They are definitely not pairing Olan and Yana - they call each other besties and I believe Olan identifies as…
You did tell me so. Roy walking the cow was one of the few things I liked about the episode. But Royce Cabrera does it for me no matter what he's doing. It was kind of fun to see the guy with the red hair do what I (abd probably most of the audience, too) have been wanting to do - throw Olan down on a bed and attack.

I am not watching. The audio is atrocious and it looks like the quality of the directing in the dramatic scenes…
By production I mean cinematography, editing, sound, etc. The script sucked. I'm not sure what the point of it was - I think they were going for "homophobia kills", but they really ended up with "driving like a crazy person without your glasses on while talking on the phone kills". And I agree, way too dark and dramatic, which would be OK if it weren't marketed as a BL. BL ends in a hug, peck on the lips, or a high five (I know, I know, it's getting better lately), not lots of dead and depressed people.

Did you notice how his eyes were shining during the scene where they were saying their good nights at Tian's?…
You're missing what I'm saying. Tian talked to Tul on the phone. Tul said he's coming to Chiang Mai., right after whichTian had lunch with Doctor, right after which Tul arrived. That means unless Tian & Doctor were at lunch for 3-4 hours, then Tul teleported.

Oh, sorry - you said "BL is not very good at handling mental illness" - I misread it as referring to this particular BL

I think he would have to be a sensitive person to be able to play this role - but in any role he plays, he has a presence that you don't find much in BL.

Did you notice how his eyes were shining during the scene where they were saying their good nights at Tian's?…
Yes. The point is that Tul got from Bangkok to Chiang Mai in the time it took to eat lunch, which is not possible, and I'm not sure why people are arguing.

What was creepy & cringey? I'm just curious, because I usually find myself more sensitive to things like that…
I didn't feel the connection yet either - I'm hoping it's because the tall guy is playing a stoic character. Or it could be the actors have no chemistry - I guess we'll see!

I absolutely noticed the moist eyes - that scene had me with moist eyes. Regarding Tul, someone ran over Torfun... I'm just sayin'. They wouldn't have underlined how much Chief hates whoever did it if it weren't going to play into the story.

Yes, but as I said, he had to get to the airport, you have to be there 30 minutes before the flight, go through security, check in, board, the plane doesn't just instantly take off, it sits on the runway and taxis, then when you get their wait to the plane gets to the terminal, disembark, get into town etc. Los Angeles is a one-hour flight from San Francisco and a 5-6 hour drive, but driving & flying take about the same amount of time.

I have a confession. I am so in love with Hyun Hoon now *blush* he is so alpha and so tall and omg! I promised…
I'm more into the dancer. But I see the appeal of the other guy. In Where Your Eyes Linger, the bodyguard seriously did it for me.

Got it. The tear thing was weird for me too. But don't forget the theme is tdestiny, plus they've met before, although the dancer doesn't remember. But tall guy certainly does - and he didn't collect the money and got in trouble for it. I also interpreted tying him up as "two birds with one stone" - he did it with a scarf to protect his feet which were exposed in the cold.

I don't think this series so far deserve a 6+ rating. Apart from the very sensitive topic they're tackling (I…
Yes, but the technical issues are pretty serious, the directing isn't very good, and the script is preachy. I'm sticking with it for now because the acting is great and the setup is interesting, but I'm hoping for improvement or it might get tedious to watch.

My Extraordinary was very well directed and produced, regardless of how people felt about the plot. This one has inspiration, but the skills to realize it are not there - at least not so far.

I'm on the fence. BL is not very good at handling mental illness. They tend to still treat it as a choice and…
I didn't feel that way - there didn't seem to be an judgment to me, and the only person Damon is interacting with is his uncle, who he doesn't really talk to and give a chance to understand him.

But it does seem like depression is being handled as a result of circumstances, when it's more than that. I hope they don't reduce the whole plot to something Christian that had no meaning for me.
On Meet My Angel Feb 27, 2021
This is a great concept, but it's appears that the technical skills of the production are not equal to their ambition. Sound is hard to get right, but it can be more right than it is here - it's to the point of distraction.

I was thinking to myself that Enzo is not as good as he was in My Extraordinary, but I think the problem is not him but the clunky dialogue - I'm not sure anyone could do better with that script. And can someone take a machete to the dead squirrels hanging from the sides of his face? Sideburns are not meant for everyone.

I'm hoping that future episodes are less preachy. "Show don't tell" applies even more to the visual medium than it does to the written.

I think this series has potential, and I'm certainly sticking with it - but I'm hoping there's improvment in these issues. Kaleb is wonderful, and it's nice to see Gio shining in a serious role. In his better moments in this ep, Enzo made me cry.

I think his mother's dead - the symbolism seemed to indicate that. "His family" doesn't necessarily include her.

I guess this takes place pre- or post-COVID.

I love how each Korean BL that recently came out offers a fresh plot. Not much repetitive. And away from the school…
It would also be nice for them to avoid the characters falling so their faces are too close together and they stare at each other until they turn gay, (Well, not gay, only gay for each other).

What was creepy & cringey? I'm just curious, because I usually find myself more sensitive to things like that than other people and I didn't feel at all that way here.
