Really, I like shows that actually build realistic attraction. I don't expect all shows to be overly explicit. I just would like to see something that looks real. It could be any level of intimacy: holding hands, seductive glances, genuine smiles, warm hugs, realistic kisses.

GMMTV gives a lot of over-the-top kisses that lack any real tension-building and passion. They look fake on purpose. It's part of their formula.

There are super cute shows that have almost no NC scenes, and I really liked them because the level of intimacy was supported by the script.

But I really appreciated and respect your detailed response to my comment. You took your time and stated your opinion. So thank you for the time you took to articulate your thoughts.

By all means, enjoy your show. There are many shows that I like that some people don't, and I never let that stop me or change my opinion.

I don't comment on most shows that I don't like, but GMMTV is the exception because they should do better. They have no excuse; they have the talent, resources, institutional backing, investors, and fanbase.

Sorry, I touched a nerve. But it's ok. These are just shows, and I don't take any MDL comments personally.

At the end of the day, I will continue to comment on any show I feel like it.

Based on your response, you sound very offended. And I was just stating my opinion on a show. I didn't know you were an actor in the series or one of the content creators.

I think your insecurities are showing because you should be able to ignore comments you don't agree with.

When I comment on shows I really like, I gravitate toward like-minded comments.

I just have fun enjoying the show with people who like it just as much as I do.

I never bother with negative comments because I don't care. lol

Your assessment is wrong. I dislike GMMTV because their show creators are lazy and greedy.

I'm not giving WillainEst a negative review; I'm giving GMMTV a negative review because WillainEst has a unique chemistry that is underutilized in "You Manic".

Their talent is better than what GMMTV produces. I like BL pairs from all production companies and countries, including GMMTV. And for the record, Chinese shows are my favorite.

Other Thai production companies, including DMD, give their actors better material to work with, so naturally I enjoy those shows better because the plots are interesting and the actors get to showcase their talents, unlike GMMTV, who have their actors boxed into their ridged money making formula.

At the end of the day, that's my point, and I'm standing here until GMMTV proves me wrong.

My main issue with this series and other GMMTV series is that GMMTV actors are more talented than the material they are given. Obviously, WilliamEst's chemistry has a unique, intriguing quality. That's without question.

But I truly believe if given the opportunity, they could portray very complex, emotional, deep characters. Probably give riveting performances that would satisfy the most discerning viewers.

But GMMTV fans are happy with mediocre shows, so greedy GMMTV gives just what it has to. Which is why other BL production companies have been able to expand. That's why China is producing more shows now, and DMD's new-generation stars are shining brightly and capturing so many new fans because GMMTV is losing ground and will continue to lose ground.

I actually like some of GMMTV pairs and would like to see them in better-quality shows.

Here is a good example of my point:

BounPrem in "Between Us", which shot them to international stardom.
and
BounPrem in Revamp, which had everyone scratching their heads and asking what happened.

If I finish the series, and that's a big if, it will be on 2x speed, mixed with 10-second jumps. lol

So, to GMMTV, my opinion doesn't matter because they can't make any money off me other than my paid subscriptions to streaming channels.
So you should ignore me and enjoy this overhyped, simple, basic, predictable, same as all the other GMMTV series.

I'm not part of anybody's fandom.
I just like to drag GMMTV because their MM pairs and viewers deserve better.
I truly believe that, if given the chance, GMMTV pairings could make amazing shows. They are very talented performers, but GMMTV sucks lemons.

Easy to predict based on this simple fact. The show is dependent on Williams Est pairing so the show can't let them be apart for too long.
My predictions

1. Dean and Moth will only have small disagreements that are resolved quickly.

2. The next episode will center around Moth's character. He will start to lose his controlled demeanor and become more carefree.

3. Then Dean's character will start to become more accommodating to Moth's interests. He will change his behavior and become a "Green Flag Trustworthy Boyfriend."

4. There should be some kind of cheating/jealousy drama. It will be an ex of Dean's or a new partner that appears better suited for Moth. Could be a combination of both. Either way, Dean and Moth will miss each other and get back together.

5. Dean and Moth will probably cohabit but not marry.

6. Based on the show's dynamic, Dean will fall in love first, and Moth will fall in love the hardest.

7. When Pun realizes that Dean and Moth are serious, he will break down, and Ten will be there to help him; thus, their relationship starts. It will be painfully slow but sweet. Ten will win Pun over because of his devotion and sincerity. Pun will find that comforting. They will have one kissing scene. But their relationship will be underdeveloped. Probably a couple's date in episode 11 and/or 12. To the beach or camping.

Yeah, the issue is GMMTV show creators. The storylines and characters are so flimsy and lack depth.

And the kissing and NC scenes are a joke. Just stop! These actors can't even fake real tension or sexual attraction.

I actually think it's on purpose, to keep their fans engaged. It's like GMMTV is afraid to let their actors have any real, meaningful intimacy.

Just compare any Thai or Chinese non-GMMTV m/m pairs' intimacy to all of GMMTV pairs.

GMMTV will lose every comparison.
