I'm sorry but, WHAT? How is it a shame to put GL in a gay series? It's 2024 - women are people too, have you not…
She didn't say it's shameful to have f/f couples, she said it's a shame that everyone feels the need to shoehorn a f/f couple into everything, which is tokenism. Representation isn't meaningful unless it's important to the plot. In this case, it does have a role, but it's simply to remove the dramatic tension of the original series and replace it with a much fluffier storyline, which is a shame.
Fortunately the acting is like thirty times better than the original so it's still a pleasure to watch.
SO BASICALLY ALL THIS BOYS ARE GAY WITH EACH OTHER.... I've been a BL fan for years now and I wouldn't mind the…
You mean Earns' traithlete body? That works for me. But everyone being gay is an element of BL - it's a fantasy world, not intended to be realistic - notice that all the characters are rich and attractive?
I love this series, but the voiceovers at the zoo in Ep 3 made me angry. Why ruin perfectly good visual storytelling with that? Especially with vocal music in the background. Way too much voiceover in general, like when the deaf guy is signing. It's distracting and takes me out of the story. But otherwise it's perfect.
....to tell the truth I don't feel like watching this series anymore. I was hoping so much for a happy ending…
I don't see what the problem is with the second couple. As long as the younger guy isn't the teacher's actual student, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the relationship. So what if he reminds him of his brother? Men tend to date women that are like their mothers, and nobody seems to mind that. Their age difference is what? Maybe 5 years at most? You're painting it like it's a 75-year old with a pre-teen. He's an adult, he can make his own decisions. It's incredivly judgmental to call that "unacceptable". It might be less grating if you phrased it "due to my own personal issues".
asides from it being unwatchable, I agree with the other statements. I am still trying this to see where it goes.
'Unwatchable' might be too strong - but I guess I have too much to watch to stick with something that wasn't pleasant for me. Maybe they'll improve the sound mixing as they go along.
I was 100% certain I would hate this series and I was 100% wrong. It has a lot of charm - the shy guy is a different type of character than we usually get and the evil guy is so sexy I'd have to watch even if the show were bad, and it isn't.
That was awful. I don't understand the casting, especially of Kong. Whose hair enrages me. And too unoriginal, although I liked seeing Mike and Tonnam.
