Korejský seriál ze sportovního prostředí s výbornými sk tit od Škaredého Káčatka, který byl vyroben i jako celovečerní film (ten zde máme též s cz tit od monvi-ho), jistě každému divákovi vykouzlí dobrou náladu. Příběh byl pojat komediálně a Sang Ha se na můj vkus vnucoval a podlézal Jin Wonovi až moc a rušily mě v některých scénách ty příšerné řvavé klavíry. Naopak příjemné písně dobarvily jiné scény, vyzdvihnout je třeba to, že Hang bojoval s těžkým životním osudem (doslova bojoval o přežití), a přitom dokázal ještě i milovat a závěrečný polibek byl tak akorát (ani nedýchající štítivé ryby, ani nic přehnaného, čemu by zase divák nevěřil). Příjemné zpestření.

On March 24, 2022, I played the short again with sk subtitles and I definitely have to increase the value of the picture. Such a little gem, actually a PEARL, not a pure romance for a below-average 3.8 - but for me it's straight up a ten, wonderful including the fact that the ending is "finally" as it is. Beautifully played.

I watched again because the music was a powerful storyteller, perhaps greater than the dancing skills of the individual protagonists. Asian concept ... if they had masks, I wouldn't recognize them as being from China. Different, different from tons of other shorts. I'm raising the rating. Damn, that music got me...
Maybe I was looking for even more depth in this original, almost unique Chinese short than it has. Or am i wrong?

Apart from the fact that a bunch of censors end up rejecting this film within a film, we can as always squirm with half-naked and naked men on stage, who look more like caterpillars in a death throes. I rate from the point of view of older pinoy movies.

Decide to meet fate just the two of them? Both have already decided to look socially "tolerable" for relationships with women, but true love is here, between them. Neither of them belong to the Filipino poor, JP has a shop and William is moving to Australia. Or that JP would move in with him?
The film is originally 75 minutes long. The copy on YT is "only" 60 minutes long - did the hand of the censor intervene? But I rate the original film and the actors. Where the full 75 min is is a mystery to me, but if you watch other copies and not the shortened one on YT, these lines contain the cut scenes. But it's more about the beauty of the male body, erotically, don't expect any porn, which adds even more value to the film.

I like historical Chinese films
I like historical Chinese films, spiced with a mystical and even fairy tale story and spiced with subtle BL relationships between the men of that time, and I want to thank you for the translation into Slovak. Here at gaytitulky.info, several such films are listed (China, Korea), but Han Zi Gao's film The Male Queen and The Untamed with a rating of 9.1 on MDL are missing here. Mermaid's Jade even boasts some minor BL scenes that I didn't even count on, apparently it got past Chinese censorship as a relationship between a minister and a mermaid (but it was a mermaid ha ha). Good acting, story a little rushed (but I don't mind at all) and a surprise ending that no one expects, with beautiful music and you can kind of guess the ending or rethink the story, which for me was the most amazing ending. For me, very beautiful, deep and I would like to watch it again sometime.Was this review helpful to you?

This Pinoy film is a bit different from the usual scheme of gay films from this East Asian archipelago. No poverty this time.And I can have a rather sugary Filipino pink gay book once in a while. I can look at a picture with a very simple story through Asian eyes and not be a critical European. But the end of the film is certain.
For the incidentally very decent processing (camera, editing), I deducted three out of ten points for the "shower" scenes, when the men were constantly showering in their briefs, while the Philippines is completely natural when it comes to eroticism and sex, a bit rougher erotic scenes and "fish" the kissing scene between Manny and Levi (fishy means when a straight actor is not capable of "normal" kissing with another man and just puckers his lips forward like a carp on dry land).
Overall, I'm happy with the pinoy fairy tale...

