Can't wait for the last episodes with Jung Hae In and Ji Chang Wook. Heartthrobs final ! ^^

There is always something strange for me with these "school violence" and "self-defense violence leading to prison" themes Korean movies : I kind of dislike it at the beginning, because I find it too much, too exaggerated, but in the same time it's fascinating and in the end really good. Even more when the whole cast do such a good job. Wi Ha Joon and Kim Min Seok, as well as Jung Won Chang are great in it.

Yes we will see. I hope we will at least see her giving birth to Crown Prince Moonhyo.

On the same page regarding the flaws, and I'm wondering what they added thanks to the supplementary episode too. But still, it has been a long time I haven't been this excited about a sageuk, wanting to see the next episodes so bad and it's truly thank to the amazing cast. Junho keeps shining, he will definitely make it big as an actor too in the future.

The images of the drama set in watercolors at the end of each episode are superb. It would be great if they made an album out of it.

Well, that might be the case based on the preview at the end of episode 15 when we see Deok Im in the bath and then the bedroom.

Anybody here will recommend it I think. ^^ There is comedy and it's actually well made for me, not too much, not too often.

Yes exactly, that's my sentiment too. Many little flaws, but the actors do a really great job and it's still a very great drama.

Well, they could have show a siblings reunion at least. We never saw him again. And this part of the novel story not added in the drama is even more a flaw for me. I doubt they will take time of the last episodes to show such side story. The time and situation jumps are too abrupt too in the latest ones. That's little flaws but I notice it even more because I like the drama very much.

There are still two episodes remaining but one flaw of the storyline his Deok Im’s brother. He made an appearance and disappeared since then like he never existed. When she left the palace, she could have gone to him but he is never mentioned and it’s like she has nowhere to go. That’s not consistent for me.

Well, Ui Bin (born Seong Deok Im) did become royal noble consort, the mother of the first crown prince of king Jeongjo and was known for being the only woman he truly loved, so I have no doubts regarding their couple and the ending of the drama (except if they chose to change that in the drama). But it's a good example (actually kind of a bad one ^^) of a reinterpretation of History through modern eyes. It still is a good drama, and I love the great job that the actors do, despite not really liking what the writer and director chose to do with the relationship of the two main characters.

I don't know if it's because they chose to add one episode or not, but the drama doesn't have the same rhythm anymore and many things feel rushed now unfortunately. I really like this drama so it's too bad. As for Deok Im, that's the best example of how to make a nice character so hateful. ^^

They find ways to do it even in historical dramas so I'm not surprised anymore hahaha.

Yes that's true. And it's more often the case actually. Which is a good thing in the end otherwise the dropping rate would be much more high.

That's true, I experienced it actually haha. I think this controversy will just die as the drama moves on and people will just think "so much for that ?" at the end. I like the drama, I'm a big fan of Jung Hae In, I'm pleasingly surprised by Ji Soo as an actress and all the cast is good, but that's not the story and the drama of the century honestly so... ^^

The 3 episodes were scheduled even before the drama started (the message by Jung Hae In and Ji Soo was made during the press conference). As a Christmas gift for viewers. Clearing the controversy is just an additional reason. As for the rest of the drama, well, we will see, there is countless dramas that started good, or bad, and went the other way mid-way or at the end. ^^

Actually, the message promoting the 3 episodes with Jung Hae In and Ji Soo was made during the press conference, before the drama started airing. Because this week it was at the same time as Christmas, they wanted to make it a special gift for viewers. And as the controversy started again when the drama started too, it was used as an additional reason to clear the controversy, as JTBC mentioned in their latest announcement. ;)
