This drama is definitely weird, but it's good ! After all it's science-fiction, it not being weird wouldn't be very good. I still like that format of one episode of around 50 minutes per week very enjoyable too. Can't wait for the next episodes.

Ohlala, you're a science student but don't know what is science-fiction ? Your life must be hard if you get angry at any S-F film/series made in this universe...

People complaining about Disney+ should stop. It has works this way from the beginning of the platform. And having difficulties to watch K-shows when living abroad is something that anybody have experienced since 15/20 years. Yes, there is delay, depending on where someone lives, to watch some of the shows on Disney+, but in the end you can still watch it later (we only just had "Captain Marvel" in France, well, that's veeeeery late but I'm still happy to finally rewatch it). I personally don't have Netflix, well, I find other ways to watch the K-dramas productions of this platform, that's it. And the same goes for other platforms or dramas only aired on domestical TVs. Internet still offers various and easy possibilities to watch countless content so whining over Disney+ is really a joke.
Anyway, looking forward to "Big Mouse" and the return of Lee Jong Suk !

Each has its own charm. I like everything. I like historical drama, I like action, I like romance and humanism. I like them all. And I would like to continue to appear in various genres. Recently, I want to take action again, and I think that historical drama seems to be interesting. Romance is also good.)

Are we having a new sageuk with JCW soon, combining a charismatic historical character entangled in powerful fights with a touching and out of time romance ?! That would be perfect. ^^

"Healer", "The K2", "Empress Ki" were his most popular dramas, "Fabricated City", "Warrior Baek Dong Soo" and "Lovestruck in the City" were well received too (this last one being his favourite work as he said in his most recent interview), but it depends on everyone taste of course.

Well, not bad, it's funny, but it would be better if it wasn't so cliché I think.

Lucky to play the son of Jang Hyuk's character, it must be a good experience for him as an actor. Looking forward to it, I bet it will be a conflicted father/son relationship, based on the characters descriptions.

Maybe a little between Lee Tae and Yoo Jung, unless it's only a political/power relationship and it's a "serious" sageuk, which I hope.

It's a cinema release, starting today in Korea actually.

Well, at least one more year to wait for this epic adventure. But that's still a good news.
I don't understand the speculation around the actors though. It's unlikely that they will change famous actors of a big and popular production like this.

Yes there is an end, but that open to the season 2 story. ^^So no, not a standalone season.

Your extra point is especially true for me. And for Korean, one of the beauty of the 하소서체 often used in sageuk is the form of the language itself. It sounds different. And the way they speech too. Figures of speech are used more often (emphasis and metaphors), which makes the language much more beautiful. People who don't speak fluently enough might missed that because the translations often loose the beauty and impact of the original language, but the way the characters speak still make it beautiful I think.

It seems like K-dramas on Disney+ will be only available for Asian area when airing and then available worldwide later a different dates. At least for the first ones it looks like that. I hope it will change in the future.

Snowdrop is available on Disney+ France since two weeks, but there are movies that are available on Disney+ UK since last year that we still don't have... So, yes, I agree, that's annoying that despite being a global platform the content is different depending on the countries (it's because all countries don't have the same laws and contracts regarding distribution actually).

Well, that was weird. Is it good ? I don't know. Right now it's just weird to me. Weird and interesting. I was captivated actually, because I was surprised it was already the end of the episode. I like that shorter format too, it's a fresh change compared to the usual two episodes of 1 hour each week. And I'm quite happy to see Seo Kang Joon again. Looking forward for the next episode.

Well, I think it's up to everybody to make his own judgment depending on morals and how you see the world. Jae Goo is a difficult character. He is clearly bad as he takes advantage of poor and disabled people, have desire for a little girl and seems very selfish. But in the same time, he has a nice side as he really helps them too, genuinely care for Soon Yeong and clearly show remorse when he watches the picture he took with them and cry. Good people do bad things. Bad people do good things. That's what I like about this movie, portraying without judgement that life and people are complex and not just bad or good.

This is a very good movie. Not easy subjects to deal with but it was done cleverly and very well by the director and the cast. That's the kind of movie that perfectly portray that the world is grey and people not black or white, and that where there is bad there might also be good. I like that non-judgmental way to film difficult subjects. Special mention to Yoon Park for taking this role, but also to Go Na Hee who is a very good child actor and Shin Jung Keun and Jang So Yeon.

A villain character would be perfect indeed. In an historical/period movie or drama it would be even better for me.

I had few doubts several times (the humorous side at the beginning, the ex-girlfriend), but in the end it is a very good movie. The cast is great, Seo Hyun and Lee Jun Young being really good. Especially Lee Jun Young, he did a great job considering the difficulty to pull off well such character.
