i wanna get into it rn, do you recommend me stopping at ep 7?
I would have to say no - Ep 8 is where you see them in a relationship and it's cute with out being OTT. So far I really like the series, although I FF through the second couple. I'm usually a picky watcher, but I really like the main couple.
I just don't know what to say anymore, other than I think it should have ended last episode. I'm not saying it's…
IDK, I tihnk it's kind of nice to have an ep showing them togther to set up whatever crisis is about to strike. Just as long as it isn't one of them getting run over by a white SUV. That happens a lot. And they didn't spent a lot of time on the other couple, which was also kind of nice.
No clue! Sad to see the rating going down! This is such a lighthearted and feel-good drama. Perfect for my study…
Actually, I take that back. If you look at the breakdown of scores by age, all age groups rate it higher than 8.5 except for 65+, who hate it, but they're .02%, meaning it's only one voter. It's impossible that it's that 8.0. I wonder if votes are weighed differently between different membership levels. Or the statistics system sucks.
I was about to groan when Fukuhara apologized to Shinomiya for liking him, but then I remembered the Japanese apologize for EVERYthing. The worst is when you're with someone who doesn't speak English well yet and every other word is "sorry" Well, maybe every third word, because there's usually a "so" before "sorry".
Anyway, some progress this ep - but I'd like them to do something with the theme of luck - right now it's just played for comedy and while this ep was much more enjoyable than the last couple, it's starting to descend into fluff, which is nice in appropriate doses but can get tiresome.
For me, and I think for many people, the problem is the main character - I think the acting is weak, and Prakan…
I've given up trying to understand. I thought Miracle of Teddy Bear was fantastic and it got an 8. But a lot of people do buy the formula - accidental kisses and all. For me, Dear Doctor is a great idea with some great ingredients, but it needed a better chef. If they had switched Nut and Yacht's roles this might have been really special. It's just that I really don't like Prakan, so I wish Tua would follow Dr. Mehta around all day until he trips, then he can catch him which will turn him gay and they can live happily ever after.
Sigh. I would have given anything if Tua had pushed Prakan away and said "I need time."
Why did he need all that time? This episode had 5 minutes of story, and the rest was basically boring filler. Especially since all of Prakan's processing was with his one facial expression.
This didn't really make any sense. What adult lets a child misunderstand something that hurts him and allows their relaionship to totally end when he just needed once sentence to explain everything?
I wonder if this writer has any experience with any aspect of human life. 100% of parents, siblings, friends, and even acquaintances would be happy a person they love or like gets a heart. So what? We all know that someone else may die to enable that happiness, but we're perfectly capable of reconciling those contradicitions.
He did absolutely nothing wrong, or to even feel bad about. Instead, he let his reputation be destroyed, which hurt Prakan's future. The whole thing is stupid. The soap opera deaths in this are getting ridiulous - next ep appears to be adding another one.
Every Thai BL OST sounds exactly the same - a belting ballad sung at maximum volume all the way through the two bars of it they ever play.
I would say no. It's repetitive and the main character is really unappealing. Some people like it, so you might try it - if you like it after two eps, then maybe it's for you. The reaper is really beautiful and easy to look at.
Why does this have the score that it does? So weird. Usually I can tell why something falls below the 8.0 range,…
For me, and I think for many people, the problem is the main character - I think the acting is weak, and Prakan doesn't appear to have the moral reasoning capacity of an adult, i.e. grapsing the difference between killing someone and escorting them to the next world, which he confuses over and over and over, leading to a repetive cycle of growing close Tua and then getting furious with him every time someone dies.
Anyway, I think this is rated about right. It's boring and repetitive, the main character is unappealing, and the much more interesting and better-acted side characters aren't given much time.
The back and forth is repetitive. And the gonna, wanna, goin’.Pleaseeeeeee 🤣🤣🤣
ESL teachers seem to really push those, but it's to the point that foreign speakers torture their sentences in order to insert 'gonna'. If you think about it "I'm gonna go now" is "I am going to go now", when is should just be "I'm going now". Worse, 50% of the time, the "am" in "I'm" is left out, so you get "I gonna go", which hurts my eyes.
This feels like a 'slice of life'. Where they establish the characters and their quirks, and then the rest of…
It seems to be suggestin g you should get unconventionally close to your pet. Now, I'm not judging - to each his own - but I just hope people are being safe and taking appropriate precautions if they're f@#$ing their cats.
Meow is an adult or he would be in school. Also, Manni is also portrayed the same way, so shouldn't we be bothered…
Well, almost all BL characters behave as if they're 12, so it's not like it's unusual. But it is a little weird - even if Meow is 20, Dermdem treats him like he's 8, so... yeah.
