Finished it. I would recommend watching it. It is very funny, and it is very lighthearted. Still, the more I watched the more dissapointed I was.

Leads were much better as friends than as lovers. They were best friends, they did confide in eachother, they were inseparable, their relationship was balanced, she was rough with him and he teased her a lot.... When they got together they stopped being great with eachother. They didnt confide in eachother anymore, started relying on others for support, hid things from eachotehr all the time, passed more time separated than when they were friends, she kept being rough with him, or even rougher, but he started being a pussy abhout it, so now their relationship wasnt balanced anymore, she never asked for forgiveness even when clearly doing things wrong, it was always ML the one who had to make effort to fix things.... and so on.

Still, sounds bad but the show is still quite entertaining and you should watch it. It's a fun and lighthearted show.

Nope, it gets worse. I mean, the show is good, and quite funny, but the dynamic of the leads is pretty terrible. FL bosses him around, makes fun of him, never apologizes, threatens him with break up all the time... meanwhile he calls her queen, does everything she wants... They portrait him as a clown that follows her around and she has to "bear with him".

Before they got together their dynamic was quite good. She was still bossy, but in a friendly kind of way, and he teased her too in return. Now she is still bossy, but he changed to be at her beck and call. Also, while they teased eachother before, they always supported the other one infront of others. She doesnt do that anymore, even infront of others she moks him

Well, Im used to this type of shows catering to girls guilty pleasure instead of doing a nice relationship most of the times.

Episode 19. Im loving the show but I dont like how she treats him. Does it get better?

Not true, I watched ep12 and even 13 and they didnt get together

They get together at the end of episode 3 and never break up. They marry in the last episode and we see them with a kid in the last scene

Just finished it. It's an alright little show. Nothing to write home about, but a bit entertaining and sweet, while thankfully it doesnt have any annoying tropes like triangles, breakups, annoying family or crap like that.

Oh man, I watch tons of chinese and korean dramas, but for some reason I feel japanese ones are... weird. I do like anime and watch it a lot, but when real actors behave like anime characters.... it just doesn't click. Why do they ovearct and overreact so much?

Considering if I should watch it. but "what really takes a while is for her to forgive him irl" makes me not want to see it. Im so sick of every asian romance making ML do something bad so then FL gets to be mad for several episodes until she finally forgives him. So tired of this.
I understand more girls watch these shows, but Im really tired of girls guilty pleasure moments.

- The first episodes are a bit of a mess of flashbacks and flashforwards. But we learn that in the future they are married, in the past they were deskmates and somewhere in the middle they separated.
- In one of those flashes we learn that FL did something bad towards him, we dont know what yet
- After the flashes stop happening and the story picks up in highschool, the show starts being good in my opinion
- They quickly start having interest in one another and not much later are inseparable.
- They arent very flirty or anything, since ML seems to almost be autistic at this point
- Around episode 11: ML plans to go to Britain to study after highschool, and asks FL to go with him. (they are not a couple, but very close). She says yes.
- They start planing and she starts studying a lot, since she needs high grades
-Episode 13: FLs father is shot (he is a policeman) and is badly injured. FL decides to not go to Britain and stay helping him
- She starts avoiding ML without explaining anything. ML eventually finds out, and starts planing alternatives. For her to go later for example or to study in china but do some exchange in britain.
- FL keeps ignoring him, until at one point ML declares his love infront of other classmates but she rejects him and walks away.
- so he goes abroad and she stays. They dont have any contact at all. for years. She once visits the place where he stays for one day, and they almost cross paths, but nope.
- he is missing her and waiting for her to call him. She is also missing him but, no idea why she doesnt call
- Many years pass (9?) and they meet in their hometown
- They keep having contact but he is mad with her and doesnt want to talk much. She does want to talk with him, but doesnt want to talk about what happened, which seems to be what he is expecting.
- After some interactions like that one, he moves to Beijin to start a business
- Not long after she finally decides she wants to go back with him more than anything else, so she leaves her job and everything behind and moves to beijin after him.
- because of a common friend, she ends up working in his company
- They keep it cold, but with small warm gestures bnetween them, until one day she confesses she came to beijin because of him
- He kisses her and they get together (EP 24)
- In episode 28 some big problems happen to their company and the show turns kind of boring for me
- They start focusing on those problems, leads even separate because ML doesnt want it to affect FL.... blablabla
- In episode 32 they get back together. it wasnt an angsty breakup, even tho they sometimes called it with that name, it was clear to everytbody including them that it was just temporary. but still, unnecessary and boring
- in ep34 he "proposes" and in 35 they marry

Just finished it. I enjoyed it quite a lot and I would recommend it for people who like lighthearted romances. I still will say some bad parts it had for me:

1. During the first episodes, we see several flashforwards to their life as a married couple. I found those terrible. Every single of those scenes were FL wanting to do or buy something, ML coldly saying no, and FL pouting about it. That's it. That didnt create much expectations fo them getting together

2. At around episode 28 or 29, I dont know if the scriptwriters changed or what, but the show became pretty bad for me.

3. Whats wrong with the lightning of this show? They often use some bright white light that doesnt let you see well.

Nonetheless, I would still recommend it, not as an amazing show, but as an entertaining one.

Yeah, Im sure anybody reading my comments and yours would say its me whining. Just check who is raging. You almost seem to be salivating in anger while typeing.
IMO, ML wasnt bad, but bland, and she wasnt great, but good.
See what I wrote, IMO (in my opinion), now check what you wrote... so entitled.

You are raging so much about something that is subjective, that I can only think about 2 possibilities.

1. You somehow know this girl from some other movie or whatever, and already hated her, thats why you are making a ruckus about it.
2. Or you are a girl drooling over ML and that's why you are raging when reading he was just meh.

you are not giving any argument at all. "your argument is invalid because since you disagree with me you show you have no idea" is not only not an argument, it shows you have 0 reasoning skills.
I am not giving many arguments either, true, but that's because I only watched the show one time over a year ago, so I cant give you details so long after.
anyway, just reading your absulitly entitled "arguments" shows it makes no sense to have a discussion with you. you just think anybody disagreeing with you is not only wring, but deserves being talked harshly. you must be a gem of a person

And you go get some good manners. And some clue, since you don't know what you are talking about. I haven't seen a single show of that actress except this one, neither before this show, nor after. So this is the only show I've seen from her. I have no obsession at all, actually she is not even close to my top actors. but this was a regular, yet entertaining show, and I think she was one of the better parts of it. can't remember exactly since I watched it a long time ago, but I think ML was just the typical "Im just cold and cool", ML, which requires 0 array of emotions to display

What?? I can't believe it. I may watch the drama just because of this comment. Every asian drama has the opposite trope, I never saw FL having to work on getting ML back after doing something wrong.

I just finished the show. It is indeed not an angsty or annoying breakup. But I dont think you can not call it a breakup.

I havent watched this show, Im just.. perplex about this comment. So, bad reviews should never exist? You should not watch a drama if it turns out you end up dislikeing it? You cant write about it because it's.... wasting time?
