the show is being opposed in Korea so jtbc airs 3 eps this week cuz misunderstanding about distortions of history…
That's not really true. The message promoting the 3 episodes with Jung Hae In and Ji Soo was made during the press conference, so before the drama started airing. The reason is because this week it was at the same time as Christmas. They wanted to make it a special gift for viewers. And as the controversy started again when the drama started too, it was used as an additional reason to clear the controversy.

Aight probably this is capitalist propaganda considering the writer and channel. but I don’t get the intention…
Any Korean drama (except sageuk) is a "capitalist propaganda". It's even more than American series... ^^ Anyway, toggle on "Spoiler" please, as you are revealing elements of the story. ;)

The political aspect of the show is really poorly written, in fact, written so poorly, I don't understand why…
I'm not so critical on the political aspect of the drama, but that's exactly the reason why JTBC stood against the protesters. It's not a political drama. The political background is just a set for the dramatic romance.

Just this week.
Actually no, the message promoting the 3 episodes with Jung Hae In and Ji Soo was made during the press conference, so just before the drama started airing. Because this week it was at the same time as Christmas, they wanted to make it a special gift for viewers. And as the controversy started again when the drama started too, it was used as an additional reason to clear the controversy. The core protesters will not back up until the drama finish airing, but from Koreans point of views (I asked my friends about it), it's really not a big deal in Korea. Most of people don't care about it.

Person Ji Chang Wook
For those interested (and for the so-called fans always complaining about his latest roles and dramas choices),…
"As I mentionned earlier, your body of work is very diverse! Do you have a favorite genre or project as an actor ? Are there other genres you want to try? What stories do you want to tell through your roles?
- In the case of "Lovestruck in the City", I chose it because I wanted to talk about realistic love. After that drama, I got into thinking about how I should live my life, and it make me want to do work on humanism. So, my next work will have that kind of story. It's a piece where you can see what people from different generations like if you watch it as a family.
It would also be fun to try action again before I get older. I think I consciously avoided action after working on "The K2". If I ever do action again, I would probably try to approach it differently now that I'm 34. So, I'd like to give it another try.

How do you choose your projects?
- I think it depends on the story I'm more interested in telling at the time. For example, in the case of "Lovestruck in the City", I chose it because I thought, "Now I want to talk about love."
After that, I thought I wanted to try another genre of work, so I chose that. I choose the work I do while faithfully following my feelings at the time."

Person Ji Chang Wook
For those interested (and for the so-called fans always complaining about his latest roles and dramas choices), here is some extracts of his latest interview for the winter edition of L'Officiel Philippines where Ji Chang Wook talks about the roles he chooses and why :

"Being typecast and being stuck in one role isn't usually something actors want to do, but if you could only play one type of character for the rest of your career, what would that be?
- That's a difficult question... But if I had to! Just one! [It would be] the humanistic genre that tells people's stories.

This is a cliche, but do you have any dream roles ?
- It varies a lot every time, depending [where I'm at psychologically], my feelings, and interests. I think it will be fun to try genres that a little out of reality, but I'm still very interested in humanism."

Same lol. As a full-time writer I'm ALL for creative freedom, but NOT when it's essentially far-right propaganda…
Of course, but that doesn't change my point. As for your political suppositions, even if it was a fact, that would not change my point of view either, as there is always movies or series promoting political ideologies. It's not because I dislike one that it should be forbidden to air on TV or in cinemas.
If anyone truly believes that "Snowdrop" is a propaganda drama after watching it, and that it will influence a presidential election, they should seriously consider take a break for a moment because their mind is boiling. People are crazy if they think that now, if a drama or a movie has different political ideas than them it should be banned. What a scary world these people want to live in. That's called North Korea right now...

On Choo Young Woo Dec 23, 2021
The more I watch Choo Young Woo, the more I think he would be perfect to play in a sageuk. Of course he would be dazzling as a crown prince, but even to play a yangban, a military official or a scholar he would be great. He has this percing gaze and "noble" side that's perfect for these roles.

Ah, right. People can do no wrong. Never. JTBC are known to be angels and they have nonconnections to the right…
"And it has nothing to do with you, cause as i see you are neither korean neither have relatives who were in the protest. This affects korean people. Not you. So mind your business and let them decide what to say in their own country" Ah thank you for the opportunity. You don't know me and and you don't know if have ties or not with this events so please apply your own "advice" to you, because once again, Koreans are more than 50 millions in South Korea, not just few hundreds of thousands people signing a petition. And I actually let them protest if they want. Have you seen me in Korea protesting against the petition ?

So when someone use the same argument as you but in the opposite way logic is lost but of course when you use that argument that's the almighty truth.
Well, no, that's not how life works. And you know nothing about me or my personal history so stop making judgments on me.

If JTBC has connections with the People Power Party, or if other broadcasters have connections with the Democratic Party of Korea, what will it change concretely in your daily life ?

Unlike you he didn't personally attacked someone for his appearance. If you can't understand that, I'm very glad to be among these "you people are" whatever it might mean to you.

"The ignorance is truly mind-blowing."
If 50 millions Koreans or so are not opposing it, there must be a valid reason, no ? Nobody stops to think that...

Wouah, straight racism, discrimination or whatever you want to call it, to pretend to defend all Asian people on the planet. You deserve a gold medal seriously. Hop, comment reported. You should go get some fresh air before attacking people like that.

Those ratings are wrongfully manipulated to be low. It doesn't reflect the real sentiment of the watchers. And…
Well, I think that in general many people will not bother rate something they didn't really watch or quickly dropped. And depending on how many people watched and rated a drama, comparison between dramas rates are irrelevant. That's why I personally don't think rates on MDL really matter, expect for personal usage.

It's fiction but it's tone deaf fiction. Imagine, if you will, a drama about the Holocaust which pictured Jewish…
This comparison is extremely outrageous towards Jewish people. Very shameful. But in the end, to answer your question, yes, it would still be a fiction.
