It dropped from 8.9 to 8.6 to 8.3/8.4 very quickly. Probably people rating it very low while those who are enjoying it are waiting to rate until the end. I think it will go up, let's be patient 😊

This show has created more interesting characters in three episodes than some shows have in all sixteen episodes. Good writing plus good cast equals magic

I love her too. She is flawed and has to learn and grow and that's what's interesting...so do the other characters in their own ways. Love how the drama lets us see different sides to her depending on who she's in a scene with.

I don't want him to be dead but I think them not ending up together isn't a tragedy, they can both end up in good places in life having impacted each other in their younger years and I feel like that may be where the drama goes. We'll see! 😅

I think I'm in the minority but I think a bittersweet ending like that will fit this drama much better. Not expecting anything super tragic in the end that would be weird (as of right now) but sunshine and rainbows happily ever OTP at the end doesn't seem right to me with the sense of bittersweetness/nostalgia in the drama so I would be satisfied with an ending like that

The rating dropped from 8.6 to 8.3 overnight so I'm thinking probably a handful of people rated it really low for some reason. Most of us who are enjoying it will only rate at the end so let's all just keep watching and stay positive. If the show continues to be good the rating will go back up for sure 😊

Hmm that's not the case for me...still says 8.3. I haven't noticed a dropoff on any other dramas. Might just be lower ratings bringing it down.

You don't have to like the writing or character and you're free to express that. But some dramas are written to be more realistic and some are more stylized. If the style is not your thing that's okay but writers are welcome to create dramas like this and characters like that. It will cater to some people and not to others. I'm sure we will see more to Heedo's character in future eps. Also dislike the implication that anyone who resembles Heedo in personality isn't "normal and functioning" tbh......everyone is different.

Didn't expect the wait time for next episodes to be so difficult. Not because I need to know what happens next but because it's so nice to spend time in this drama's world. It's like knowing you are going to go out for ice cream on the weekend 🍦

She's very flawed but I love her as a character. We saw from the umbrella scene and her seen with Yi Jin how she is when she is just being open and happy or vulnerable. She clearly has some baggage that is playing into her behavior with Hee Do which doesn't come across well but is very human (and also she's just a kid!) It also distinguishes their dynamic from everyone else's—them being rivals is the point and it's an interesting spin that Hee Do really adores her while Yu Rim surprises her by being cold. It would be really boring if Yu Rim was friendly off the bat imo. Hee Do already has a friendly dynamic with the other characters. I'm excited to see Yu Rim's character arc :)

True! Plus from what I've seen his personality doesn't really seem to match that of Injeolmi...he doesn't scream "person who'd spend tons of his time messaging with a stranger online and wanting to meet up" at me lolol but maybe I'm thinking too hard about it!

It seems like they did that on purpose as a little misdirect—like [wink and nod] we are toying with your expectations 😉 It could still be him but tbh I will be a little disappointed if it is as it feels a bit too obvious/cliche. I think it would be cool if they subvert that and make it someone else.

FLs in dramas like this are always criticized harshly in a way the MLs never are. People find her "annoying" but are fine with the often nonsensical behaviors of the MLs? lol. Or people are just mad at her because they want the show to be a dude fest or she's "getting in the way of the bromance." It's the same thing as always 😪 I think she's great and adds another dimension to the show - it would be much more boring without her actually. I hope she gets even more screentime.

Actually yes, I felt this too...I feel a little confused about how they wanted me to feel in that scene. I see so many people treating it as an overtly happy/romantic consolation prize in contrast to the pain, but I found that scene just as heartbreaking as the rest of the episode in many ways. It's a vision of happiness but it's Yi San's vision...not Deok Im's. After all this time his view on love is still warped and possessive (which you can also see in the way he speaks to Kyung Hee about Deok Im). In that last scene he says "I will always choose this moment with you" but it's bittersweet because even though Deok Im does love him, it's not her who gets to choose that moment :(

So we're all spending the start of our 2022 crying our eyes out, huh? 😭
