Finale episode was a yawn. I wasn't expecting much to begin with as chemistry between the ML's was non-existent…
OMG, I put a similar comment about the hair in a review and then deleted it. Your last line is similar to my motivation, which was Peter tied to a chair naked and sweaty in Hidden Love.
I've recently seen an actor that stiff: Joong. Mek's acting seems to have improved a lot - but that will be put to the test next week. From the preview he appears to be very good at being shirtless.
You realize you're not texting, right? Why do you dislike Phoon? He was OK.
I get what you're saying - he's really strangely written and it didn't really make sense. I'm not sure I would say manipulative because he was pretty direct, but the bf-for-a-day thing was weird. Kissing Dao to prove a point was... not a good thing to do. They're trying to paint him as a good guy, but he does a lot things that are questionable. I don't like or dislike him - I was just surprised by what you said because I frankly hadn't thought about him at all and usually forget about him when he's not onscreen.

I wasn't really being serious - but I meant you can put your thoughts into one post instead of 7 if you want. Although Mek deserves his own exclamation.
I'm actually getting sick of it. This is not a PSA in a junior high school. If it were, they should also show…
I am in agreement with you, and I wouldn't have liked Khluen not getting consent, espcially after Dao was upset about being forcefully kissed.
Where I get frustrated is when people confuse aggressiveness (hot) with force (not). When Dao pushed Khluen away and he tried it again, that went far past aggressive and was kind of awful.
One of the best examples of good writing/directing/acting depicting what I'm saying was in Don't Say No (which I thought was a terrible series except for the secondary couple). Leon leaned in very slightly, Pob didn't give any positive signals, and Leon correctly read the situation, backed off, and apologized. The apology wasn't necessary, but was a sign of excellent character. Some people found him creepy and stalkerish, but he told Pob up front he intended to pursue him, and Pob didn't say no (hence the title?) - Leon was aggressive, not transgressive.
There are a lot of bls and other shows/series/movies (thai) that are about going back to the countryside why the…
I think he's there as a result of a drunk driving incident. This is clearly either inspired by or leveraging Thousand Stars - that's really undeniable, from the hut on stilts to the class of kids, to the sewn bag, but who cares, as long as it's good (although judging by Star In My Mind it won't be). Almost every Thai BL ever made rips off SOTUS and nobody seems bothered by that. There seems to be waves of imitation. We're in the middle of a chef/cooking wave, we just exited a basketball wave, and we'll never be free of the engineering wave. Anyway, I think you're really downplaying the 1000 Stars thing, but otherwise I agree with you - watch first, judge later. Or if you don't like what you saw, don't watch it - although the scene of Fah playing soccer makes that impossible for me. Yeah, I'll be there.
Wow, that was profoundly boring. When Khluen said he was way hotter than Fah, I was thinking "No. No, you're really not." To be fair, Khluen is a hard role to make appealing, and maybe a better actor would have suceeded. Nobody was bad in this, but there was a whole lot of mediocre.
I'm really getting tired of the 'uke withholds physical love' thing. What, giving you pecks on the cheek is too much? At their stage of their relationship I'd focus my attention... lower. And then they did that super-slow kiss thing, although it wasn't quite as long a lean in as usual - and points for not doing the triple-take thing.
People keep translating the word that means "court" as "hit on", which really means "proposition for sex" - it's a tough one because someone would think you were making fun of them if you asked to court them. Maybe "go after" or "do you want me to leave you alone?" or "please don't call the police."
Wasn't it his family that has a restaurant? Although that would probably make me hate cooking.
I totally get it. I think after watching so many BL series, there are preconceptions that work like this: Ze Shou is taller than Li Gong = Ze Shou is a seme = the "man" in the relationship = doesn't cook. As we know, it's illegal for the uke to be taller than the seme, so it's a perfectly reasonable assumption that Li Gong should be cooking.
That was cute - it's a rarity to see a slice of life when people get into a relationship because it usually happens in the last 10 seconds of the series.
The bed scene was a bit silly - was Li Gong not even ready for making out or a hand-job? They just completely stopped. I guess the situation for them is different than usual because they know each other so well and bypass the excitement of getting to know somone new, but after all those years I would think there would be a whole lot of desire pent up.
Is the guy playing Yuki even an actor? He appears to be an experienced model, but someone should point out to him there's a huge difference between those professions.
More and more BLs are exploring that consent issue. I like how this one established that both of them wanted something…
I'm actually getting sick of it. This is not a PSA in a junior high school. If it were, they should also show that consent and lack thereof can be non-verbal, which is much more important to impart because it's more fraught. It's also childishly black and white - what in particular was he not ready for?

But I chose him for an exchange because I wouldn't want Nut in Pat or Tae's roles. Of all of them, Tae is most my type.
