The appearance of Nak Su at that moment of Jin-door test was really bad timing. It looked like the fake Bu Yeon…
It appears that Bu Yeon intentionally saved So-i. There is more to their story. We know that they knew each other in Sari Village, So-i stole from her but then came to town looking for Bu Yeon. There are two things we can take from Bu Yeon opening the Jin-door: she wants So-i alive and she wants to stay hidden for a little longer.
The last two episodes really highlighted how much both Jang Uk and Mudeok have grown throughout the series. They have gotten closer to each other and made new friends and allies. Initially, they both were extremely focused on achieving their goals to gain their powers. It was them against the world and little else mattered. But they’ve started to care more about the world around them, not wanting people to get hurt in this battle against the Danju.
For Mudeok, trusting others had been unthinkable. Now she has Uk, Yul, Danggu, the Crown Prince, Master Lee, Ju Wol, and she just put her life in Maidservant Kim and Choyeon’s hands to clear her of murder. She has a community around her now. For Uk, he’s been an outcast for so long and though he may be more socially accepted, he’s not forgotten what it is to be on the outside looking in. It started with caring about what Mudeok wanted, but now he’s paying attention to what many people need. He acknowledged and respected the real fear of the people against this present danger. He good-naturedly teased Danggu if choosing love is the right course of action when he knows he would do the same. He’s worried about Yul making himself sick over trying to keep Mudeok shapeshifter status a secret. He’s actively searching for answers and working with the Crown Prince in a way that suggests he’s doing this for the good of the kingdom as much as for his love of Mudeok. He’s clearly on the hero’s journey but so is Mudeok. She was never the villain she was portrayed to be. She was a soldier who was lied to and used ill by the enemy. Now that she learned the truth, she’s out to take down the people she used to serve. She takes her duties both as maid and mage master very seriously. Working herself to exhaustion and often putting her life in danger while earning the love and respect of those close to her. Through Uk and her new friends, she’s started to allow herself to care for others again. But she still has a big decision to make: will it be her against the world again or will she allow the people who care about her to fight by her side?
The crux of Uk and Mudeok’s relationship dilemma isn’t about whether or not they care about each other but what to do about it because of their complicated lives. Danggu and Choyeon showed us what happens when a love that the adults don’t want is exposed. Their objections are nothing to the ones that would be leveled against Uk and Mudeok once they learn she’s soul shifting former assassin and he’s the next King’s Star-level mage. But even their maid/young master and mage master/pupil thing is complicated enough for them on their own. When she gets her powers back, those relationships will end but a new one can begin. Uk has insisted they are ride or die and Mudeok has proven she feels the same. When he gives her back her sword, he’s asks for one final promise: after she gets her powers back either kill him first before going on her vengeance tour or let him promise his love to her in a meaningful way. These are not the impulsive characters we met at the beginning of this story. These are two people thoughtfully considering their feelings and the journey they want to take together, as lovers and as mages who want to fight the rising evil.
Also, how cute were Uk and Mudeok having secret meetings in a corner of their own home about the runaway lovebirds and their plans to figure out the Shaman’s identity. They are a team and they will not be separated. As for Master Lee’s warning about death coming for the person who uses Naksu’s sword, he seems to want to prove what Uk wants to prove: that she will choose protecting others over her personal vendetta but either way she will have to risk being in danger of death from someone if she chooses to use it.
We still don't know what it takes to bring someone back from the dead permanently. Most magic requires alot of energy. What if the ice stone was not enough? What if someone's life energy was needed? What if Lady Jin had a first husband who volunteered to give up his life to save their unborn child, Buyeon? Then after his death, she remarried and had Choyeon.
i know everyone has been getting upset about master heo making uk promise to give him anything he asks in the future (likely marry lady heo) and yul making mudeok promise to help him bring someone home (though we know it’s her). and the show may make these things look like they will happen (for a hot minute).
however, there is a really easy solution to blow these plans sky high. all you have to do is have danggu find out that uk x mudeok are in love. he will absolutely be on their side and we know he cannot keep his mouth shut about this stuff. he would probably spill the beans at the opportune moment in the most public, awkward, and funny way. it would definitely get uk x mudeok out of their ill-advised promises.
Naksu and the Crown Prince both had the same mage master. Just like how Jin Mu kept Naksu isolated from others to train her and mold her to his will by lying to her about the mage families, he also did the same thing to the Crown Prince. When the Crown Prince went to Jang Uk’s to pick up the swords, it was clear he didn’t know who the Four Seasons were, even though they are famous throughout Daeho. Naksu was equally unaware of them at first too. Naksu becoming Mudeok triggered a chain of events that helped both Nasku and the Crown Prince slowly become friends with their peers in the kingdom so they no longer see them as the enemy.
Mudeok is now aware of how Jin Mu used her but is unable to take action until she gets her powers back and stabilizes her soul transfer. The Crown Prince is not yet aware of how he has been used but will likely find out soon. Jin Mu thinks he’s still got the Crown Prince under his thumb but he’s going to be unpleasantly surprised to find the Crown Prince has a mind of his own. Just like how the Crown Prince knew the illusion that visited him was not the real Mudeok, he’s going to start suspecting Jin Mu of foul play when he tries to turn him against his new friends. While Naksu felt most betrayed by Jin Mu, the Crown Prince will feel most betrayed by the Danju, who is his mother. Naksu/Mudeok and the Crown Prince’s journeys are very much in parallel. They both have decisions to make on their allegiances, but I do see them teaming up with the Four Seasons to take down the Danju and Jin Mu.
okay so there are going to be 2 seasons? will there be a gap between the first and second?
Yes. They only just started filming second season. With all the CGI needed for this show, it probably won't air until next year. Though it is supposed to be a continuation for the sprawling cast so I'm hoping that means they finish the main story but there are just more stories left to explore.

She seems like a side character without a major story line, but I could be wrong.
Even looking at the choice between Danggu and CP. I would still choose CP. He loves beautiful things but he would respect her healing skills and treasure her kindness.

She's a healer from a Top 4 family, which means she will be super useful to our mains in the coming battles. Some healing may need to be done in secret, which she would only do if she was friends with them first. Also, you don't introduce a 'great beauty' and then not set her up with one of the mains. It's just not Jang Uk.
she sure have a major role in drama apart from crushing on male lead
In the coming battles, she's also going to be healing a whole healing a whole bunch of our main characters, some of which may need to be done secretly which only really makes sense to do if she has befriended them.
