I've always shipped Earn over sad sack Phun, Why would you not go with. a mature, happy, supportive, cute guy…
I forgot to ask: are we really accustomed to BLs where there's healthy communication? BL seems to me to rely very, very heavily on miscommunication and misinterpretation. If anything, people in this series are reasonably communicative.
Sadly I must agree. I find myself perking up when attention turns to the other couples, maybe because they have…
It's the downside to Aim being nice - there are no stakes or dramatic tension. Because there's nothing to overcome, there's no dopamine to be had. All we have is a weak "I need time". He didn't need any time to do everything he's already done with Noh - why is there a problem now?
I have to give it to Almond, it must be very dificult for a young guy to have to move THAT slowly 100% of the time. I almost picture the director with a stick, hitting him with it if he ever moves any part of his body faster than a turtle.
I'm starting to get bored with this series - I like the acting, and I like that they didn't make Aim awful, but the amount of very slow walking and long, long dull stares weighs the narrative down like Titanic chained around your neck in a swimming pool. OK, that image doesn't really work, but you know what I mean.
I just don't find Noh and Phun compelling - the actors work well together, but there's not enough THERE there. I wish Noh could be with Earn, but that's not happening. I think it's time to branch out to the other couples.
Honestly, watching a series as conflicted as this one nowadays is emotionally complicated. Even knowing that the…
I've always shipped Earn over sad sack Phun, Why would you not go with. a mature, happy, supportive, cute guy with a triathlete body over someone who mopes around all day and walks and moves unnaturally slow at all times?
I's struggling with Ep 3. Are there any more that are this painful to watch? Do people really think the OTT ladyboys are funny? It's tedious and repetitive, and they're al presented as pathethic predators. Nice representation.
I was sort of enjoying this until this episode. It was BL by the numbers - piggy back ride, rain, first aid, just a checklist.
How did Sean not notice the massive scrape on his elbow in the shower? Don't know. It made no sense, and it's only so they could have the cliched first-aid schtick. Even if he didn't use soap, water would still sting.
I did like the incompetent assassin & the secretary - maybe I'll just ff through everything else.
They want the human race to die out. That's what will happen if nobody is ever forward in wanting a relationship.…
I think parents may have oversold "bad touch" warnings. Now only an engraved invitation following a purely accidental meeting is mildly acceptable, provided the man isn't masculine and refrains from making eye contact without permission. That's what is today called a "green flag". Jesus wouldn't qualify. First of all, there's a significant age difference, and beyond that he has violent tendencies against moneychangers and he keeps gaslighting people.
The main character is one of the hottest guys I've ever seen. Funny, he was the PE teacher in The On1y One, and I commented at the time "are we not going to talk about the hot PE teacher"? He was in it for 10 seconds and I was smitten. Here we get 20 minutes of him. Ugh. I'm in love. And his voice.
Do you mean you find it boring because this story idea has been done over and over? If yes, can you tell me which…
The quality of the episode is very good - I think in general JBL has the highest quality and the greatest creativity, just not in the writing. Which is a shame, because Japanese writers are very creative and have come up with some of the best ideas - the producers just don't choose to film them.
I'd say Korean BLs are not too "standard", but then they don't have nearly as high a % of high school stories as Japan or Thailand, and Thai BLs set in High School are also quite dull to me. There are occassional gems in all countries.
I'll give this one another try - like most American viewers, I didn't have a great day yesterday.
There needs to be some Perth soon, because I'm suffering to get through this endless stream of cliches stapled…
That would be my recommendation. Right now I'm ff-ing through it for scenes where Force takes his clothes off and Perth-Santa. Although the side couple is pretty decent.
Is this split into 3 8-ep subseries? I'm having trouble forcing myself to watch this with Force & Book - only staring at Force's... everything keeps me going.
I'm really only interested in Santa and Perth, although I like Mark & Poon now.
A rating of 7.70 is not fair!!! This might be the most fun I even seen between Force and Book and they deserve…
Really? I love Perth, and I love Chimon, but I didn't think they had any chemistry. I'm looking forward to Perth & Santa, although Santa looks like a totally different person now.
