thank you for your comment. I was curious what korean people were thinking about it to be honest and it's good…
I was curious about the real impact in Korea, and that's kind of what my Korean friends told me too, even one who is active in politic for the 더불어민주당 and is watching the drama. The thing, here, on MDL, is that some people think because there is articles over internet about this on Hallyu specialized websites, it's a "hot" issue, when most of people just don't give a s*** about it in Korea.

"The Koreans". Really ? 50 millions Koreans said they don't want it ?! Wouah, I probably must call my Koreans friends to tell them they are not truly Koreans as they enjoy watching it. Same for all the people involved in making this drama. They should probably emigrate...

Haha, yes indeed. I was really happy when Kevin posted about it two days ago. ^^

Person Woo Do Hwan
Can’t wait for his come back, I think he gained some weight or maybe muscles in his face 💪 he was my favorite…
Yes me too, I hope "Bloodhound" will be good. And he sure looks even sharper than before army service. He has really a very unique handsomeness. He impressed me from the beginning and become one of my favourite instantly. Now he has a free road ahead of him to be an amazing actor.

It depends, not everyone would be outraged. It's all about how something is put together; If the topic is handled…
Yep exactly. ;)

No of course, not everyone, and thankfully. But unfortunately "people" in general don't treat things respectfully or rationally, but rather emotionally so I'm pretty sure this would have create a "controversy" if the woman had the role of the slave. That's not the case and that's good, I look forward to it as I wrote.

I personally look forward to it. But in the same time, that's really annoying how many people are excited about this, but would have been "outraged" if the roles were reversed...

Oh interesting, thank you. Yes exactly it was already in that episode. Well, wait and see then. I'm pretty sure that's Kevin Oh singing.

so kdrama directors just love to introduce some good for nothing, irritating character like boon ok!and why the…
This kind of characters are needed for series and movies too. Stories would be boring if it was Bisounours Land all the time. And actors playing these roles get a lot of credits for it. It will be the same for her I believe. It's not easy to play an antagonist.

^^ That's nice of you, but I didn't found anything yet. In episode 11 it's the one played during the scene where Soo Ho is listening to Young Ro's recorded cassette.
Can't wait to see what he recorded himself by the way !

Anybody would give the world to a Jung Hae In smiling. ^^
That last scene of episode 11 made up for all the frustrations of the past episodes.
Still a little bit weak regarding the development of the story to me, but the cast is so amazing in their roles that I can't really dislike it.
Also, there is definitely Kevin Oh singing a song of the OST. I'm not mistaking, right ? Where is it ?!

That's actually quite a good movie. Of course, not a realistic sageuk. It's a comedy but with a strong story. To watch without taking it too seriously in my opinion. With that in mind, it's well done.

What a beautiful movie. I expected one more kind of cliché romance but it was much better and very good. It was like going back to more simple times too. A comforting time travel and bittersweet romance. I’m glad I watched it only now.

It was time. Really don't understand the edit policy here sometimes... ^^ He looks great, that's the most important.

And the emotional roller-coaster keeps going on. ^^
That's still really good overall, but there are some points that really bother me, like the characters being too lucky to find things or coincidences. Especially the character of Lee Kang Moo. Like the guy escapes from his ties 4 times in two episodes, knock down a man, altough injured, but just with one leg, and after being beaten up like pulp by a hunk Im Soo Ho, just reverse the situation in few seconds despite just eating some bread in days... Nope, not buying all that even if it's for the sake of the plot.
Honestly I was hoping that the hostage situation was finally over at the end of episode 9, but now we are in for more episodes. ^^ It's interesting but a little bit dragged on too for me, even if there are things happening. I think for a movie it's okay this kind of huit-clos, even if it last for most of its time, but it's been 5 episodes of 1h30 so it's getting repetitive and boring.
I didn't expected the blowing end though hahaha.

Hahaha, a long hair men fetish fellow ! ^^

Like you, it was a man with long hair that made me fall in this trap hole that is Korean dramas. And it was none other than Ji Chang Wook as Ta Hwan, and then Emperor Huizong, in "Empress Ki".
But back when I was younger, long hair characters or historical figures have always been my favorite (Lord of the Rings's Elves come on !).

Jang Hyuk has let his hair grown naturally for many sageuk, like "Chuno" for example. Others Korean long hair heartthrobs, even if not playing in sageuk, are of course Kim Jae Wook, No Min Woo, and Ryu Jun Yeol for me.

I don't watch Chinese dramas, but I love the visuals I see here, and few movies like "Hero", "House of Flying Daggers" or "Curse of the Golden Flower" left a huge impression on me back when I was a teenager.

I just love long hair people. Women with very long and silky hair are the most beautiful for me, so of course, Asian people with long hair are on the top. :)

P.S. : Korean topknot, sangtu, was reserved to men that were married. That's why guards and villains are portrayed mostly with long loose hair, because they are likely single or free-spirited characters.
