WTF did I just watch? Do you mean to tell me that Kit and Mark have been LIVING together for all this time and sleep in the same bed, but they've never had sex?!? And Wayu is a grown man that can't bear to see a man take his shirt off? And how is Tong's first kiss with Pok meaningful in any way when he just had his dick in his mouth? Not to mention the dubiously consensual nature of it - why would you force someone to go down on you as a prelude to dumping them? That was just coercive and violent. Who wrote this dreck? I feel like I have whiplash, veering from 8-year old girl (Wayu) to hate sex.
Can Sandee hurry up and destroy everyone? Good God. I've never watched a series where I wanted everyone to just DIE (except the villain). And would someone lend Wayu and Thanu at least one more facial expression each? The guy who played Pha on 2moons2 is Marlon Brando compared to these two guys.
Did they tell Mek to do that, or is that what he thinks being gay is? It's funny that explicitly gay characters never seem to be "normal" - it's like GMM can't conceive of that.
i get the feeling it'll be a bittersweet ending... bitter part will be eunho going back to the present and heon…
It doesn't look like it from the preview. If they do go to the future, I'm not sure what a medieval prince will do for a living. Does he know how to do anything except graciously allow other people to do things for him? Unless he buried treasure somewhere.
The cast is cute, but another college drama? Also, "enchante" is used enough in English (when you're acting pretentious ironically) that it really means "pleased to meet you", which doesn't make sense as a name. "I'll be your pleased to meet you." And it doesn't help that the trailer gave away the entire plot, not that all of us won't be able to accurately sketch it out episode by episode after the first 15 minutes.
This looks mediocre in every way, so naturally I'll watch it. And to be fair, it's a big positive that all the mains have previous acting experience, so we won't get mannequins that can somehow speak.
Haven't played attention to both kbls airing this and tinted with you but i should it give it a shot since they…
I would have to say no. The plot is cliched, and the acting not great. Maybe it would be worth it when the movie version comes out so that bad episodes blend in to better ones. I probably won't bother with the remaining 2 because the 6th was so bad.
Seeing all the positive comments makes me think I'm watching a different show. I want to like this, I REALLY do.…
About half your comment is posted separately below for some reason.
But I agree. I suspect you'll like Ep 6 even less - Yeong Woo gets 10 seconds of screen time, which seems odd given how short this is - do we really have time to dwell on I Bin like that? For me, Ki Jin is just kind of... there, whereas Hwang Yi Bin makes my skin crawl. Without Yeong Woo this is barely watchable.
The hipocricy of Sk writers are just amaze me every time, I love the drama but the idea of be angry on other that…
That plus Yeong Woo showing up for no particular reason at just the precise instant to hear a phrase out of context to cause a misunderstanding, which is so tired and stupid a plot device it's hard to believe anyone could write that without feeling deep shame and embarassment.
I was enjoying this until Ep 6, when for me it took a dive off a cliff with cliched plot tropes and a focus on I Bin, even inserting a ballad with flashbacks, which is incomprehensible given how short the drama is - why waste so much time on some creepy guy and only allow the main character 10 seconds of screen time?
I really liked the first couple of episodes of this, but I think it's really bogged down at this point. For such a short run-time it needs to focus on the main pair, and instead it's detoured into I Bin, who is so creepy I almost can't watch him. Plus this ep did the stereotypical having the read romantic interest show up in a one-in-a-billion coincidence to hear one phrase out of context to cause a misunderstanding, which is a good sign of creative bankruptcy. And why would you waste half an episode on a ballad about a creep not getting his way?
It's not terrible or anything, but I've kind of lost interest in the story. Why shouldn't I if the writers clearly have as well? I'm not feeling the chemistry between the leads, but then they're hardly onscreen together.
Not a perfect bl but still better than ( tinted with you )
Really? I like Tinted WIth You much better. I started out liking this one, but the focus on the profoundly creepy I Bin instead of the main pair made the last couple of eps really unpleasant to watch, plus Ep 6 was a bit confusing and messy with the non-linear bits. I like Tinted a lot more.
Did you finish watching it? I'm confused about what you find sad.
Not to mention the lack of consequences for the villain. "Hey, you committed first degree murder for petty greed!" "I'm sorry." "OK, since you're sorry, no prob."
So it's a BL and so far het/homo love scenes are 2-0, including a fairly graphic one. This series has managed to be boring and uncomfortable to watch at the same time - there are scenes I just have to skip because I can't deal with it.
They've lived together as a couple for a year and Judah still looks away in embarassment at Rocky's nudity? And that date they had - they haven't had a moment alone in weeks or months, and so their date is something that a 10-year-old girl might imagine? I don't really see any reason why Judah and Rocky are together - they barely know each other after all this time and have solved none of their issues.
And if Judah is so rich, why is he living in a hovel with 4 roommates?
Most of the first half was filler, and while Eps 5 & 6 did show movement, did it move anywhere I wanted to see? This has done everything except develop Judah & Rocky's relationship. Tonally, the events of Ep 6 for Judah clash really unpleasantly with Beshie & Kulas' interaction, and frankly, Beshie is torture to watch. He was fine as a bit character, but as a main character he's unbearable. He's OK when he turns it down a couple of notches, but otherwise he's too OTT without having the fierceness to pull if off - it just feels forced.
The first season was one of the better BLs I've seen - this is near the bottom, and is one of the larger disappointments of the year.

Got it - makes sense. TBH, it really should have had a sad ending, because they one they gave us wasn't very plausible (by the rules of the universe they set up, plus there's not a lot of support for tangible ghosts spending their life with you) and sudden. They could just have had them meet again in a different life to make it a hopeful ending.
There's a Vietnamese version of this, but it moves 6 times faster than the Thai version, which could have used…
The first ep ends with Ghost realizing Boy's mother is his ex. Wasn't that like two-thirds of the way through the Thai version? It must have been at least half way.
There's a Vietnamese version of this, but it moves 6 times faster than the Thai version, which could have used a little condensing, TBH, except for the last episode, grrr. Anyway, there's a note about it under the spoiler.
