Well, just another demonstration of what greed can do to people... After ep 15 I did expect what happened to Taeyun but he didn't deserve it not one bit, he was the only genuinely good, not interested in the fight for power and money character :/. I do get why Dongju had to leave for a while, he needed to heal from everything he went through since he was just a kid, so I'm glad he and Eunnam were still distanced and the writers didn't force their relationship in the finale. Overall I enjoyed this drama and especially PHS acting, but the ending was not as intense as I had expected.
I don't know who wrote this story but for me it didn't make sense. Why would a fully grown Han Jipyeong look for the "real" Dosan when he was the one writing those letters? Why not tell her the truth from the beginning and act like a mature man? They both deceived her and Dosan acts very immature, I don't like him as a ML 🫤. I thought Kim Seonho's character was the real deal but no. I feel like the script could've been so much better
I don't know, I didn't feel chemistry between her and Cha Eunwoo and I enjoyed True beauty a lot (manhwa was better but she played well the role of Jugyeong). It's more like a script problem. For example how can the whole issue with his grandma be resolved in 5 minutes after a few words? It doesn't seem believable after decades of mistreating him
I had high expectations for this drama when I first heard about it but although I enjoyed it, it was not as good as I had expected it to be. I love both leads in other projects but I feel like the plot here was missing something 🤔
