Maybe he killed someobody close to her? Or wanted her to do something unforgivable? Or maybe he used her? I guess we'll never know until we watch all 90 episodes...so 3.75 days of t.v.....I checked...with a calculator o_O
If she cursed him by cutting her hair I bet he did something REALLY bad because that would have impacted not just her life but her burial (also a big deal) and how she is remembered. I bet he did something really bad...
wow... I love chinese historical dramas... :) can't go back in korean drama right now. coz there's so…
I know you said speak Chinese--do you have any suggestions for someone who wants to learn? I can't think of anything other than maybe enrolling in a class I wish I could be a self taught genius using just a phone app but it is so different from English....
Of that list, "Falling Dreams of Fang Hua" is one I'd love to see a drama adaptation. My problem…
I read Sansheng! I liked it a lot, I just wished it was longer (maybe it is because it was a translation?) I think when I finish reading my current list of novels I will write another article you guys have all inflated my ego by reading the article and saying such positive things! I only recently discovered C-novels (after eternal love) but a lot of you have been reading them for years--I wish Cdramas and their novels got more attention because I kind of think that they are better than kdramas in terms of production value and acting---Kdramas seem to be really 'stuck' on certain styles of acting so....or maybe i'm wrong and just haven't seen enough Kdramas? that's probably what it is
question: i don't usually watch modern dramas (ones that I liked were secret garden and my love from another star) that said, do you think this is good? i haven't added it to my (very long) to watch list but have been curious
I'm not really a guzhuang person when it comes to both novels and dramas, but I'm here speaking for…
where are these fanfics??? why have I not heard of them? point me in their direction--I must read them! The amount of potential is HUGE like, why did he give her a map? What is the meaning behind that? He said 'you'll know what to do with it when you open it' SO MANY QUESTIONS! No answers...

I am an ARDENT supporter of Dong Hua/Feng Jiu (I actually liked their story arc more than BQ/YH in eternal love) and 100% want Dilraba and Vengo to be cast as them if and when they adapt Pillow Book. I have already decided that I will be that girl who petitions them to take on this project. Even though the production rights belong to somebody else...
*Ahem* Moving along...(grins) But I do think that a sequel of their existing story in Eternal Love, at this point, would make more sense. Even if it is just a 16 episode special. The writers for Eternal Love probably thought it would be a stronger story with the two story lines, and I agree, because the novel itself is short and it would have been hard to stretch it for 58 episodes otherwise. But they wrote themselves into a corner with the plot! If they adapt Pillow Book they would have to disregard the entire plot line in Eternal Love....since they took so many liberties.
The Pillow Book novel, I read, is not copied but at this point that point is moot since the author's reputation has been marred. It is very popular though. I personally don't care if she copied it, that is the author's problem, not mine. I just selfishly want to see them make the book into a drama. When it comes to the shows I watch, I am 100% self serving in that regard. (no regret!)
I am not a big fan of Ruby Lin--I am not sure why, I guess maybe she isn't my 'type'? but I will keep giving her shows a chance--but it doesn't matter if I like it or not she has a zillion fans so having a few non fans shouldn't hurt her--
oh, and is the novel from a male protagonist point of view as well? I lean towards novels with a female protagonist but since the main character is a guy it will probs be from his POV
very sad :( I don't want to be overly picky but considering how much of our lives we invest in these dramas it does frustrate me when a drama this long turns out to not be very good. I like to trust that what I am seeing will be good. I know they make dramas often are these dramas so popular that people will watch them even if they aren't that great? Maybe these directors don't get in trouble or have to worry about budgets because people will watch them anyways?