I have to say that this short erotic film had only an average effect on me. It's not so much about the erotic scenes (or soft) as it is about the beauty of the male body and its partly artistic rendering of its presentation - in this case in the East Asian type of physique and processing. Nike from the 180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us here in this series plays the character Jack, a shouted hidden gay, which both of the marital couple from the neighborhood, beautiful Aimee in the role of Tai and no less attractive Sympoš Boy as Palma. It was Palm and Tai that seemed to me the best in this series. The funny thing was that whatever the two men did (they grabbed their hand or wanted to kiss), always appeared in the door, window or room Palm's older son, even though it had its reasons and the older son also played it too Solidly. Overall, the plot, the plot was slightly dragged than other Club Friday series with LGBTQ+ themes, but satisfaction and most importantly .... Brutaly real
A two-and-a-half-hour Filipino film, and it's a blast. Anyone who likes dramatic stories will find something to their liking. And also an excellent concert of well-known Filipino actors (and very nice!!) in the main roles ... and in general, the first part - the prison part - was played very well by the other actors. Cruel, raw, real. Dirt, betrayal, violence. Friendship, feeling, tenderness, love. Dismemberment, death, hatred. So much goes into few films, only the child victims bothered me there, and therefore a step lower than the highest rating ... Very good, Rommel (Sid Lucero) and Esteban (Emilio Garcia) ... the film is absolutely BRUTALLY REAL, portrays life without embellishments in this island nation, which is also a Christian island in a sea of Islam and Buddhism, and that just got me, even though I'm more of a lover of romance and non-violence. And the fact that the film lacks a higher meaning is something we who want to understand Asian or Pinoy productions have to get used to, that's just the way it is ...Was this review helpful to you?
One of my favorite Pinoy movies
One of my favorite Pinoy movies, it has plot, tension and it doesn't even have to be the highest rating of all to make a person, if they are tuned to such a chord, hit and remember the movie.And even though it is a drama, the nicest feeling in the world is nicely portrayed here, nice music and it seems that this director makes above average movies in the flood of gay and bi pictures from this corner of the world.
The piece is shot with the famous light Asian naivety and that makes it more acceptable for me, I recommend it to a narrower group of those who like gay Pinoy movies.

Beautiful experience!
I enjoyed the last episode of this series and I can say that the positive impressions outweighed me in the evaluation - beautiful main song by Jeff Satur and countless variations of the melodic line of the song during some scenes and very well played both main characters performed by young likeable actors Chapa and Green (who literally charmed me with his nature and the way he falls in love with the character of Nawee), also in the kissing scenes, finally the Thais proved that they can only want it from the creators. These impressions completely lagged the minor shortcomings, the accelerated story, and the need to realize that Nawee's character is mentally ill and not scolding and condemning her, like many on other world servers, to go with the "crowd." Very nice experience and I hope that Chapa and Green will ever see each other again (they shot a series of 12 nano-episodes Chapter of Green 2021 together in the total length of the series 11 min (!), But that can not be considered a series.Was this review helpful to you?
A beautiful inner experience.
For me, it's not a movie called Balloon Landing, but it will always be Bay of the Vanishing Whales, and when I watched it for the first time, only the second half of the film made everything clear, and then when I watch the project for the second time, I perceive everything from a different angle. The Japanese film Dangerous Drugs of Sex, where there are explicit sex scenes, is completely different, like this fantasy film with only one random kiss, where everything is on the level of the inner character and the viewer, but still both films have something in common ... first they save each other, so that in the end the second one saves the first one. For some viewers, and they write about it on world servers, it's not BL just because they don't fuck and there are no bed scenes, for me and many others it's a deep and inner film about two wounded beings and hidden homosexuality (I don't see it only as a bromance), because love has many forms and it's practically on the same wavelength as the Taiwanese project The On1y One, where there's also no physical contact. Excellent acting, beautiful scenery of southern Taiwan and modern Hong Kong, a handkerchief at the end and I will return to the film... and an amazing fresh spark in the form of actor Fandy Fan and a great performance by Hong Konger Terrance Lau.
