I've only seen him in Yumi's cells but thought he was excellent at portraying a goofy, chill character. I think…
Yeah, I also saw that show. You can play a 'goofy' person and still have sharp/fierce expressions. (Example, Kim Woo Bin, when he was in the comedy movie "Twenty.") And didn't Ahn Bo Hyun play a rugged nerd charcter with longer hair and a bit of facial hair in Yumi's Cells too? Not a strong comparison. I'm sure he can be 'fine' acting wise, (emotional range, voice, behaviors etc.) but a face is a face haha. Just my opinion.
I've been watching this man for years since NIF thinking ahhhhhh only 3 years older than me and he's made so many connections already 🥹❤️🩹 I cant believe he went under the radar for me. He grows on you!
I've been pretending for months I don't care about this drama so it can roll up on me and I can be like "ewww so cliche let's watch it to make fun of it"
ABH is built like a truck and he's one of my favorite Korean actors. Funnily enough, although he's lost weight, I'm worried about the role. Losing weight aside, he has fierce almost canine-like expressions. I wonder if he can/will be able to soften them for this character.
Well the legal system in China is quite different from that of the West. The prosecution wins 99.96pct of the…
Yes! I knew a Chinese-American lawyer that said the same thing. The difference in legality and litigation does not concern me. It's an entire different country, just like I wouldn't cmpare the law in the U.S to my home city in Nigeria, I'm not obsessing over similarities and differences concerning American law. I also watched many Korean law dramas, and although Korea is a 'capitalistic democracy' it is a part of the continental inquisitorial system, so I'm already fined tuned to legal differences.
Tbh I'm up for anything with good cases that makes sense, or is explained logically.
Taecyeon is my 2PM bias but it seems he's abandoning the thriller and mystery roles. I know his acting isn't as…
For years Hottest and the Kmedia have noticed it...that Taecyeon has been in the industry for so long (I think his debut was Cinderella's Sister) and yet his growth doesnt match the resources hes been given and all the dramas/media hes been in. I'm not saying he's a horrible actor at all! But solid for me wouldn't be the right word either...mediocre or average seems to be it. Like he's just getting by. His character in Vincenzo was novel for him, but tbh playing a maniacal cartoonish villain like that shouldnt have been the 'breakthrough' for an actor like Taecyeon. Just my two-cents. Now that I think about it, you're right, he doesn't have to be in a very serious role to be taken more seriously. A well written rom-com would do, but I feel like he's been purposely avoiding those.
:') I felt my heart break into tiny pieces at the end.
Also GOD I hate watching historical Cdramas on Viki. It's either 'This is so confusing' even though the clue was discussed in the last two episodes or "I'm rating this down because the ending was sad" LIKE OMG BFFR.
Surprisingly, the audience of this drama on Viki (the ones that stuck through to the end) were very rational. I just hated how people diminished Sizhi's death as an annoying or unnecessary plot point that could have been avoided...as if they didn't understand the BIGGEST theme of this drama are interpersonal relationships vs. the greater good, and what people are willing to give up.
I thought his death, and Xiaohe's part in it...was beautiful.
*btw her name is spelled as Dilraba (not Dilralba) and yes the female lead of snow snow eagle lord also is from…
Haha I've been her fan for years I have no idea why my phone doesn't automatically correct to Dilraba. Its either Dilralba or Dillard ☠️. But ok, thanks for the info! Speaking of Dilraba she also has a new drama airing
I'm disappointed this is coming before Wonderland of Love... Anything for Xu Kai I guess.
This actress I've never seen before! Her name sounds very unique! It's giving me Dilralba, it's reminiscent to me of Xinjiang province. Is she also a Uyghur?
