. She can’t act, sorry. My only wish is that KYK or his manager stops choosing average projects when he has such great potential. I just dropped it and I'm pissed off LOL!
TAE HWAN-EEEEEEE!!! Why oh why? I thought he was in his 30s due to his role in My Golden Life, he does look older but in a good way, because he's tall, has a manly voice and a very mature face. There goes my oppa fantasy TT
I'm always getting scared easily, I can't watch horror movies and stuff like that at all... I like criminals tho...…

I have NO IDEA how this drama is considered so "great". I struggled the whole time I watched it and dropped it at episode 5. Goodness. All the actors are actually good, but the character development ? FFS why is this girl so dumb at her age ? Why is the Kim Young Kwang's role (I think Tae Ho ? That tall dude) so impassible and "too cool for his shoes" to the point that nothing seems to affect him ? I mean the whole thing annoyed me, I gave it a try for Kim Young Kwang but couldn't be bothered.
Dong Ha and Chae Soo Bin are definitely great underrated actors.
Edit : uhhh they should add "blood" to the genres. Couldn't finish epi 2. Moving on LOL!
