Wow. Seeing people say Yi Jin being dead would be better than no Baekdo Endgame is too much for me and feels insulting to their characters. Come on y'all πŸ˜“ You really wish Yi Jin was dead over two people living their lives separately content with themselves after having a positive impact on each other? Isn't the whole point of their relationship that they made each other better stronger people and wished each other a good future? I get people will be mad if they're not together but it isn't a tragedy comparable to death. Come on πŸ˜…

I'm with you. I think I'm just sad that they are not end game. I didn't like the theories going around about his…
I feel you I am just confused why people are so shocked πŸ˜… The set up has been there every episode. I mean I still don't know how it will end but them being together would be the shock for me. For sure the show has been teasing about the future but a lot of the theories are fans blowing things out of proportion and convincing themselves of endgame (or death theories) based off stuff that's not really there. I agree with you it looks like that is how 2521 will go at this point but we'll see!

Episode 14 should be included as a master class in storytelling.
Agreed, one of the best episodes of the show for sure.

I have been predicting for weeks that people are going to be mad and spit on this show just because the possibility of no Baekdo Endgame even though the show has been very obviously setting up that possibility from the beginning. I continue to be perplexed by people being shocked about it every week lol. That was an amazing episode for me as someone who cares about the other aspects of the drama.

I understand you, I feel that way with many dramas too πŸ˜… I am still interested in all the characters here though so still love the show and keep watching. Just not as excited about the romance as everyone else!

don't get me wrong but somehow it was more interesting when they were just comforting each other rather than lovers...everything…
If I'm honest I have to agree with you πŸ˜• They are cute now but less interesting than in the first half of the show when the focus was more on their individual dreams instead of their romance.

I'm not expecting a dramatic breakup or them hating each other forever but more of just going down separate roads in life. A huge messy breakup doesn't seem their style πŸ˜› Plus yep there's not that much time left in the story to deal with that. I think after this weekend we will have more of an idea how they are going to wrap it up. I hope so πŸ˜…

I agree, there’s a lot of emphasis on β€œenjoying the moment” in this drama. It has also taken quite a realistic…
Yep exactly! Even without thinking of the realism it would just be a little weird to me the way they are setting everything up if they're going to go "........but actually they're married forever!" Lol. Like imagining watching the drama again if they have actually been together this whole time is kind of weird to me. The emotions just wouldn't be the same.

Yep I have to agree with you that I am feeling kind of confused about his side of things now πŸ˜… I hope we get a clearer understanding of his feelings and intentions.

I'm with you, I'm quite fond of stories that celebrate the value of relationships (in general, not romantically…
Wish I could like this several times! We are on the same page and you put it into words much better than I could ☺️ Definitely agree, if that is the kind of ending we get they are going to have to convince me it's fitting for the drama and wouldn't just suck the emotions out of it, and I am having a hard time seeing that right now.

Because showing HD at 18 to 21 were pivitol points & changing times in her life. It was the first time she had…
I see what you mean but there certainly would be other time of great importance and change in her and Yi Jin's lives. The drama makes it feel like they are showing us this time because it is when this group was together before parting ways. Maybe fanservice isn't the right word but it feels like the ending that is there to make people happy rather than to fit the questions and themes the drama has been dealing with the whole time. I definitely don't want any of them to be dead I agree that would be weird at this point lol but if Hee Do and Yi Jin really have been married this whole time they will have to convince me it makes sense with the drama instead of just a way they were tricking the viewers.
On Twenty Five Twenty One Mar 25, 2022
I see people saying if it turns out Hee Do and Yi Jin aren't married in the end it defeats the purpose of the drama when I think the opposite πŸ˜… If in the end they go actually they were married the whole time then why the focusing on this time in their life, basing the drama off the song 2521, and having all these themes about enjoying the moments with the people you have while you have them? Why not show us 30/34 or any other time of their lives that were probably as impactful to them? Why so much focus on older Hee Do looking back, naming her shop 2521, and all that? I know this is an unpopular opinion πŸ˜… but I think it won't fit the drama if they have been together this whole time and it would lessen the meaning of it all for me, it feels too much like the easy way out, almost fanservice. I just do not see how it fits with the themes of the drama, is it just me?

What do you guys want?A rushed happy ending.A proper sad ending.
I think happy ending but that does not mean Hee Do and Yi Jin together as I feel that doesn't really go with the themes they have been building of appreciating what you have when you have it. I would like if both are alive but as long as the ending is well written I am okay.
Replying to Aditya Swizo Mar 23, 2022
I don't think it can retain 9.1 for long.It is only possible if it has happy ending. With a sad ending ratings…
For sure I doubt it will stay 9.1. I was just making a joke because I didn't expect the rating to climb like that πŸ˜…
