There’s a new girl on the block! Bit of a slow episode, obviously setting-up for what’s going to happen next…
In the episode where they went shopping there was sexual tension between them - I think that's why he chose the boyfriend route - plus, it can take years to become a confidant or good friend, whereas you can develop a crush much faster. What I like here is the author seems to understand that attraction can be all abut timing. When you meet a guy randomly passing who saves your friend's life, that's one thing, and when he has something to do with your parents, it's another. Or one day you're in a good mood that makes you receptive, and another day your cat dies so you're in an exteremely good mood and you fall in love at first sight. (I don't like cats).
Is there a plot to this story? It's higher budget than Nobleman Ryu, but for all that's going on in this, less is happening. Is this a romance, or is it just about the daily adventures of a Joseon drag queen?
I'm actually getting sick of it. This is not a PSA in a junior high school. If it were, they should also show…
I liked that Jao's resistance was due to low self-esteem/body issues which was sensitively addressed. I totally get that - especially at the moment with my COVID fat.
I agree, nobody is in denial about liking each other - Kinn Porsche. They are not playing dumb, annoying or oblivious. They…
Yes, it did linger a bit on the ghost plot point, and we all saw where that was going from a mile away. I liked th humor, but it could have been compressed. There is no amout of Chay/Kim that would be too much. So perfect. I even thought it was a good choice to have the doorman interrupt - it gave the scene added authenticity by not making it all go perfectly.
Who hated SCOY? The discussion section was really positive.
Hmm. I guess I can see that - before you "get" the show it might seem a bit OTT with Toh being a little bit psycho. I actually didn't love it at first - there was a bit too much high-pitched shrieking, but Jao was enough to balance that out.
I saw him (Peem) in a Thai song MV. He doing BL role and he kiss in that MV!!! Not just "fish kissing", but passionate…
Thnak you - I couldn't find that! He's so exotic looking, and that bod... I hope in the BL they don't pair him with someone 30 years older than him like that, though, lol.
This is the first BL I've ever seen - like ever - where guys behave like they're actually into each other - they miss each other whe they're apart for an hour, they always want to touch, they actually have sex... a lot... I'm so used to stories that make Jane Austin novels seem racy in comparison I hardly know what to do with myself.
And Chay actually behaves like a boy with a serious crush - and Kim acts like a guy who knows it. (BTW, that was the most touching scene I've seen this week. Mile & Apo are doing a great job, but they aren't Jeff Satur. He was subtle, but I felt it, like a sledgehammer.)
This story is silly - even stupid at times, but the people act like people, which is all that I really ask for. The plot can be about a ghost with a penguin that turns into a human - I'm fine with that, as long as people act and react like people.
OMG, I put a similar comment about the hair in a review and then deleted it. Your last line is similar to my motivation,…
I loath mullets with a passion. I hated them in the 80s, and they're even worse now when they're derivative. To be fair, in the 80s they were imitating the 50s, but today's iteration lacks the outrageousness of the 80s and just makes beautiful people look bad . That half untucked in the front thing is awful.

I've got to go with @ImHereForTheBL on this - I can't stand his hairstyle. I really dislike topknots, too - I don't really care when it's a minor character like Big, but it's a fail on Big, not just for existing but the exceptionally poor styling of it. The Meiji Restoration was 150 years ago - lt's let the top knot RIP.
That was an interesting exrercise in making something as bad, bland, and generic as possible without making it unwatchable. I think it rests 100% on Fluk as Mek, who is handsome, charismatic, and has good comic timing. Earth continues to not be good at anything yet not terrible at anything.
The synopsis is so wrong that you can't help but think the producers said "change everything. It's May, so topknots and cooking are in."
Also, how was Daniel Chang made out of sex in Call It What You Want, but looks like a boy in this?
The accidental kiss in the next episode, however, drained away any interest I had in watching this.
The first episode is not even complete but the rating is already 7 what’s wrong with the person who rated it…
It's fine - the ratings are all over the place for the first few eps and then it solidifies and hardly changes. Note how many votes there are - just one. So all of one person thought it was a 7. I'm about to watch it now - I'm going in with low expectations, so maybe I'll like it.
Wow, that took a dark turn. I'm a little scared there will be redemption for the villain - when they show childhood scenes I read that as passing the blame off to parents. Sometimes people are just bad and need to be removed from society. The actress is super-good, though.
I'm a bit obsessed with Peem - he's so masculine and his clothes fit so well. Those huge eyes and... some things lower down.
And Lukchup is supernaturally cute - his shy smile is like some fantasy magic approximation of a human expression. I could die.
