they are rumored to be dating in real life by netizens with the usual photo proof of same phone case, headset…
its really true that they are rumored as a couple with those photo facts posted by netizens. you can search for it with their chinese names, thou the FL picture with ML's cat has since been secretly deleted from her posting.

It doesn't seem that extreme to me. I had to look up their real ages. The both look younger than they are IMO.He…
Like I said it just lacks realism, same as "You complete me", which I have also dropped. When watching a corporate drama, its about realism, problem solving in the real world, the ability to relate and attachment to the cast.

In the world of "invisible life" it is just too extreme and really pushes too hard to highlight the disadvantages of females in that corporate world, but yet Mary is VP too in that world.

For the ML in a dialog he has mentioned that he has not dated for 5 years. Also leaving a job while having to prepare for a wedding, also having a kid soon plus needing to pay a penalty of 3 million without even a proper letter of appointment is beyond logic, its just unrealistic drama. Regardless of how capable or confident a person is, no one in the real world would do that, its like suddenly ML becomes stupid for love and just jumps off a building, screaming out loud that its for love.

So when this series pushes such plot to such extremes, it becomes hard to root for the ML that makes such illogical decisions and a FL that lets everyone walks all over her.

Sure the Asian family concept has been played out in many many dramas, but the both mothers are again portrayed and played out to such extremes. Caring and torturing are 2 very different things, what is shown in this series is more like torturing. To be fed food that induces vomit and not palatable, being forced to lay in bed all day (im surprised they didnt put the FL in a bubble ball) and change of hospital etc ... This is year 2020, its not a prison camp drama.

My replies here are just to facilitate discussions, there is no right or wrong on what to watch or not but this series is clearly not an award winning one.

Both FL leads really carry and act out their roles very well, chemistry is good between them.

Shen siyi's partner yao yuan also got very good chemistry and matches very well with her style. However midway she ends up with Bai Xiao Chuan (some old looking dude that beats her in mario kart and kendo). If Siyi role is a guy this would have caused the same uproar as when Lu ke's boyfriend ended up in bed with the supervisor.

Lu Ke's early partner on the other hand is really inferior and the other male support also does not seem to have any clear chemistry with Li yi tong, which is a pity. Still her ability to carry Lu ke's character is charming to watch.

3rd couple pairing guan yue and ye zhou is also fresh and pairs well. But just too many scenes and character development on guan yue. Really got to fast forward because we just want to watch the 2 FL leads and Guan yue is so useless.

The cinematography and costume is also great in this series. Script, plot and flow is also comfortable to watch.

With "My Best Friend's Story/流金岁月" debut in 28th dec, Dear Missy will need to improve quickly to compete.

So cute! This drama is probably the best youth chinese drama Ive seen. The characters are realistic and the personalities…

To each their own, just that this series is not for me doesnt mean its not for anyone, but if I am fast forwarding since episode 18, this series is done for me and I will just wait for the ending and watch it.

Women's struggles in the corporate world is different for every country, so it does not apply for the international market. The struggles for FL in this series isnt even typical of every china company too. Its just conservative companies that will have such typical views.

But to even think that a guy will forgo his career with a penalty of 3 million yuan too, just because of a relationship of 5-6 months is totally not realistic, to be even a director or a VP of a company requires alot of work, sacrifice and of course luck. Not to also mention that in this series ML has not been in a relationship for 5 years since. So to start off on this plot makes it really really hard to buy into this series. Of course its a drama and there needs to be some sort of plot or hook, but this is just too outrageous and really lacks realism from character development point of view.

Not to also mention the FL's mother and mother in law, from this series culture and character development wise, shouldn't they conform to the FL's habits and desire to ensure that she have a smooth pregnancy and delivery? Stress is surely the worst element to bring into pregnancy right?

From the start this series already gave away the whole story with the synopsis, but the drama is just too unrealistic and is basically tiring to watch from a neutral point of view.

Tiring because the drama point is too extreme, to have the ML face such difficulties at work due to his illogical sacrifice of quitting while not having signed or getting any letter of appointment from his next job is just one of those WTH moments. Paired with the mother in law issues, the FL sister starts to want a promotion or take the FL's place, there's just too many side issues thrown in.

Of course the FL is going to overcome all those corporate and family challenges and still be able to maintain a happy family, the end. Cant see how such a series is engaging enough to get thru especially when the editing, product advertisement and unnecessary filler scenes are constantly added just to drag it to episode 40. For a modern series revolving around female leads, I would rather be watching 了不起的女孩 / Dear Missy, at least the cinematography is better and the both FL lead cast is great

The age aside, the chemistry is just lacking for this pairing. Also the plot is just too weird, like in china there is only 1 company to work for. Plus when the FL lead is pregnant, the mom still insist that she stays at her job which requires travelling and work long hours, while requesting and forcing the ML to quit his high paying job which he has likely worked very hard for over the years plus having to pay a penalty of 3 million yuan,

Of course it is a drama, just that the script, dialog, flow and plot makes it very hard to digest and nauseating to watch

the ML really looks too old next to the FL pairing. chemistry is average so far for this series

Review About Is Love
Apparently there is going to be a second season that picks up where the first season ended. That’s just what…
yes there will be a 2nd season but after fast forwarding alot of first season, i feel it will be the same again

Avoid this series if you can.

