The idea, the theme is good, but unfortunately a bit incomplete, so I had to lower my rating. The currency of the series is the environment, the effort to find the right and most beautiful true feeling in the world and the fact that the actors, although almost unloved by acting, managed it decently and were very likeable (David, Simon, Vince). Among the little things that didn't bother the creators, but will surprise many viewers, was, for example, the fact that after two days on the island, when he ran around the beach screaming "help" for almost an entire episode, David wasn't thirsty, which in the harsh Philippine sun would have already done his (he was hungry) that after a few days on the island with Simon, they didn't grow beards, nails, etc. But the positives outweighed the little things, hence my slightly above average rating.

Devizou seriálku je prostředí, snaha najít ten správný a nejkrásnější pravý cit na světě a to, že herci, ať téměř nepolíbení herectvím, to zvládli slušně a byli velmi sympatičtí (David, Simon, Vince). Z těch drobností, které tvůrce nepálily, ale mnohého diváka zarazí, bylo například to, že po dvou dnech na ostrově, kdy s křikem "pomoc" pobíhal téměř celý jeden díl po pláži, neměl David žízeň, což na ostrém filipínském slunci by už udělalo své (měl hlad), že po několikadenním pobytu na ostrově se Simonem jim nedorostly vousy, nehty atd. Ale klady převážily drobnosti, proto mé slabě nadprůměrné hodnocení.

It's definitely not a BL, but a proper drama where the main character Li Qing, nicknamed A Qing (phonetically A-cin,A-sin) goes through life's hell of disintegration and death in the family, so that he is expelled from school, and finally his father leaves for his homosexuality from home. Real gay life at the time, slow pace, pain, heartbreak, loneliness, several main characters.
Don't expect much intimacy, even though it's a 100% gay series, the treatment is due to the era and TV broadcast.
STORY - stunning above all in how it captures the state of society at the time and the position of homosexuals.
ACTING - very solid, young actors and older ones, I felt a complete connection with the characters and the story in most of them. I recommend studying the story and especially the characters in advance, it will be easier to navigate the series.
SOUND - although the reviews on the world servers praise the music, it didn't affect me that much, and rather the constant parts of mainly cello, sometimes violin and piano were annoying because they were so often (everything is too bad), just every now and then, but I don't blame it, it's just my impression and I respect the intent of the creators.
PROCESSING - at a very decent level for the time and I won't lower the rating for the poor quality of the copies.


Televizní seriál z roku 2003 a popisující situaci na Taiwanu v 70. letech (příběh v knižní předloze začíná už v 60. letech) mě velmi zaujal, ač kvalita kopií je špatná a není dokončen překlad - nevadí. Určitě to není BL, ale pořádné drama, kde si hlavní hrdina Li Qing, přezdívaný A Qing (foneticky A-cin,A-sin) prožije životní peklo rozpadu a úmrtí v rodině, aby jej vyloučili ze školy a nakonec i otec vyrazil pro jeho homosexualitu z domu. Reálný život gayů v té době, pomalé tempo, bolest, zármutek, osamělost, několik hlavních postav.
Nečekejte velkou intimitu, i když je to seriál 100% gay, zpracování je poplatné tehdejší době a TV vysílání.
PŘÍBĚH - ohromující především v tom, jak zachycuje tehdejší stav společnosti a postavení homosexuálů.
HERECTVÍ - velmi solidní, mladí herci i starší, vnímal jsem u většiny naprosté spojení s postavami a příběhem. Doporučuji příběh a hlavně postavy dopředu nastudovat, orientace v seriálu bude potom snadnější.
ZVUK - ač recenze na světových serverech opěvují hudbu, mě až tak moc nezasáhla a spíše ty neustálé party především violoncella, někdy houslí a klavíru byly až otravné v tom, jak byly často (všeho moc škodí), prostě každou chvíli, ale nevyčítám to, je to jen můj dojem a ctím záměr tvůrců.
ZPRACOVÁNÍ - na velmi slušné úrovni tehdejší doby a nebudu přeci snižovat hodnocení za špatnou kvalitu kopíí.

In the opening photo it looks like they are playing teenagers, but it's a story about adults. Tento oceněný japonský film, natočený zčásti dle mangy, je pořádný záhul do nezměrných hlubin lidské duše, lidských osudů a naprosté spletitosti vztahů a sexuální orientace. Tak hodnotný snímek pro vykreslení těchto vlastností s gay tematikou jsem ještě neviděl. Ano, nemusí se třeba některým méně vnímavým divákům nebo těm, co si nedokážou příběh poskládat a uvědomit si souvislosti, líbit natolik jako mě, ale myslím, že těm, kteří se vcítí do příběhu přes své vlastní životní zkušenosti, bude sedět jak prdel na hrnec.

Temný, drsný, reálný film 18+ se mi vryl do nitra a přes veškerá kritéria hodnocení pro mě 10 se mi nejvíce líbily herecky hlavní dvě postavy. Na úvodní fotce to vypadá, jako že hrají náctiletí, ale je to příběh o dospělcích. V době natáčení 34 letý zpěvák a herec Okura Tadayoshi a 26 letý model a herec Narita Ryo, který mě naprosto dostal tím, jak ztvárnil postavu Imagase, kterou jsem zezačátku vnímal spíše antagonně (najít sebe sama, mít odvahu přijmout to, kým ve skutečnosti jsem, bojovat předem prohraný boj o lásku svého života a případně přijmout prohru ...), ale kdoví ... více neprozradím.

