The first 7 seconds of OST "Very Slowly" when the tune comes just gives me instant goosebumps and to top it all,…
Agreed, the ost is great and the way they use it in the show is really perfect. It always comes in at just the right time to give me feelings even if I've heard the songs so many times before!
Tbh i will be happy with any of the proposed ending if the director does it in a logical way, that's all i ask…
Yep exactly same for me. There is no "if they do this I'll hate it, if they do this I'll love it" whatever they do I'm waiting to see how it works in the show that's all!
Am I the only one totally not stressed out about the ending/how the future turns out? 😅 If it weren't such a hot topic with everyone theorizing every week I honestly wouldn't even be thinking about it that much. I'll see how everything is when the show is totally over but at the moment I really don't feel concerned about it and it's not affecting my opinion of the show at all. I feel fully unbothered about it 😆
I have always wanted to understand fencing and this helps. I was already in love with the two leading actresses…
Yes as someone who knew nothing about fencing before this has been a fun watch :) I really love hearing from people who do sports who watch this show and relate!
Curious. Other than the obvious ones people have been saying (Reply Series, Our Beloved Summer) are there any dramas you feel are similar to 2521? I'd love to know, and especially if they are underappreciated dramas 😊
Is it just me that’s kinda bothered how JW asked HD to leave even when he saw YR being rude not handing her…
I think you have to remember that the other characters most often do not see the interactions that we see between Hee Do and Yu Rim since we're almost always in Hee Do's point of view. From Ji Woong's perspective Yu Rim is just a kind and pretty girl he crushes on. You can say the same, "Why didn't they yell at Hee Do when she acted all rude to Yu Rim saying 'one of us will have to go' at Yi Jin's welcoming?" and it's because they know Hee Do and Yu Rim don't get along after the drama they had but they don't know the details of what goes on in their private conversations.
As for part two true Yi Jin has handled his struggles very gracefully, he's great, but not everyone will handle things well, that's why each character is different and that's what makes it interesting :) Just because one person handled struggles well doesn't mean there's no need for sympathy for someone who handled it less well. Do you guys go to drug addicts and say "other people are also struggling but don't turn to drugs so what's wrong with you?" Obviously not (I hope lol) because that would be horribly judgmental and showing a lack of compassion. And yes Yi Jin lost everything but still the wounds of growing up impoverished for your whole life are very different to that and obviously that has contributed to Yu Rim's insecurity.
I think the wait for next episode might be the worst one yet 😣 The other cliffhangers were very exciting but this one was frustrating, not in a bad way necessarily but just in that I need to see it resolved asap.
Feel what you feel but can we stop with the b**** word when talking about teenage girls? The misogyny...
You're awesome for that :) It's mostly because of the sheer number of comments like that—it gets upsetting to read after a while. Thank you very much for responding positively!
I thought that the conversations between Heedo's mom & her granddaughter & Yijin & Yurim were good as they revealed…
I think I understand why Yu Rim didn't apologize now that I'm seeing what they're trying to do (at least what it *seems* like they're trying to do) with the chat reveal. It appears like they will be using that to have Yu Rim do some reflection and then the secret will come out and they can start to close the gap. I guess if Yu Rim already apologized this episode then it would diminish the plot point of the chat reveal, because it would be like having the apology before the reflection. I could be wrong but that's how it seems to me 😅 I do agree though the conversation between Hee Do's mom and Min Chae left an odd taste, I feel like I don't get what they were going for.
now that yurim knows who ryder37 is then she's gonna realize that she basically trashtalked herself, sided her…
Yes! I think this is a good writing choice if it leads to her reflecting on all that. I really hope we get that. And you're right it is pretty funny actually 😂
