Yes honestly that surprised me. I think it was a step too far.

Oh I didn't see the preview yet, I'll have to watch it! :) But yes I think it will start to happen. If not then it's definitely a writing flaw because what would the point of her arc be, right? I hope they dedicate enough time to do it justice.

Seeing the hate thrown at Yoo Rim, let me just say that Hee Doo is as immature and impulsive but some people are…
Exactly. Hee Do is my favorite but I keep thinking about how every time she behaves immaturely or acts out people just find it funny or cute. Remember when Hee Do promised to tell Yu Rim if she heard from Yi Jin but broke her promise, and Yu Rim was upset by that? Hee Do never apologized and no one on the internet was hating on Hee Do for that, it was just completely forgotten. If it was the other way around people would be talking constantly about how Yu Rim is two faced for that.

Yurim around ji woong is the real one actually according to me.
With respect I think this is a really cynical take on humans honestly, saying that people should be defined by how they act in the most stressful moments. It's not like there were cameras there when she was with Ji Woong, or when she was crying watching her mother cry, or anything else, so that was her when no one was looking too. Those are all parts of Yu Rim...the good and the bad. I'm not sure why people are so invested on making her a less interesting character than she is by saying only one side of her is real and everything else should be discarded.

Title Twenty Five Twenty One Spoiler
That scene with Hee Do watching Yu Rim in the pool was really well done and heartbreaking :( I like how they flashed back and showed Hee Do remembering past times where she saw Yu Rim's wet shorts and wondered where she had been. I think this show is good at putting in little things like that where characters come to understand the points of views of others that helps them question things they had assumed or didn't understand before.

I really hope this isn't the case and people don't hate on her for that 😞 She didn't even want Yi Jin to come!

Right? I wish I could watch that scene again for the first time! But I think we all would've gone crazy if they had ended an episode on that cliffhanger πŸ˜… (Even if it wasn't really a cliffhanger)

I get people being mad at Yu Rim but it's a little frustrating that people are talking so much about her when the evil of this episode was how people exploited the conflict between the two girls for attention and money. I mean even our "heroic" character Baek Yi Jin was not only just trying to help Hee Do but put a stop to what he felt was morally wrong. I think it's a shame that this is getting buried beneath the constant Yu Rim hate and people acting like she maliciously tried to ruin Hee Do's reputation herself which she really didn't do. She wasn't kind and her behavior isn't excusable, but it was her right to question the ref if she felt she was wronged which she did honestly think. The following craziness in the media wasn't her fault and also affected her negatively. It's fair to hate her treatment of Hee Do but it's weird seeing people act like Yu Rim was out to destroy Hee Do on purpose. It's like the audience of the show has fallen for the same thing the episode was criticizing and everyone is pitting the two of them against each other and piling on hate when everyone could be hoping for Yu Rim to grow so they can break the cycle and be allies.

Yurim is such a pick me
Yes the show has definitely clearly shown that the reasons she is acting out against Heedo is for...male attention? I must've missed all that lol

Yes! I love Hee Do as much as everyone but I'm disappointed that it feels a bit like they have sacrified Yu Rim's character to raise up Hee Do's. I wish each of their sides was handed with a little more complexity inside of just Yu Rim being awful and Hee Do being right in their every interaction when the other things they've shown us in the show let us know it's not that simple.

I agree with you and I think that's probably how the show will want us to see it, that the media was pitting the two of them against each other and they both suffered for that, that they have more in common than differences, but I feel like from the fact that majority of people are saying they hate her forever now the writers maybe weren't very successful in getting that across lol. And they could have tried a little harder to show Yu Rim's side of things. Even the parts that I felt were trying to make her sympathetic people are using as reasons to bash her even more. But I hope this episode will be the turning point and she actually gets some good development starting tomorrow. Otherwise I'm worried time will run out to do her justice :(

a little disheartening to see how many people are not in yurim's corner at all lmao... i think she's very easy…
I agree with you one hundred percent. I really hope things turn around very quickly because if not I think I'm going to start getting a little frustrated with the writing. I get they needed Yu Rim to come across a certain way to make Hee Do look extra heroic and good and it makes sense with her character but I wish they didn't make her out to be such a villain this episode, I feel like the degree of it wasn't really necessary. It's honestly a big bummer to see the magnitude of the hate people have for her 😞

just because her behavior is a plot device for the show doesn't justify her character. We all understand that…
That is not the same as justifying her actions. The world is not separated into good people who do good things and bad people who do bad things. But since I feel you aren't understanding my point at all that's fine to each their own POV. Take care!
