Lol I refreshed and it already surpassed 14,000, I spoke too soon. Hooray :)) I also was interested in this drama from before airing as a TR fan

The show being very colorful is one of my favorite things about it actually. The obvious route is doing that faded/sepia look lots of dramas do for flashbacks and older eras but that doesn't really suit the tone of this drama, Heedo's character, the sense of hopefulness and playfulness. It's possible the look of the drama will change a little bit too as the tone changes.

I don't think any of us really think the drama is going to end on a tragic note no matter what happens in the future. But if you can't stand the idea of the leads not being together you can always come back to it when it's done and see, there's nothing wrong with that.

Personally I am glad this show comes out weekly. There are so many amazing moments in each episode it's better to slow down and appreciate them rather than binge all at once. It's better to savor every part we get until the end.

So far this seems pretty likely to me. Not a tragedy, not a certain happy ever after, but ending it with some kind of hope for the future. Maybe even just them running into each other again and the ending being open. Also like that you mentioned adoption I was thinking that too...just because Hee Do has Min Chae doesn't a hundred percent mean she fell in love with another dude/got married/whatever :)

MDL is all over the place lately especially with now airing dramas. I noticed earlier today the ranking for 2521 was messed up, it was way way low, and now it looks fixed but the rating just dropped again 😣

I agree. Unfortunately have a feeling the drama is getting hate rated by some because everyone in the comments who has been watching has been overwhelmingly positive. The low rating seems odd

Yesterday there was a glitch with MDL that caused the ratings of many dramas to suddenly increase a lot which is why it showed as 8.9 for a while but when they fixed it TFTO returned to 8.4 which it had been at previously.

Yes the green light scene! I'm with you. As long as the quality of writing remains great I am ready to go wherever this show takes me.

I mean that's fair to each their own but the series had a sense of bittersweetness to it from the start in my opinion, and it's always been transparently about the IMF crisis, nostalgia, and two people who cross paths and then separate again and again (from the synopsis). I don't think the ending will be a tragedy but likely not perfect sunshine and rainbows. If you don't like that you are of course welcome to your opinion and to not like it! :) but I think it's been well foreshadowed that it's not going to be a simple happily ever after.

Lots seem to be treating this drama like it's a mystery "will they won't they" and being mad that so much about the future is already revealed when it's clear to me that's not really the point. Whatever the case is in the future the drama really seems to be telling a story of how people can come together in life and affect each other and change each other and those relationships don't always have to be permanent to have a big effect on you. I get some people are here because they want to see their happily ever after OTP but I'll be disappointed if people hate on the show just because they possibly don't get that. The show is already about so much more than romance.

That really is not true. We have seen her being kind and smiley to her female peers and women in her life. Also she has not always been sweet around guys. In her first scene with Yi Jin she was actually expressing anger and sadness toward him. Calling her a "pick me" is implying she drags down girls to appeal to guys.....there is zero evidence of her doing that. If anything Yi Jin would disapprove of her behavior toward Hee Do. No need to project stuff onto her because you dislike her.
