-On their first meeting, she came back for him and tried to save him (and accidentally shot his butt). She could have saved herself considering they didn’t know each other? I mean, if I were Wuyi, I would be touched too. -Wuyi saw every side of her. Including her vulnerability like when she got drunk. -Wuyi admired her determination and respected her. -Instead of defending herself, Jiayu is horrified that one of her inventions was used to massacre Wuyi's men. She confronts her father over it and completely loses her usual confidence. Wuyi sees that beneath her love of profit and inventions is someone with a conscience -When Wuyi is wounded, Jiayu personally tends to him. She pretends it's practical, but she's clearly worried about him. She also praises him in front of Li Mao instead of belittling him. -Rather than hiding behind Wuyi, Jiayu actively cooperates with him during the conflict. Her inventions become part of their strategy -Jiayu proves she's someone who can stand beside him in danger, not someone he has to constantly rescue. -Most people simply obey Wuyi or flatter him. Jiayu is willing to question his beliefs, and he respects her enough to listen. -Jiayu reminds him that there is still kindness in the world

And when he said “love at first sight” it doesn’t necessarily mean that he knew right then. For Wuyi, she caught his heart before he consciously realized it. And he wasn’t sure until that day Limao confronted him.
Signs that Wuyi’s feelings were gradually growing: -He felt sad for Jiayu about what Grand Tutor did. He mentioned it and also looked away when he realized he must have hurt her when he asked “do you think your father will come save you?” -He gave her chances to escape -His respect for her came before love as they investigated together and worked together
During that blindfold horse archery fight, I believe that’s when Wuyi realized his feelings. It was after reflecting on everything that happened, after running toward her, that Wuyi realized his heart had already chosen her the first time they met.
At first, Wuyi believed what he felt was simply curiosity and admiration. It wasn't until they spent more time together that he realized those emotions had quietly grown into love. Looking back, he understood that his heart had been drawn to her from the very beginning, which is why he later described it as "love at first sight."
So I want to clarify for Wuyi guys that just because someone says “i fell in love at first sight with you” it doesnt mean that they knew at that very moment that it was love. If wuyi did, then he should have said so since episode 1. But it took him a few episodes later to come to a realization that ‘that’ intrigue he felt for her was already the beginning of love.

But Sometimes it just means you had this powerful spark that makes you extremely motivated to get to know someone, seeing his intrigue for her and the way he was sad for her after what Grand Tutor did.

In my opinion… it’s not that it was rushed… it was anything but that. Jiayu probably remembered a quote that says “you only realize you love someone when you lose them” because she confessed right after witnessing hurt and bleeding Wuyi. That must be why she asked him to take care of himself more. She didn’t want to lose him because she knew he had heroic ideas and would put himself in danger for others, so that must be why she confessed to him at that moment and said she wanna be the wife of a hero. Psychologically speaking….
It was instinct due to a traumatic situation (Wuyi caned right in front of her): realizing how close she came to losing Wuyi triggered a natural emotional surge in her, making it impossible to hold back her feelings and realizing that she could’ve taken her feelings to Xiao Wuyi’s grave if she kept on holding it back more.
