You sound like someone who love the journey as well as the destination. If thatās true, even if XL were not her destination, I understood that he has a beautiful and long journey with FL, all the way to the end of the series.

Despite all the summer hits with big names released so far, I couldnāt find anything that is so captivating since TTEOTM. Thankfully LYF is here, it has so much potential to be a masterpiece. Hope that the coming episodes keep up with this pace.
I have never been super impressed with Yang Zi but her acting is 10/10 here, the actors do not disappoint either.
Ye Shi Qi has been a walking green flag so far. He cooked, cleaned, bought her flowers, did his best to make her happy, a kind heart.
What surprised me was that the guy is also very smart and a little cunning. He got that she was a woman early in the days, or who was behind the seductress plot. He thought about life and emotions through different philosophical lenses and shared that with her. He took the poison and felt straight into her arms. He told her āroad is slipperyā so that he can carry her back home.
I used to be so attracted to toxic violent characters, as I got older, somehow, the kind souls who are smart, caring and a little cunning became the most attractive ones for me.
At ep 6 now and even when I find Xiang Liu hot, I am still team Jing / Deng Wei. I had butterflies when he took away her cane and āprincess carriedā her all the way back home.
ā¦ and his look when she asked what kind of women do you want to marry. His eyes said āitās you, itās you babe!ā, sheās not blushing, I am blushing.
I heard that there are not cut scenes in the special episode, only interviews of the leadsā interpretations of the story and the audio only dialogue read out we have seen on twitter already. I am saving my money on this one.
Please donāt blame the script writers, they wrote a decent ending with many loose ends tied, Pian Ran came back as a fox, Nian Bai Yu married and had kid. Most importantly, TTJ came back to meet his daughter.
