omg. what is this? I just start the epi 15 and now I am so confused. how can the one who had killed the father…
If you watched ep. 15 then watch Mouse special, the predator (only the first episode). It’s explained in detail there. If after watching this you have any questions, comment and I will answer.
The writer of Mouse (Choi Ran) hinted in her other drama, Black (2017) that she will release Mouse. Here are the easter eggs of Mouse I found in drama Black:
I just finished watching Ep 1 - and have not yet read the spoilers. But why does my intuition says the kids have…
Idk if I should answer you or not. In the first episode we see the family of one of the 2 kids though. Keep your theory in mind and you will see in the next episodes 😉
Hey @Jeorin! I have been putting off watching Mouse cause I saw that it has a lot of side-stories as well. But…
Your description about jigsaw puzzle is very accurate. Mouse is a drama that gives you parts of the truth, little by little. Thus, if you draw a conclusion without having the whole truth, it will be wrong. You need all the pieces to figure it out (or to read spoilers 🤣).
I’m glad I help you to understand what this drama is about with my review. I hope you will enjoy reading the spoiler part as well.☺️☺️
Military is such a scary and awful place. The issue with mandatory service (I understand that for Korean it's…
Very very well said 💯💯
I don’t agree with the mandatory service, but unfortunately is needed because you’ll never know where the humanity will be headed. What would be great is if the soldier had accurate psychometric tests before the enlistment and close psychological monitoring throughout their military service time.
Your personal mindset plays very important role too yes. A military service of a small amount of time isn’t something that can be bearable. But you can’t be become a permanent member of the military for sure.
You can see the military service as an exercise of how to be leaded and how to lead (because you’ll do both in the military). I the future you may come across a situation where you’ll have to lead a crowd away from a danger (as the only capable) or you’ll be in a accident and you’ll have to quickly follow the doctor’s orders in order to save someone else or to survive yourself. Now you’ll tell me that you can do this without going to military, well you as Kate, I believe yes, but in general… 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
I think D.P. shows quite well how psychologically devastating the military service can be for someone who does not posses the needed traits and motivations to be there... <— INDEED IT DOES
it’s somehow predictable but overall, the drama is entertaining < I feel like it's the case with many shows.…
As long as the predictable story is well presented, it can easily be entertaining.<— Exactly. Sometimes we don’t want to watch something unique or unpredictable, but a cliche we have watched a million times be written right while being perfectly executed. And as you said, when the plot is a mess, you can’t easily focus and appreciate something else so a good action show is the one that makes you love it for its thrilling action scenes and not (always) for its story. If you find a action drama with amazing/unique story and top notch action scenes, then congrats, you found a rare gem. My Name is a good action drama, but not a rare gem.
it will punch you in the stomach without any pity for 10 hours straight. < spot on description. About the cases…
Thank you very much Kate 😍🥰
For me not all the stories be in the same “level” was a good thing as well. I believe though that this might not like to the watchers who want all the cases to be as intense as the first one so I thought that I had to highlight this fact 🤔
I never had thought it that way, that’s a very good point. Aesthetic cinematography and visual suits more in dramas that have a more “poetic” plot or/and are psychologically driven. I think that was one of the problems I had with Bloody Heart. Sometimes the artistic shot scenes were perfect and sometimes the felt off and dragging.
As my best friend once said “that’s such a good review for a not so good drama” . I’ve watch until the muddle and I think you described the main issues perfectly. For some reason, this period in k-dramaland the side couples have way much better chemistry and interesting storyline than the main. The problem is general 🤣🤣 I don’t think I’ll continue watching this one, but ai really want to see these “breaking the 4th wall” scenes you mentioned.
Even though the characters said that Ba Reum’s good self was just because he had Yo Han’s brain, did anyone…
I 100% agree with your point. 💯
BaReum didn’t have completely Yo Han’s brain, just a part from his fontal lobe (the part of the brain that is responsible for emotions and some other functions).
Having emotions doesn’t make you a good person. Bareum may gained feelings through Yo Han but the fact that HE decided to not run away, to admit what he did and to pay for his wrongdoings was what made him a good person in the end.
So of course, he didn’t change because of the brain transplant. The brain transplant just helped him realize the pain he caused to his victims and their families.
What changed him was what you said: that once in his life believed in himself to be a good person and not a monster. This was also what he wanted since he was a little boy.

But the script was actually plagiarized from Mouse (마우스)

So some things happened and they started filming Mouse.
