These are actually really good points and would make the arc more significant. I haven’t read the novel but who knows, its is very possible that they’ve changed things. It also makes sense because novel readers say dream arc is very short, only a few chapters but the show spent a lot of episodes on it so it must really be important. We shall see.

Yes its suppose to be him. Before he dies in the dream they show his face (TTJ) for a second without the mask. But I’m pretty sure it was another actor when he was fighting MY with the mask just because its easier to shoot it that way.
I watched the first episode and I didn’t like the ghost/demon things and how they’ve done them. I love Xianxia and Wuxia but this felt too comical and odd. Is that a big part of the show or just first episode?

I suppose he spent all of his time learning how to fight and be a warrior that he neglected relationship and communication skills. I also feel like he never thought he would marry or fall in love so it was a shock and too new for him, like a teenager
