Yes, they went to a different world/universe, with no magic/demons. just humans. but they're still fated, so of course they met again. their minds didn't know eachother, but their souls and hearts did. Ji Ling selling Lu Wuyi's fav flowers, giving them to her, and her handing him his fav berries that he always loved eating.
