Title Glass Heart
only watched the first episode and already fan girling a little over Machida Keita princess carrying Sato Takeru. I did not recognise Suda Masaki, only when I remembered he was in this, I went back to check. I guess I'll better be off to avoid reading all the comments and reviews.

I really love the OST! that was an excessive amount of flower throwing in the last episode xD

The Chinese equivalent to Valentine's day is called Qixi, alsways happens on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month.
About 520: Now I am reading a lot on baidu and they said it first appeared in 1999 and became popular to use in beginning of the 2000s, then around 2010 they started to make it a thing to express their love on the 20th of May and called it the "Internet Valentine's day". I also read that 520 is for the guy to confess and 521 is for the girl to accept. Sorry, if I said too much here, I just didn't know it in this detail myself. :D

I don't quite understand how "Wan an" which means good night is similar to "ai ni" which is love you in pinyin.…

if it was all the letters of Wan an could be "I love you, love you" xD
Sometimes this internet slang stuff sounds a bit far fetched to me. Same is also with the rent money she calculated wrongly and sent back to him: 520 . In Chinese it reads as "Wu Er Ling" and they say it sounds like "Wo Ai Ni" aswell.

Title I Am What I Am Spoiler
It's interesting you'd say that, seeing it is apparently obvious from most people's point of view. But I can tell…
I made the example to explain why I think same actions could be sending different signals depending on what people expect.
I agree learning social cues and reading situations usually helps to avoid a misunderstanding!
Still I don't see anyone at fault. I think it's understandable from his point of view that he read her actions the way he did. But at the same time I completely believe she did not intentionally send any signals, as they had both expressed at their first meeting they weren't interested in dating and marriage. I would've probably acted the same as she did until this situation where he asked to go into her room. You could tell she was hesitating aswell, but then maybe thought it was fine since they're "just friends" - a wrong assumption from her side.

To be fair the awkward(weird was the wrong word) situations I got into were with people I didn't know well. It would be too much for me to talk about private matters upfront with them. But maybe you have a good tipp for me how you usually kill any unwanted expectations? "Kill" sounds a bit harsh to me, but I guess it's necessary. ^^ I am just a bit of a people pleaser and don't want to come off as rude.

I'm surprised she didn't think that guy would misunderstand their friendship. It was pretty obvious he was giving…
It's interesting you'd say that, seeing it is apparently obvious from most people's point of view. But I can tell you it is not from a person, who is not interested in a romantic relationship with the other. You know I have been in so many weird situations, cause I suddenly found out in the middle of a conversation that the other person did not just want to hang out and get to know each other as friends. I literally went through our conversations in my head afterwards to try and find those signals.
I think a lot of this happens because of our different assumptions and views. I sometimes think it's like a different culture. For example I heard before that hugging in France means you are romantically interested in the other person, whereas in Germany we might hug even friends of friends that we just met. But the fleeting kissing on the cheek on the other hand is something mostly only women would do with close friends here, but in France it's like a totally normal greeting even for people you're not close to.
Sorry for the rant it's just sometimes I wonder why I don't understand others and why others don't understand my view. And I do think it's because we have a different assumption of what's "normal" and that's why we tend to see what we think is normal.

very well said! For me the movies special point was really her being clear about who she is and never doubting herself, her struggle was with the society and the fear of those around her not accepting it.

Quite exciting drama and captivating story overall, but I have one question: how come Bungaeman guy didn't loose his job as a busdriver? He must've wrecked at least 2 busses and been reported for dangerous driving! xD
But in all seriousness, I think the NIS would be so powerful if they could cover up all those people with special abilities.

True, the scene did feel like it was now sort of established they're a family. I really like your idea of the family morning! I would've even been happy with a scene where they have the official talk, something like Eun Ho and Ji Hyun sitting down with Byeol and explain they're a couple etc.

hahah I wondered the same. I sometimes get really annoyed with these drama children who are just there for the cuteness and conveniently dissapear for the romance. Like they never even officially told her they're dating. It was just assumed she was fine with it, cause she said she wanted daddy to be happy and liked the "cool Eonnie". Also about the fact she calls a woman that age "Eonnie" is quite problematic imo, like we get it she doesn't want to feel old, but if she's going to be her future mother figure come on!

I'm thinking about to watch this drama, but I'm not sure yet.Can someone please let me know, what this drama is…
I just finished watching and I highly recommend to watch it, if you also enjoy slice of life genre and are interested in the Kazakh nomadic lifestyle. Although there are main characters I wouldn't say it's all about them. You get a short insight into different people's life and a lot of times you just watch them interact in their everyday life. I enjoy this kind of storytelling very much, because it seems very authentic to me.Even with just 8 episodes it really made me feel like I was part of their community, which usually only Japanese slice of life drama and movies are able to do that for me. I hope that helps you get a feel about this drama, but I'd say don't judge it from the first episode.

hahaha yes! they feel more like siblings or friends to me. but who knows maybe that's the point, to show how they transition from childhood friends into lovers. They might be able to pull that off in later episodes. I'm still going to keep watching, now that I'm already here.

I only watched the first 15 Minutes and omg how the f*ck did the dog teleport onto this window sill?! and then she told the girl not to leave the dog in dangerous places. huh?! I know it's not that important, but I don't think I will continue this drama if it's that poorly written. xD

Can anyone tell me how is the drama???is it worth to watch??
I've watched 4 episodes and can't really say I am invested in the story or any of the characters. there is no real mystery vibe, which I expected from a setting like this. I mean at this point we already know who the bad and good guys are, what they're looking for and their motives. It's like they take any factors that could capture your interest and make you guess what's going on, and already eliminated them from the beginning. Not sure I will continue watching this..Jo Han Chul and Joo Won's talent honestly seems kind of wasted on this. I should rewatch Gaksital instead.

agree with the story being flat. but what did you see in the fl? she is too much of the typical "strong girl cop" for me. the only thing that would make her character interesting to me, is if she suddenly ended up being a thief herself or working for one of the rich bad guys.
On Weak Hero Class 1 Jan 4, 2023
Finally I managed to finish. I know people love this and I can see why. I think the acting was superb! But the story...toxic masculinity and out of control revenge plot at its' finest. I get what this story is and wants to be about, I used to enjoy these type of stories more in the past. Now I feel it's a bit out of time, I am rather fond of characters that learn from their mistakes. The thing with revenge is, that it can keep on going forever and ever, I have not seen any character growth here. If I had to pick a favourite character it's Jeon Seok Dae, cause he actually seemed like he did learn from his mistakes and tried to atone for them. Also with a serious topic such as bullying it would be nice to have some educational value, not: violence and more violence is the answer
