this show is so predictable honestly im just gonna place my bets on who's gonna die now and the consequences of it.
like so far both the female leads have motives to murder so the dead ppl will be the tutor and the head maid and during investigation or maybe thru the nun (since both the FLs go to her for therapy) they're secrets will slowly be unraveled.
i wish kim seohyung had more screentime thou ;; they focus too much on the affair storyline even the kids being side characters get more screentime

ik ik the dude is so self-absorbed i mean hes in his twenties theres no way he doesnt know how much trouble the girl can get into for this and ignored it even after she told him. i thought they were cute at first but now hes just getting on my nerves.

why r screenwriters so obsessed with making the birth mother/adoptive mother a conflict like its really not. ur mother is the woman who raises u its as simple as that

i get why honestly i just finished this season dnsjkfndsk but i think yuri's desire to get rid of nanno comes from the fact nanno knows she isnt anyone innocent and will eventually judge her. nanno knows everything about her but she knows nothing and on top of that she knows nanno's the type that leaves ppl be till she thinks its time they pay for what they did so to yuri nanno probably felt like a ticking bomb

also i think a lot of ppl who r complaining seem to have forgotten the first season. gfn wasn't about nanno bringing justice to wrongdoers or perpetrators, it was about her twisting ppl into the ugliest versions of themselves and then punishing them for having turned out that way. many of them were perfectly normal, and its true she didn't force their hand on anything they made their own decisions, but without her interference they really would have lived completely normal lives as possibly good ppl.

its bc they gave into her temptations, they fell down a rabbit hole they had no way out of, where nanno made them suffer for the rest of their lives and she did all this not for any sense of justice but bc she Enjoyed it. that's who nanno is. she does this to entertain herself with a little sense of worry towards victims. yuri doesn't care about victims at all she only cares about punishing evil ppl as fast and as cruelly as possible. bc she's so hasty, unlike nanno, she requires sacrifices nanno wouldn't have made. she isnt a good person, but really neither is nanno, they both do this bc they enjoy making and watching ppl suffer but yuri's cutthroat technique brought out nanno's own humanity in contrast. they were foils to each other, one patient and one not, one relatively more merciful other not, one preferring slow torture and madness and the other wanting to see immediate blood.

they really do have a lot of chemistry thou i think if they did a s3 and added romance to yuri/nanno's plotline it'd work out beautifully. they're both evil but sentient beings and they push but also balance each other. also they just look good together. i think if ppl watched this show keeping this ship in mind instead of worrying about yuri replacing nanno or some rivalry they'd enjoy this season thoroughly, far more than the last season.

why does everyone hate yuri or worry she's a replacement for nanno i personally ship them like hello?? two immortal demons in an age old rivalry turned lovers? i'd love to see that instead

mouse completely relies on a heavy suspension of believes bc do u really think someone would murder an entire family for some fucking cult organization?? if they were going to do this shit they could have hinted at it more from the start bc it seems out of nowhere and is just such a sloppy plotline why. the writer is so sloppy its really a chore for me to finish this i want to drop it but im also curious about how they'll end things with bareum but really this whole thing is so stupid even if they are lab rats or whatever why would these assholes watch bareum murder all these ppl why was bareum so smart he tracked down the boxer by the childhood memory of his blurry face alone but didn't find out he was being followed or didnt look into those ppl until now how does any of this make sense?

this entire show seems like a joke on the suspense thriller genre bc one there isnt any thriller anymore its just boring and two?? suspense isnt bringing up weird plotlines every other ep its carrying out one well thought out, smoothly executed plotline and mouse just seems all over the place. giving it a 6/10 also would only be bc the first 8 eps really were good it just went downhill from there.

