A lot of Japanese and Chinese BL novels are pretty dark, especially the older ones.Feel What You Feel and Secrets…
Feel What You Feel is mainland China, the production is Hong Kong. It is like saying Meet You at the Blossom is a Thai bl and not Chinese because the production is Thai owned even when all the actors are Chinese themselves.
I wouldn't call Secrets Happened on the Litchi Island a short drama. The movie version is 1 hr. 16 min.
i dont know how toxic this will go. but from the opening it looks like it will be a happy ending.
Lu Feng is possessive, obsessive, emotionally intense, and honestly a toxic maniac 😭 He loves deeply but in a very unhealthy and destructive way, and it only gets darker as the story progresses.
Yes the novel has a happy ending but the first movie had a sad ending.
I'm sorry but the actor playing Yi Chen is so bad here... His acting is stiff af and the way he clearly doesn't…
His acting wasn’t stiff. You can prefer the original actor without tearing this one down. The actor from the original version of A Round Trip to Love was definitely amazing.
But this is literally just the second episode 😭 the critique already feels way too harsh. Different actors portray emotions differently, and i think people should at least give him more time before acting like he completely failed the role.
How else was he supposed to act? So far he has portrayed the role perfectly.
Yi Chen is supposed to be restrained, innocent, genuine, and emotionally guarded. He’s not meant to be overly dramatic or expressive.
My baby is so innocent arhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I have no idea what is happening.
Feel What You Feel and Secrets Happened on the Litchi Island are Chinese green flag BLs.
Xie Yan is crazy