Its just a story about a bimbo FL, a creepy controlling stalker ML (even his smile is creepy), a 2ML movie star for the love triangle and 2 crazy villains . But the hair and costume is really bad for a year 2019 series.

I hated the flow and logic of this series, really insulted my IQ watching this.

Maybe season 2 will be better.

And the camera team!!!I don't know, but they didn't get a single sharp shot. All scenes look kind of blurred and…
I am on episode 9, drifting in and out of this series. Its really hard to focus and watch it, maybe because theres alot of useless shots in this series. costume, sound effect and props are also not attractive and looks cheap.

yes its a shame that with so much talent in this casting but I guess its just a bad script and story flow. Secretly I am sure alot of fans wanted this series to be good.
On Legend of Fei Dec 17, 2020
Until episode 5 and its still a yawn fest. The script pace is slow, the dialogs are long and meaningless. Fighting scenes aren't top notched too. I also dislike the cinematography and dubbing, just like The Wolf. Hopefully it picks up the pace else, this looks to be another series to give up.
On The Love Equations Dec 8, 2020
Cant even finish episode 1, thats how cringe and dog blood this series is. For me, it doesnt seem like a good pairing as well.

Just shut up if you can’t say anything nice! If you’re really a fan know your idol first. It seems you don’t…
rant? how is it a rant when its facts? she has not had a big/huge/S tier project or a potential award winning series since her big break in The legend and AMA.

All her 3 latest projects since are just fandom series/dramas meant as fan service. But of cos seeing how there's so many response to my simple fact posting with immature name callings, I see how kids are these days with idol worshipping. lol

Seems like she is just been pairing up with all the wrong type of male leads, every project is starting to look like fast food in year 2020. Lucky's first love, love is sweet and jiu liu overlord is just wrong and has never reached the heights of the legend or arsenal military academy. Cant imagine that her next pairing will be with allen ren and his sour face.

Last best couple pairing for her is still with xu kai. While xu kai's pairing has been moving up the tier list, for bai lu it just seems to get worst.

So far after 8 episodes, there's just alot of holes in this series. From episode 1 and 2 onwards when dealing with the FL's current boyfriend of 2 years, the boyfriend would choose to cheat on FL and have an affair with a married woman, when FL is supposed to be rich too?? For someone that is smart, FL would buy over the company only to have all the staff leave?? Rental issue was also not addressed?? What I am trying to say is that issues are thrown into this series but also left unaddressed, brushed aside or doesn't make any sense.

The ML also tries hard to look like a psycho at certain scenes maybe to project the revenge aspect, but its just too over the top.

Also ML's brilliance just isn't shown in the 8 episodes so far, instead it just seems to me like ML is a scheming antagonist type of character.

Still undecided on this couple pairing but after 8 episodes, I am not sold on both the ML and FL character in this series yet. However the support cast of Tiffany Zhong looks comfortable in her role, as does the other 2 male supports.

I don’t get why the FL likes the ML... it’s so sudden, am I missing something? Lol. Also, she’s supposed…
The villain has moved back to his encampment at the borders where his military bases are at. Since she cant just go solo and tries to kill the villain there. So in the story her thought process at this point is to gain the king's trust by having a government appointment and hope that she can use the king's trust/hands to kill the villain.

Its supposed to be a love story afterall, thus the story will revolve around the ML. In this 1st return life of hers, the ML will kill the villain to protect her but dies in the process. The only reason why she shows concerns for the 3rd prince is for story development when in her 3rd life, the 3rd prince becomes king.

Is this based off the book or the drama? I'm only on episode 12 and find the FL quite worthless.
its based off the novel, the FL is indeed seemingly worthless, but it revolves around her ability to go back in time and fix things. Of cos it takes the 3rd try to get it right when she finds out about ML's identity and the 3rd prince becomes king.

14 episode in and the FL just doesnt fight, plot, scheme or thinks very well, seems 1 dimensional too in her motives. I feel that this actress just doesnt suit this role well.

12 episodes in and its not lovely to watch and still not about love. At least episode 13 there's some action, but its just so sudden, like her love just blossoms instantly.

As the plot goes, 1st life, ML will die while killing the villain. 2nd life ML forgets FL but falls in love with FL again, but still ML dies, while 3rd life is when FL gets everything right but because of the time travel and changes etc she will die too, but ML (ML is actually the black figure that put her back in the first place) will prolong her life, however FL leaves/refuses and also dies. Not sure how this series will eventually wrap up but its heading towards tragic grounds. At least the bodyguard and the 'cousin' ends up together.