bongyi makes me wanna smack her face so what if hongju had a killer's child so fucking what if she's raising that kid it's her own baby its her own life who's to say he'll definitely be a killer even if his father was. the way ppl were going about it made me mad but bongyi made me madder bc she Knew hongju this is making me so mad. the whole dont be mad at hongju for raising her OWN son bc the father might not be a killer instead of no one has the rights to tell her anything bc its HER baby it isnt just yohan's or yohan's at all for that matter he's dead now.

you don't need to apologize for that omg dnjksnks and YEAH yeah like vincenzo's made me want to smash his head into a wall so many times thru out the show not just this scene but this takes the cake. like no matter how i think about it it was just terrible writing like they were trying to force hanseo's death. i think like it was the writer's decision to make it seem like a befitting ending for him for his 'crimes' but again it was such a stupid decision on the writer's part bc hanseo was the one person who could and was Willing to correct all the wrongs done under babel he was the character set up perfectly for redemption but killing his character made it the ending hypocritical. it was either a poor choice on the writer's part or they were trying to make it 'realistic' by killing someone or they simply didn't like hanseo.

i think it made his character arc v anticlimatic actually since he died the hands of his ass brother for someone he's truly started to consider family but that man didn't even seem to care. they shouldn't have given him a proper redemption arc in that case should have just let hanseo follow vincenzo to save his life and not bc he regarded him a brother bc now it seems like a waste

oh ik the dongsaeng bit i understand that much korean fdsjkfnks but yeah what really kicked me was how indifferent ppl were to his death and how it was completely brushed aside that was Harsh

also. i think we're past the point where we act like a drama having little to no romance makes it superior please fnjdsknsk personally, i hate it too when they digress from the main plot and focus heavily on the romance bc then both the plot and the chemistry btw the characters become lackluster but. a romance like other relationships is smth - if well written and executed - that can be beautiful and can make the plot a lot more meaningful so. i really wish ppl would just stop saying a show is good for its lack of romance that isn't the praise u think it is.

its bc the actor's only 24 fnkdsjnsk but true i do get how hanseo's death was kind of befitting. but like. for the leads. both chayoung and vincenzo weren't good ppl either and so by doing this - for chayoung esp - it was like a redemption arc. i just think he deserved one too, he deserved to live and right his wrongs.
but you know, i wouldn't even be upset for his death at all if they didn't make vincenzo so indifferent to it. i wanted to see vincenzo mourn his loss, if only for a small scene but they didn't give us that at all which made his death seem meaningless it was cruel.

his wrong was negligence he turned a blind eye to everything bc of his fear of his brother. he'd never been a bad person from the start he just did everything his brother told him to bc of how much he was abused by him, bc of how he saw him kill their father. he was wrong yes, and he was Selfish bc he did it all to save his life. so in a way this ending was like his ultimate redemption, where after every wrong he'd done to save his skin, he did one right to protect someone else. it was kind of befitting, but it was still unfair, bc hanseo had changed the minute he'd accepted vincenzo as his big brother, so i think taking a bullet was enough.
see, i think it's unfair bc out of the 4, he was the only one who wasn't truly evil or selfish he was just a stupid coward. and he was the only one who'd truly changed. he deserved a chance to live a new, a better life that he spent repenting his sins by correcting all his wrongs, but he was killed instead.

REALLY! like in that scene itself maybe it was understandable since they weren't as close and vincenzo was far more attached to chayoung. but later on at least we could have seen him reminiscing or mourning his loss? it really felt like the poor guy died for nothing that was so mean.
he told hanseo in his last moments that he was deserving to be his brother and i really wish he meant it but i'm not sure he did since the writer's made vincenzo to be an unrepentant character. like i can totally believe he just said it in the moment to placate hanseo but i WISH he hadn't i wish he did bc he was genuinely fond of him bc he'd genuinely started to consider him his little brother. a scene at the end where when vincenzo makes the trip to sk he doesn't just see chayoung but also goes to visit his mother's and hanseo's graves. smth so we know where hanseo was buried at least, that vincenzo wanted him buried next to his mom bc now he considered him family.
