You're welcome! I share your ambivalence about diagnoses. In my country, the U.S., diagnosing is a dominant practice, but this clinical approach falls down when I try to understand cdramas. When I experience the character arcs in the list, I get a sense that traits that would be called neurodiverse are understood, valued, and supported by community. From the outside, it seems like social and family networks provide scaffolding. Also, cdrama characters' neurodiverse traits exist in the context of their life story, rather than taking over their identity.
