I'm still trying to figure out what the purpose of the amnesia plot line was for? 18 filler wasted episodes? Is…
There were several reasons. (1) It mentally reversed the age gap to make the DD the mature one and to show their relationship still works either way. (2) It showed how spontaneous, emotional, and playful YG can be. He is quite reserved at 41. Part of this is due to being tempered by age and life experience. However, a greater impact is likely due to his wife being so sick for so long and then her subsequent death. This took a huge toll on him mentally and emotionally to the point where at the start of this drama he was virtually estranged from his own children and could not move on from his wife to find new love. As a mental 22 year old, he openly embraced playing with his children and discussed important issues with them to build bonds rather than dictate what they can and can't do from a distance. With DD, he unabashedly couldn't help himself from flirting and seeking her out while wearing his heart on his sleeve. Because of DD coming into his life, he had started to embrace the children and her, but at '22' he did so unreservedly. (3) YG was cute and funny at '22', even DD agrees as she's been enjoying telling him stories of things he did then.
While YG has kept some of the benefits of the bonds he formed while he was '22', we can now see he is holding himself back from joyfully embracing the full life he could be living. I really think he needs to regain those lost 3 months to truly be whole as a person. I hope he gets those memories back soon.
I do wish they had at least got a hug at the end. He bought her family (dream) home for her! A woman should be allowed to show more emotion/gratitude that just crying.
Well, the group is together and doing well as a band with their music but they are also supportive of each others' individual pursuits. As for the main couple, they acknowledged their feelings yet gave each other the space they needed to figure out their lives and then he literally made her dream come true. I don't think the ending is open when you know they are going to be together. I only wish there was an end kiss but kdramas don't always do that.
I've watched it several times through I'm enjoying it so much. But it depends on your taste. It has enemies-to-lovers, contract co-habitation, mistaken identity, over-the-top humor, past traumas to overcome, secret dating, squad goals, etc. The first couple episodes set-up a pretty wild premise to get to the co-habitation but then the story has a good development arc. I really love the relationships between the band members and with the FL . Also, every bandmate gets their own motivation/storyline and the music is good. I've had the song "Beautiful Breakup" on repeat for a month. If that sounds up your alley, come watch with us.
Did she tell him? When they cut off after "I have something to tell you", it very rarely continues with the truth.…
Her birthday wish is that he won't hate her when he learns the truth and afterward he's says "What?!" so it does seem like she told him at least part of the truth. There are likely things she has withheld. We'll find out what that is next week. But whatever she told him, it was enough for him to say he felt uncomfortable with her at the house. Her character in general has taken bold steps and not shied away from most conflict. So I'm hoping they don't take the cheap route.
I'm glad that Yoon-ju told Tae-in first. Too often the love interest hears the secret from someone else. I like her honest boldness. Of course, Tae-in is not happy but I'm looking forward to his conversation with Woo-yeon to sort his feelings out. Also, really looking forward to all the band talking through their personal issues with each other. And those pesky debt collectors are back to put Yoon-ju in danger just in time for the penultimate episode the week after. lol
I had to use Google Translate but I found the announcement delaying the broadcast of episode 8 to the following week.

I really enjoyed him in Sisyphus and then watched The Witch's Diner and Nevertheless specifically for him. Did not disappoint. Seriously, I want a Potato Boy spin off: a young celebrity chef navigating new-found fame and love, with his mentor grandfather and boy-crazy cousin along for the ride. Anyway, looking forward to his journey as an actor.
You're right, Goblin indeed has many of the elements that I mentioned :D Actually it could be quite fun if he…
Goblin's Grim Reaper did have the job of finding ghosts and guiding them to the afterlife, complete with all the boring paperwork. While his job wasn't the main focus, it was a conduit that the show used to move the story along.
I’m only three episodes in but this is clearly a modern day retelling of Cyrano—a tragedy—which explains alot of the negative stuff I’ve read about this show (including who gets the girl). Anyway, I'm just here to watch Kim Seon Ho's awesomeness.