Film zvítězil v různých kategoriích na filmových festivalech v Udine, Helsinkách, New Yorku, Madridu, Tel Avivu, Lisabonu, Berlíně, Quezon City a v Kolíně nad Rýnem.

I enjoyed the version with sk subtitles from ŠK and I must say that the series belongs to the narrow top of the best.
As Extasy writes, beautiful Thai girls also star in the series this time. Vychutnal jsem si verzi s sk titulky od ŠK a musím říci, že seriál patří do užší špičky těch nejlepších.
Jak píše Extasy, v seriálu hrají tentokráte i krásné thajské dívky. Tvůrci vsadili na fyzično - dva herce s krásnými vysportovanými svalnatými postavami (oba nyní hrají hlavní role v novém seriálu Manner Of Death). Mělo to děj, škola byla téměř potlačena, objevily se i dospější problémy (příběhy), dospělejší herci (Bright, Kavitra). Tvůrci se nebáli herce sem tam i obnažit. Vzájemné pouto mezi Kornem a Knockem bylo cítit, ale hodně jsem vnímal i to, že herci hlavních rolí byli heteráci každým coulem, především neohrabaný (v tom dobrém slova smyslu) Korn, který mohl jít z fleku se svou postavou jít dělat trenéra do posilovny. Zapamatovatelné postavy tetovaného Phubeta, mrchy Pleng, lékařem svedeného Pharma a další. Jako celek výborný zážitek.
Škoda jen, že série spojené s touto - Bad Romance a Together With Me:The Next Chapter nejsou přeloženy do cz nebo sk pro širší množinu diváků, možná je to tím, že tyto seriály vyšly jen s eng hard sub.

Asi dvě scény ve filmu, aby to nemátlo, jsou jen "představy" Franka, co by s Brentem v posteli dělal, neboť Brent je heterák a z rozhlasového vysílání vyplývá, že se zrovna pootáčí po nějaké šikovné dámské partii.
Zápory hledat nebudu, na tom si smlsnou ti, kteří si potřebují promasírovat své pošramocené ego tady a z kladů filmu vyzdvihuji, že tvůrci chtěli ukázat na problematiku fanatismu do "hvězd", které jsou stejně obyčejnými lidmi jako ostatní, stalkingu, které může vést až ke kriminálním činům, dozvíte se více i o příbytcích chudších Filipínců, ne spíše jen "pozlátko", které známe z BL seriálů a filmů ...

Do okamžiku, kdy se "to stalo" mě seriál nijak nezaujal. Strojenost, prkennost, mluvící hlavy náměsíčně chodící. Tak to na mě zapůsobilo, i když vím, co tím chtěli tvůrci říci. Posléze mírný šok ze zvratu, který jsem nečekal a zbytek netřeba ode mě psát, neboť obě recenze pode mnou, i když jsou odlišné, mají zčásti pravdu a přiznám se, že už další seriál s tímto námětem bych z Thajska nechtěl vidět, neboť čučet na seriál, kde se úplně na konci stane to, co se stalo, je pro mě ztráta času.

It was a big disappointment for me that my "darling" - Hyun Jun - is no longer playing in the second series. I was hesitant to even watch. Fortunately, Se Hyun appeared there and with the help of this Korean symposium I watched, because the second main character Yeon Woo didn't really get under my nose with his bobbed hair and long Asian "claws". The story was very rushed and contrived, it kept reminding me that it was fictional and I also missed a larger percentage of the BL relationship between the main characters, which was caught up in the last episode with the "dead fish" kiss. Vztah dvou lidí, přátelství, zamilovanost, láska, spoluzávislost, byly podány jemně a v úhlu jednoho z mysteriozních pohledů a bylo oživením. Dle mě to není v žádném případě podprůměrný "šedý" BL seriál, ale je to malý klenot, který zintenzivnil a prozářil barvy v mé duši. Škola tam sice byla, ale byla upozaděná, jen jako prostředek k rozvinutí děje. Také příběh se věnoval oběma mladíkům a neodbíhal do zbytečných zdržovaček. Oba hlavní hrdinové podali pěkné výkony, oslovil mě především dvacetiletý zpěvák, model a herec Heo Hyun Jun v roli Yeonova "probeho" Yo Hana. Hodnocení: 8 8 10 10

COLOR RUSH 2:
Zklamáním bylo pro mě velkým, že v druhé sérii už nehraje můj "miláček" - Hyun Jun. Váhal jsem, zda se budu vůbec dívat. Naštěstí se tam objevil Se Hyun a za pomoci tohoto korejského sympoše jsem se dodíval, neboť druhý hlavní hrdina Yeon Woo mi pod nos moc nelezl se svými vlasy na prcinku a dlouhými asijskými "drápy". Příběh byl moc ukvapený a vyumělkovaný, stále mi to připomínalo, že to je smyšlené a chybělo mi tam i větší procento BL vztahu mezi hlavními hrdiny, které bylo dohnáno v posledním díle polibkem "mrtvých ryb".
