exactly!! I mean I knew this plot was gonna end up typical Kdrama at one point, but I am super disappointed in her character change. I mean she was such girl crush material in the beginning, I loved her way of standing up to others . They could've and should've done so much better with her role in the drama. Not only in dramaland but also in real life, this toxic feminity of women putting each other down has to stop.

I don't get people who are offended just because you don't like the same stuff. A friend of mine loves crime and thriller, while I mostly go for romcom and slice of life, but we still talk about drama and Asian actors in general a lot and share what we are watching. Sometimes we find a drama we both enjoy. It's not bad to switch genre from time to time - like broaden your mind people. :D

Great article! it's interesting to see how everyone has different ways of finding a new drama.

-For me definitely I changed a lot since starting drama, in the beginning I was mainly going for dramas that had the actors I liked, because I knew nothing much . Or I was looking out for stories adapted from Manga that I read. But now there are so many cool websites like MDL where I can search by other criteria.
-I rely on reviews a lot, but only by people that finished a drama, that's why I don't really like to watch ongoing drama, and I hate to wait for the new episodes. ;D
-Thank you for the tipp with the Tags, I never really looked at those and seems like it could help a lot. :D
-But sometimes one has to be brave and try something new like you said! I always had good impressions of dramas where I didn't know the cast, and very importantly the Drama discussions or "Currently watching "articles on MDL have introduced me to very good dramas, that I would normally not have watched.
-Interestingly the youtube algorithm also recommended me a lot of fan-made drama videos (or even entire episodes like for "30saimade"), which led me to watch a drama

But most of the time the final deciding factor is still watching a drama out of mood I guess? ^_^

I guess this got recommended to me on youtube because of "30sai made" uugh the amount of cringe I just had to suffer, but imagining the characters of Riichi and Kurosawa flirting each other made it slightly more bearable. :D I am still dying to see this cross over ...ah maybe in my dreams

oh there was a Korean version aswell? haha I am clueless. I think for now I'll just stick with the Japanese version. :D

I have to admit I found Ariel Lin quite annoying, but that's supposed to be her character. lol Overall one of the best Taiwanese drama I watched, so far I am enjoying the Japanese version aswell. let me know what you think when you try "In time with you". :D

oh I knew that Indigo La End song, butdidn't know it was in a drama!:D I really enjoy their music. The drama is like a Japanese version of 'In time with you' and it's the actor of 'Life sonjou no bokura', I think I'll check it out. thank you^^

This took me longer to finish than I expected, but maybe it's cause it got so involved with Zombie ahjussis back story. It feels like this was his origin story and now there should be another season with actual zombie detective work, but as others said it seems like a closed story as it it. There were funny parts and suspense so I still enjoyed it.
Can I just say the "romance" is still putting me off? Okay there was no actual romance, but lucky considering a zombie is still a walking CORPSE after all - oh necrophilia. >_<

I am still against a romance, because I don't believe any Zombie could be turned back into human .. basically he is a corpse that's moving around. but I like the female lead more an more!
and yes waiting sucks. XD

so finally I finished it! I think the end was quite obvious, ever since they talked about visiting the old guy in the magic place I knew they were going to go back. although I had wished for Li Xuan to retrieve his memories earlier and maybe a bit more back story. I mean Dragon dude almost killed him and then never even talked to his own nephew and was just like: I'm gonna leave and not bother with humans anymore bye~ whyyy?? anyways it was okay and I am satisfied. ^^

yeah they really put in lots of effort with his Zombie style! and yes definitely hope he'll get to use his Zombie super powers. xD

yeah a friend recommended "iZombie" to me, but I don't even have Netflix. haha maybe I'll try it one day. I guess I will also try "Train to Busan" one day, cause it's a classic. well, I also watched "Old boy" for that reason, but didn't like it that much^^°

thank you <3 ^^ oh he was my favourite character in Gu Family Book! I don't recall much what happened in the story, but I still remember his story line was what really moved me.

haha I have too many on my currently watching and plan to watch lists. my friend also told me about iZombie! haven't got Netflix, because I watch too many Asian drama already. xD but maybe I will give it a try

I always cringe at the pensive shower scene to be honest. xD I think I agree with the fact that sometimes it comes too unrelated to the story like the stupid product placement.

On the other hand I do not have a problem with nudity (like I believe most Europeans are pretty used to full nude sex scenes on TV) and yes, of course, sex or sexiness sells.
I find it more problematic if they forcefully make actors or idols strip on variety shows if they clearly feel uncomfortable with it. I mean I think those idols who show off their bodies during a concert are comfortable with their bodies. And there are also some men on Korean variety shows that show their not so sexy body (like Kim Junho in 2days 1 night).
But if they are on some show and it's just randomly requesting people to strip I wouldn't want to watch this. Objectification is the dark side of the fame business after all.

haha I am starting to get more invested into Yun Shan and Xiao Fengmin's relationship. Long Wei Er is definitely an interesting character, but I don't want to have her added into Li Xuan's followers..like I am pretty sure he made it clear he only loves one woman. Also this will just get messy once all of their identities get exposed. >_<
