actually I really liked Tian Wen, when I watched Word of Honor and always listened to the entire intro, often times I just skip intros, but I never bothered to look up the singer. How stupid of me, I will now catch up! Thank you for the very detailed guide :D

Her character did have very much to tell but I forgot to add her lol I had in my mind to add her but ended up…
there are just too many interesting characters in this drama. :D

Thank you for this article! I did get why some people found the drama too slow and complaining the story not leading anywhere, but for me it was exactly what I needed. I totally fell in love with the flow of it and all the characters, even the 'evil ones' weren't entirely evil. I would've loved to see more and get to know more about the backstory even of the side characters. You didn't mention Ki Seon Gyeom's sister, Ki Eun Bi, I think her charcter also had a lot of stories to tell. In conclusion yes very much a gem. And thanks for your self love message!^___^ Lots of love for you~ <3 <3 <3

Title Begin Again Spoiler
I'm kinda sad with the way they decided to do the last 10 episodes because i feel like all the personality traits…
right?! I was so upset when she just gave up being the CEO and ran away. And on top of that having a child and not telling him. Like all of the traits I loved in her character instantly gone. And then he accepts her back as the perfect "angel" that he is. If I were him I would've wanted to be the child's father, but not be with her anymore. After such a thing how can you still trust her? I am still pissed!! But of course it's a drama and of course they have to have their happy overly romantic ending .... haha I better stop here. I just believe the drama could've done much better without that part of the plot.

I ususally refer to it as the "White truck of doom" but after this masterpiece I might be tempted to use "Murder Truck Kun". Very well written! I almost choked on my own spit laughing!!! xD Let's hope Hyundai doesn't try to sue you.

I understand that many people found the drama slow, if you are looking forward for something to happen. If you just enjoy the interaction between the characters it's not slow at all. I even took it extra slow because I didn't want it to end. There was not even one single character I hated in this and there wasn't one episode I found boring. I could've easily watched another 10 episodes of this and I usually avoid dramas over 20 episodes.
I do get it's not for everyone though, but it's what I needed at the moment, so for me everything was perfect. Now I can only move on and be sad that I've finished watching.

Aah this takes me back to my working holiday in Japan, when I stayed at the apple farm in Azumino. The country life definitely has its' charm, and I love this kind of finding yourself story. I wished it would continue for a bit longer.

Loved reading your article! And the fact it ended with The Untamed was the strawberry on top of the cream! (wait I think it was another fruit and another saying, but who cares!) I wonder how many people here have the honor to be destined to be your friend. :D

I guess in my watch list you can find a lot of fluff, I do enjoy them, but I'd say my favourite genre is still slice of life, and I agree especially Japanese perfected this, also Korean dramas do a great job with chemistry. If there is a family by the third episode I am convinced they are actually related and their friendships feel so real, many of these stories are so heartwarming. Also the comedy is great, but I know some of the stuff that cracks me up might be extremely weird to non Asian drama watchers.

If I had to recommend one drama for beginners it's probably Hana Kimi. It's old, but gold. I can rewatch it anytime and it's still one of my favourite drama, it's got the crazy humor and friendship and Ikuta Toma!!

hopefully in season 2 they are not going to stay in black suits? I like the red track suits and makes more sense to fight in those! these commercials really, when I thought it couldn't get more stupid than the corn dog one

That god damn date is unknown AGAIN
I am trying to not check anymore cause I will cry. ^^° don't they always announce it like: hey tomorrow it's airing? If it happens, it happens!

hmm I wouldn't call her either. She is very young (in the novel 19 years old?), so some naive traits, but definitely…
oh right, I forgot about ML, he seemed quite typical type of cold from the outside but warm from the inside character, so not really that endearing. But since there was a lot of comedy in the novel I believe Xu Kai is perfect for that role, he can pull off the charming jerk if you know what I mean.

Did anyone read the novel?how is fl and ml?is fl naive or smart?
hmm I wouldn't call her either. She is very young (in the novel 19 years old?), so some naive traits, but definitely not an idiot. She is quite a tomboy and hot-headed, after watching a bit of Cheng Xiao in that skate boarding show, I look forward to her portrayal of the character. So let's hope they stick to the novel, then you won't get the general stupidly naive FL. :D

Ok rant time....I'm quite annoyed with ML's confused reaction and flip floping back and forth between the sister…
Agree!!! I wonder there are so many of us, who feels the same, why do we keep watching? hahaha As for me I am just enjoying the comedy and trying to ignore the messy plot. like at this point I am too far in to drop it. Well I rarely ever drop a drama, even the ones I am not enjoying, I am that kind of masochist.

I'm treating this drama like a sit com. It is the funniest drama I've seen tho I've only been watching C and K…
hahaha this is exactly how I am going on with this. otherwise I would be too frustrated to keep watching. Sadly they blew the best stuff in the first couple episodes, well I guess it also does get old. Now I am enjoying it more if she hurts herself on purpose to make him feel the pain. :D

There is no way back from this point.. Soojin thinks she has the power but actually she lost it completely. Suho…
after reading your detailed analysis and explanation it actually makes sense she could act this way. haha :D I just didn't see that coming from her character, so when it started to happen I was like: noo please don't walk down that road. I don't know if it's lack of acting skill or as I'd rather believe lack of writing skill to suddenly make her the "evil one". anyways now we'll just have to see what'll happen, but after this it'll be almost impossible to redeem her and that's sad.

Understandable yes but it doesn’t make it justifiable - she’s clearly in a lot of pain and doesn’t know…
I just wann say love your username! Feminist and proud of it!^__^

I'm choosing to believe that Soojin is doing all of these because her life is spiraling out of control. She's…
well said and yes I partly agree. For sure they showed us how she is hurting, but they also showed us her tough side, her kindness and willingness to stand up for her friends. It simply doesn't make sense to me she would suddenly act this way, which is why viewers are even more mad I guess. It would've been much better if she had opened up to her friends, shown her vulnerable side and then heal together ... not this! At least in other high school drama with this "scheming girl plot" the girl was being like this from the beginning. Her character change is basically 180° and the transition as well as reasoning behind it are not believable enough to me.
