I think Kim Doha taking off his shirt in the Episode 6 preview is real because there is a scar on his back that was probably caused when his ex-girlfriend stabbed him. Then Solhee will see the scar and wonder what it's from. In the flashbacks we've seen so far, I'm pretty sure the ex-girlfriend was holding the sharp (glass?) object in her hand. Which would make it his blood everywhere including on her shoes. I doubt they did a DNA test on the blood.
Also, the ex-girlfriend was desperate to keep Doha in their hometown. Why wouldn't she be willing to go to Seoul with him instead? Unless she couldn't go to Seoul because her brother was controlling and wouldn't let her leave. It would also give her an alternative and more compelling reason for why she wanted to die: she felt like she couldn't escape her brother's rule. Her brother seems completely unhinged. He won't consider any option other than Doha being the murderer. What if she ultimately ran away and won't resurface because she doesn't want her brother to find her?
I was so happy Doha listened to Solhee and faced his problems. She's really been helping him heal. I hope that soon he will be able to do the same for her. They are too cute. I loved when he took off his mask in the club and played with a new found freedom.
Also, I'm happy that Doha was very direct in rejecting Syaon. She needs to move on and learn be confident in herself. Now she can start to do that. And Deukchan telling her she should date her fans was funny but felt like foreshadowing as well. I am hoping for Chihoon to get a chance to date his idol, Syaon. lol
Sh**ting Stars - It's a fun romcom with an ensemble cast that is a send up of the entertainment industry with 5 endgame couples so you're sure to find at least one you love.
The newer the drama, the faster the # of watchers increase as they're more relevant. Sadly, that means The Heirs…
The older dramas have the advantage of more years to gain watchers though. It's pretty impressive that The Heirs was a decade old show on the list and 2009's Boys Over Flowers is still hanging on. I'm newer to kdramas but even the very popular CLOY only joined the Top 10 recently after having been out for several years. So it does take awhile to even potentially make the list.
I'm watching with bated breath as Goblin needs only 17 more viewers to hit 200,000 Watchers here to continue its reign as the Most Popular Show. Yeah, I'm a numbers nerd.
ETA: YAY! Goblin has surpassed 200,000 Watchers!!!
Ok someone tell me one thing. How is it doing in Korea? I think it is doing well outside but what about Korea.…
It's doing slightly better in the ratings than the first season but we don't know what the network was expecting. Looks like this season average is about 6.5%, which isn't bad but is not a hit either. Compare that to Business Proposal's 9% average which was considered a hit. I'm hoping for S3 too.
While You Were Sleeping has just entered the Top 10 Most Popular Shows on MDL! It kicked The Heirs out of the last spot but Hotel Del Luna is close behind so we'll see if it's able to keep it's crown.
But there is a Season 3 this year with 10 more episodes. I'm starting to see a few kdramas do more episodes overall but split it into two seasons. Both Alchemy of Souls (30 episodes) and Poong the Joseon Psychiatrist (22 episodes) did it in the last year.
We might not get it here at all. Disney has been holding alot of kdramas hostage. Though Disney has been sending some of their kdramas to Hulu instead. If Dr. Romantic 3 is on Hulu, please let us know.
So, I have a question (I'm sorry if this was asked by someone else already🙈): I watched an edit of the couple…
Yes, they do eventually get more screen time together as their paths cross more. Also, there are 5 endgame couples in this drama so you have plenty of romances to root for.
